The check-in: the check-in was a bit mixed. We arrived a little after 3 p.m. and we were told that the housekeeping staff had yet to clear our room. Which we made the best of it. By going to a CVS (just around the corner). When we returned, it was as smooth as can be. The rooms: we got the executive suite. Which was nicely appointed and was pretty standard. Having our grandkids along the separate room was great. The amenities: we used both the exercise room and both pools since the weather was nice. The exercise room was crowded (Saturday night- go figure) the indoor pool was really fun. It's 3 to 5.5 feet deep. And since we had the whole pool to ourselves, it was great; everyone else was in the outdoor pool. The service: we needed extra pillows and blankets for the pullout sofa. They had everything to us without any delays. The location: it's centrally located, and everything is within several blocks for us. We have been to Springfield several times, and we really enjoyed this place most so far.

Gorgeous hotel with super quiet and well insulated rooms. Nice area and plenty of green areas to walk your dogs. Delicious coffee shop and super clean indoor pool that's open until 11! (we didn't go to the outside pool)

I wish breakfast was served M-F like all other hotels I've stayed in. We traveled 6000 miles over the last 3 weeks, staying at tons of 2-4 star hotels. This was the only one that didn't serve breakfast and the restaurant wasn't open. The only option inside the hotel was at the coffee shop (danishes, burritos, muffins...).

Was not happy that breakfast isn't being served. You stated due to COVID? YOU have been serving for over two years because I have stayed with you six times this past two years and breakfast was served so the excuse just made me angry. My husband had a hard time checking in because he didn't make the reservation but he has the same last name. I had to personally call the manager to get my husband checked in. She was kind and had no clue why the front desk was denning him.

The hotel was easy to get to and a good central location. It was a very quiet hotel and privacy was well respected. We had an executive king suite on the ninth floor with a Wonderful view. The bedroom was separated from the living area by a lockable door.

The room was a little dated and needed a few repairs. The carpet and hide a bed mattress were very stained. There was not a free breakfast option and the restaurant was expensive.

The food from the restaurant was very good. We ended up watching the AFC playoff game at the hotel bar, and the staff was amazing. The drinks and food were good too.

The last time I stayed there, there had been complimentary black coffee in the coffee shop, and this time around, you had to pay for it. It seems like a small thing, but it was a nice feature to have to be able to come back from your destination and grab a cup before going up to the rooms. I missed that this time around.

location worked well for us

Stains on carpet and furniture in sitting area. Pieces of concrete/gravel in outdoor pool. Broken concrete at handles by ladder at deep end of pool. Exposed bolts on ladder on side of pool due to missing cover. Indoor pool was too cold to get into (including my wife who lap swims in cold water all of the time). Mold/discoloration in bathtub. Peeling wallpaper in room. Room was freezing and could not adjust temperature even after changing temp on thermostat. Finally just turned unit off so it would not get any colder. Staff was not overly friendly, just kind of “going through the motions” and not very approachable, which is one of the reasons we did not bother to report problems.

The hotel is clean and well equipped. To me, safety is a priority when I travel alone. The indoor courtyard and layout, in addition to providing a welcoming space, provides a higher level of security. The staff are friendly and accommodating. When I need a hotel in Springfield, this is my go to place!

I would like to see real creamer in the room along with tea options. The coffee shop has great coffee, but pricey.

the options of 2 pools was nice . it would of been nice if it had a jacczi,

you have signs posted about being quiet and courteous children were running on the second floor right next to our room screaming and yelling nobody was doing anything about 930 at night staff never want to talk to them that the parents aren’t going to do anything the staff should do something that’s disturbing to other people in the hotel I did notice on the street parking your concrete needs to be taken care of it’s falling apart your brick by your parking lot across from the outside pool

it’s a fine hotel. probably was awesome in the day. but a couple upgrades and it could be awesome again. no fridge in the room. baseboards and doors banged and chipped up, the coffee pot didn’t work. carpet could be replaced. but the staff was very nice and the structure and location is incredible. it’s way better now that breakfast is free cuz it makes it totally worth it. in fact. scratch everything I said. cuz if they do upgrade it then the price is going up. so it’s all good!!!

Seemed clean, good light through the room window, friendly staff, reasonable cost. Close to downtown.

In-room coffee maker only had one cup but had four Kuerig cups. Never got any refill cups since room service wasn’t available during our three-night stay. Bad country music outside in lounge area without option of other music choices.
