clean room, good lighting, embraced the old vibes

Shampoo and conditioner were small and ineffective (no lather with shampoo), room was narrow, right by the highway so we could hear the noise from the cars and trucks passing.

The room was great for a solo traveler. Single bed that was very comfy. The room itself was stylish and comfy. The desk placement was perfect to use my laptop and watch TV. The 3 ball lamp in the corner was a nice touch to the aesthetics. The bathroom was clean and spacious as I am a bigger person. Plenty of room! Biggest perk was an AC that actually went below 67 degrees! Most hotels I have stayed at lock the AC to 66-67 degrees at the lowest. This place's AC went all the way to 60 degrees!

The ONLY dislike I had was where the hotel is next to a busy road I could hear big rigs use their jake brake. This of course is not the fault of the hotel. As far as regular traffic, I never heard a peep.

When we arrived late after 12 hours driving through heavy rain, the gentleman on the desk lost no time to had the room assigned for us. The conversation with him was refreshing and gave us the feeling to be welcomed. Just sitting and looking carefully how the room was prepared for me as the guest - I had the feeling the houskeeping staff cares about my wellbeing. I felt the personal responsibility, everything was prepared with „a soul“- the folded towels, the cleanliness of each corner, how everything was layed out. We especially appreciated all thoughts which went into our safety during our stay. We had to check out before the official opening time of the breakfast room - but we were offered already access to food and coffee.

Spotlessly clean , great breakfast and friendly staff especially Jennifer who is a major asset she made us feel welcome from start to finish . Check out was excellent with Hope making sure everything went seamlessly.

Staff - Jennifer providing the best customer service . Beds were very comfortable. The gym whilst basic was a great bonus .

Big comfy bed, spacious room and a few handy extras I needed to make use of (kettle, iron etc.) Staff were nice and there was a (small) fitness centre with running machines and a cross trainer. There was a little diner very close to the hotel that was good.

I didn't have a car so it was a bit far out from town. Not overly cheap either, although I was travelling alone, booked late, and it seems the whole Portsmouth area is expensive. Very minor points: bathroom was a little dated; a/c was loud (but worked well); a bit noisy due to the busy nearby roads (doesn't really bother me though)

Comfortable bed and a good King Sized room for a family of 3 with a child <1yo; we had plenty of space for our child's pack 'n play crib, our stroller, and all our other baby gear, with still space for our baby to play on the floor. Room was simple and clean. Convenient location for a visit to Water Country!

While the included continental breakfast was appreciated, the quality left a little to be desired. I wish the coffee had tasted better, and I wish there had been fresh muffins as opposed to processed, packaged ones. Still, for what it was, everything was orderly and well-maintained.

Very comfy bed, good bathroom, spacious room. Liked the place to put my suitcase. Very convenient breakfast hours and they had everything I usually like to eat for breakfast.

The doors to the rooms would slam shut, making it noisy if neighbors were going in and out of their room at night. The carpeting in the room gave off a musty smell to the room.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds :) mini fridge and microwave in the room. It was great :)

I feel the tub should be washed a bit more. I only have a shower at home so I was so excited to take a bath.. until I saw a couple hairs in there from the person before 😆 besides that it was great!

Beds and comforters were great, staff was very friendly and helpful, complimentary bottles of water were appreciated. Location was convenient.

Pillows were very squished into squares but when expanded were lumpy. Continental breakfast choices were poor: microwaveable sausage egg biscuit, muffins, yogurt and apples. Sink stopper didn’t work.

Easy to get to downtown and highway

They put us into room 100 knowing that it had a faulty air conditioner that barely cooled the room. But they did switch us to another one that was find.
