A very cute bed-and-breakfast. The new owner was fantastic! She was so accommodating, even though we had made a last minute reservation. The breakfast she made us in the morning was fantastic as well. And she told us about all of her plans in the future for this beautiful inn. We can’t wait to see all the changes she makes as we will definitely be coming back!
There was not much to dislike about this property. The only drawback was there was a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling, but the owners just purchased the inn and it is in transition

5 Star I recommend to all. We were received like kings. Very nice hotel, warm, clean and very well maintained. Nice comfortable room. We had lunch seated at a beautiful table with excellent food. Tablecloth, golden plate, cut glass. The Total. An incredible experience, I will keep very good memories of it. We had a problem with the car, Charlotte and Peter were of great help to us. As friends would have done for us. I am very grateful to them. Thanks again. I love you and will visit you again if I return to NH. Promise 😊

Nicely preserved the history of the building while making it comfortable. I had to leave early before the regular breakfast was served , but Bobbie prepared fruit and muffins early for me. And Anthony showed me to the room and oriented me well. He also showed with pride the map of visitors who had placed pins of their home cities over the 18 yrs of their ownership, as I set mine. Nice touch that they had such a thoughtful and long-standing tradition.
Recurrent buffering of the internet. No big deal.

Simply Gorgeous! Old Victorian style house. There was so much to look at, and it was so relaxing to sit in the common room with the wood stove burning. Bobbi and Anthony were just amazing. kind, patient. Regaled us with stories of the past. we laughed at the lovely breakfast table spread, which while we were the only 2 visitors, could have fed the neighborhood!! Fresh brewed coffee, bite size pastries and Orange juice. Followed by Exquisite French toast and Sausage. simply delightful and filling. And the animals. What a delightful menagerie greeting us. Eddie the handsome dog and Peg Leg Toby and Bootsy the Felines. My daughter and I are animal lovers, and we loved our bonding time with these precious animals. The bedroom, private bathroom and Fridge provided exceptional comfort. I loved the various candy dishes around as I have a naughty sweet tooth and it was great to grab a pice here and there. No problem with Wi-Fi or safety issues. Just a grand experience. I suggest the Common Man Restaurant up the street for dinner. great food and ask for Sara the server. Thank you Bobbi and Anthony. see you again. 💕
Everything perfect.

The breakfast was very good and my daughter and I loved the fresh fruit salad, juice and muffins. The location was not far from a play we were going to and we saved money. I liked that there was a fridge outside the rooms where you could grab glasses to enjoy wine we brought back with us. In the fridge were waters and a basket offering granola bars. Great for someone that finds they are hungry late in the evening or has young kids needing an extra snack.
I enjoyed my stay and the bed was comfy.

Amazing atmosphere and friendly people. Great place to stay at a central location for travel to other areas.. the owners were very helpful in what to see and how to get to it. Either a bonfire every night or hangout in the garage sharing stories from the past. Just a great time and very relaxing.
There was nothing I didn't like about this place.

The hospitality, the bed was super comfortable, it was a jet tub as well although we didn't use it I thought that was really a nice thing to have too.
Although I didn't mind the breakfast choices, and they were absolutely delicious, my partner who I was with wasn't overly enthralled with them.

Anthony and Bobbi were the nicest people I have ever met. We hit it off immediately and they made our stay so enjoyable I can't wait to do it again. And Eddie, there dog was so friendly I wanted to take him home with me. Anthony gave us the lowdown of the houses history and it was quite a story. We put a pin on the map they had in the hallway to show where we came from. The map was full, mostly in the New England area but every state had at least one pin, including east and west Canada.
The house was a bit further away from the concert we went to but I would still do it all over again.

The owners were lovely. The house had a charming old-fashioned style, detailed millwork, stained glass, and lots of light—great breakfast with clean ingredients—all from local farmers. Ashland is a cute town close to great restaurants and fun hiking trails.
Everything was great; I didn't have any problems.

Cheney House is a great B&B run by such amazing people. Anthony and Bobbi were great hosts and provided us with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and they were able to accommodate with gluten-free options as well. The old Victorian house is gorgeous, the rooms are big and nicely decorated. WiFi and Spectrum TV are available. The B&B is located only couple of mins away from Whitten Woods trails. Downtown of Ashland is nearby and has multiple options to eat. The cozy White Mountains brewery is also only couple mins away. Thank you Bobbi and Anthony for having us.
