Location

Parking. I was driving a Jeep but noticed a parking need for oversized work trucks and those towing trailers as there were 6-8 of them that filled to west parking lot when I arrived. Not complaining just making observation: There are several empty lots next door/across the street and 3-5 hotels within a block, maybe the hotels could work together to make parking lot for oversized work vehicles, those towing trailers and charter buses. I would think the hotels on this block could benefit from having parking lot dedicated for this type of vehicle close to the hotel. It could be shared by the hotels on this block.

Great property. This was my 2nd stay here. Located at a crossroads, convenient for N, S, E, W travelers. Lots of restaurants nearby, including Outback and Texas Roadhouse. Staff were friendly and responsive. They replaced my TV remote within 5 minutes of my request. Breakfast was hot and good. I liked the shredded cheese for my eggs.

I arrived before 6 pm so I was able to get the last parking space near the lobby. But in the morning, all the spaces were taken and there were cars parked where they normally shouldn't be parked, due to lack of spaces. So arrive early if you want close parking.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Location was very convenient to restaurants and shopping.

My only complaint was that the housekeeping staff apparently did not understand the purpose of the do not disturb sign. When we came back to our room after breakfast, they had opened the door to our room, and the sign had fallen off the knob onto the floor. When I brought it up to the front desk clerk, she said that this should not have happened. We stayed at this same hotel a week prior, and the same thing had happened, so this is not a one-time thing.

My reservation was made last minute in the afternoon while we were on the road for the same night, but when we arrived at the hotel, our reservation was perfect, with no problems checking in. Your staff was so friendly and helpful! We were unfortunately traveling because of a family funeral, and this made the third night in different hotels. The first had no room for us when we arrived even though I had my confirmation in hand, the second failed to do any housekeeping for us at all, and your hotel in Hattiesburg was great. And it was much appreciated!

Would have liked more outlets at the bedside table because we have so many electronic devices

Entire hotel that we could see was clean. Elevators worked great! (I have a fear of those things and you'd be surprised at how raggedy some are). Room was great. Lots of space. Very comfortable. Hotel staff were great. Attentive. Polit. Checking out, only had to ring the bell once and they appeared! (Again, youd be surprised....I've stood at check out for 20 minutes at other hotels before).

Not much sound blockage between floors. Sounded like a cross country meet on the floor above us. But I'm sure that what my kids sounded like to the floor below us.

The staff was awesome and so friendly to me and my puppy, Ziggy. I liked the fact that the window in the room opened to let in a cool breeze. The bed was comfortable. I had made a couple of reservations as my dates had been extended, but when I got there, the front desk person gave me one simple reservation at one price for all nights and saved me some money. Breakfast was the usual choices.

It was very hard to find a particular TV channel as there was no guide printed, nor was one on the TV.

The breakfast was okay, however there were a number of families with children there who were emptying out the food as quickly as it was served. It may help if there was possibly a hostess monitoring that service, & possibly adding a additional waffle maker, so that others staying there don’t have to stand and wait for additional food to be brought out & added in the warmers in order to have breakfast as well. I would have expected this experience when traveling over the weekends, but not midweek.

The hotel is exactly where I wanted to be in Hattiesburg. I found various food and drink options nearby with good and fun activities for the kids. Additionally, the staff at the hotel are absolutely amazing and the breakfast was good as well; and the beds were very comfortable.

While I do like pets, there should be a separate wing for that, as they were roaming around the common areas and in elevators and I did kill a flea that was crawling on me. While eating breakfast, the barking and sneezing of dogs is not a site or sound that I would like to experience. Some guests even brought breeds that were huge and kinda mean as well.

This Hattiesburg, MS La Quinta is superb. When I arrived, I was greeted so kindly by Lyric. She is a perfect representative of everything that Wyndham Hotels is looking for. The hotel & my room were wonderful! I had an executive room, with a king bed & sitting area, with sofa, chair, etc. In the bedroom area was a dressing table with 3 large drawers, refrigerator & microwave. The bathroom was spotless. It contained a huge walk in shower & great water pressure. On a scale of 1-5, I would happily rate this hotel as a 20! It is that perfect!

Not one thing! They even allowed me a late checkout!

It was convenient, well kept appearance both exterior and interior. The breakfast was very good. The staff was attentive and accommodating.

Parking was at a premium when the hotel was full. Restaurants required a car even though they were only 1/4 mike away. This was peculiar to me, most folks won’t care. Bagels were the soft grocery store kind not the delicious hard shell kind you find in a bagel shop.
