Everything was excellent and the motel rooms have been professionally refurbed and are light and bright and lovely. We have been travelling 3 weeks and this is by far the best. And originally booked 2 rooms for 1 night and are now staying 3 in the historic are of Boulder City with lovely bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy to visit Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Las Vegas. So clean and refreshing and a quiet location. Am sure this will go down as the best motel on this 5 week trip.

I stayed here twice...on the way down and the way back from Az. Front desk gal incredibly kind both times. The rooms are super cute and each are different. The location and premises feel safe even though it's just off the road.

The thick slat blinds on the windows facing the parking lot are aesthetically pleasing, but they do let in a lot of street light at night. Would be nice to have the option of a roller blackout blind underneath, or even some blackout curtains for full privacy. Maybe there was that option...I didn't look for it behind the blinds.

We appreciated the vibe of the place, a traditional American retro motel. However our room was recently renovated with a nice industrial style. Everything was super clean, bed was comfy and in the room you have a mini fridge, a coffee machine, a microwave and a small table with 2 chairs. Parking is easy and you can usually park in front of your room. The location is perfect as you can easily reach the centre of the city by walk. Even if you are just passing through, I suggest you stroll around Boulder City in the evening, it's a lovely little town.

Bathroom a bit too small and the air-conditioning was extremely noisy.

Loved our stay in Boulder City and at the Sands Motel. The motel room was eclectic looking and you can tell that a lot of thought and care went into the rooms. Even though the building is vintage, the rooms are decorated/designed in a very eclectic taste with lovely furniture, modern bathrooms, and vintage style mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Motel staff were very nice and helpful. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

The bed was excellent for good nights of sleep. No tossing or turning. Find your position and sleep.

During the time I stayed I was working second shift near the strip in Vegas. I was looking to sleep until 8 the next mornings but there were some conversations outside the room door in the mornings from the service staff that were loud enough to wake me.

Great value for the standard room rate! Loved the motel was in the Boulder City historic district and walking distance to restaurants and antique stores. Housekeeping brought us fresh towels every morning.

We booked our room to attend a family memorial over a holiday weekend which coinsided with the annual chili cook off. Given the holiday and the cook off we paid 6 times the normal room rate. That was steep for the accommodations. We made the decision to stay for the steep daily price this time. Not sure we would be willing to in the future.

This is my second time being here and it did not disappoint. I plan on coming back several more times. The rooms are always clean and very spacious and you cannot beat the value. And the staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

This had nothing to do with the hotel itself or the staff. As mentioned prior they were great. However there was a person next to me that kept coughing all night and I found out how thin the walls actually were church that was the only thing that I didn't like however I'm sure that if I had mentioned to the staff if I could change my room they would have gladly done so.

Pet Friendly! The location was within walking distance on several restaurants and parks for our dog. Comfortable bed and a giant TV in a very large room .Park in front of our room, easy check in, quiet room.

Not a big concern but in room 117 the bathroom fan was very noisy, slow draining tub and the hardwood in the bathroom area needs a good scrubbing.

Bed was comfortable, room large and bathroom was clean and one of the most practical I have made use of. Good location and close to good eateries. 24 hour front desk is great too.

An intermittent humming throughput the night was a little bit of a bother but that may have been the air con in the adjacent room. Otherwise not a major.

When I saw that it was an old style hotel, I was concerned. As soon as I opened the door, I was wowed. Large renovated room with comfortable king bed. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Close to restaurants. Plenty of room to park our trailer.

Shower head was low and no breakfast.
