So my husband, my two children and I stayed the weekend, Friday to Sunday. BOTH nights, Friday and Saturday night around the same time 12:30ish, we just got in from the boardwalk and we had one worker knock on our door the first night saying someone complaint of “noice” when my kids were sleeping? The next night there was two guys knocking on our door together saying there was a complaint stating we were “moving around furniture” and we literally just walked in the door ! the door was still open and I asked him if he heard anything as he was walking up but had nothing to say! Of course I said something to manager as we were checking out and he said he was going to look into it !

Everything was great. It was nice that it had a small stove/oven, sink, and a regular size fridge. Having a pool was a plus and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You are minutes from the beach it's right across the road. It's about a 5-10 min walk to the convention center and 10-15 min to the boardwalk or splash park. The hotel was very clean and not too far from some restaurants. If your not looking to drive your car that much and don't mind walking 10-20 minutes depending on food your looking for this place is perfect. I came on memorial weekend and where it is is actually pretty quiet so you don't have to deal with large groups walking around. There is a convenient store/ diner at the corner which was nice because I forgot tooth paste and their prices were actual on the lower end. So whether your coming with family or just friends I would recommend.

I have no complaints

I loved how close this was to the beach and boardwalk, yet it was still set back enough that it was quiet and the kids were able to sleep. A full size fridge in the room was convenient and the pool is great! I requested to be near the balcony and the owner fulfilled that request too.

Only issue was people staying above us were very loud - bouncing a basketball and running around after midnight two of the nights we were there. I have young kids so quiet after 10 is important to us. But that was no fault at all of the property; next year we will just request to be on the top floor.

We LOVED the location and fun nostalic 70's vibe. It was easy walk to beach and boardwalk but quiet street. I did not know there was a breakfast so we did not check that out.

replace window unit ac with mini splits. The 70's vibe is fine except that newer tech for climate control is so much more efficient and QUIET - not shutting off and turning back on all night, waking you up every hour. That part of the 70's I can do without.

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff was so friendly. we called the property directly whether it is opened or not because all of the properties are mostly closed due to off season. They are really amazing and will stay again and I'll come back with my kids and they are going to enjoy the view for sure, it's too close to the board walk and local attractions. Thank you guys see you soon.

Priced right!! Fairly clean, quiet(even with a party raging next door) close to the boardwalk and beach, pool was clean and cool, TV didn't work, but we weren't there to watch TV... Had a blast! Will be back!!!

TV didn't work 😆 bed wasn't too comfortable it was too soft for my liking, but was nice on the sun burn...

pleasure of staying at American Safari and I must say, it was nice, peaceful and safe experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles from the front-desk guy Chintu and a level of hospitality that made us feel like VIPs. A Few steps Walking distance to boardwalk, beach and most of the restaurants.

Smaller - suprised how sound proof and quiet was . Everyone was so aware and respectful of each other

Just wish there was a heavier blanket ( I’m cold ) obviously had air cranking because you need too .

Staff from check in to check out were friendly and accommodating. Chintu (sp?) was nice and helpful. Room was basic but actually had more kitchen appliances than I thought and they all worked well. Pillows were very comfy! Pool was heated but...see other comments

Someone put a styrofoam life preserver in the pool and it disintegrated and left a ton of little styrofoam balls all over the surface of the pool. I and other guests skimmed and got some out but it was a ridiculous amount. Staff tried cleaning it also. We noticed the filter for the pool didn't seem to be running. Not sure the staff were even aware but it's possible the styrofoam bits clogged it.
