The hotel is very clean, rooms clean and bright. Entry to beach was inviting. Not having to bring our own chairs and umbrellas due to availability of those items at beach was a plus. Front desk staff was extremely helpful when I needed a few extra minutes to check out due to my husband feeling ill. Incorrect charge on my account at checkout was rectified by the time I arrived at home 3 hours after checkout and I was promptly notified of same. Most of the beach staff was friendly and helpful. Lifeguards were great as well as surf camp offered on property, highly recommend.

Availability of chairs poolside is a problem. People leave towels on chairs unattended for hours while at the beach in order to save seats and staff is not monitoring this. Staff, with the exception of above, could be friendlier. Housekeeping staff knocked loudly on doors of guests scheduled to check out and loudly stating checkout time is 10 o’clock. I have never experienced this elsewhere and the delivery was rude in my opinion.

Beautiful and very clean resort. Staff everywhere were friendly and worked hard to make the stay nice. Room was spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We were provided a portable crib, which was very convenient not having to bring one. Service at the pool and beach was great. Having lounge chairs and umbrellas provided is a huge benefit. The shuttle to the boardwalk is great. Across the street is a coffee shop with great breakfast and an attached ice cream parlor. We enjoyed both. ICONA has thought of almost every convenience and made it available, which is why will we 100% be back.

Was charged the resort fee after paying for it already on booking.com . Room prices were high. Food selection is not great. Should have a wider , more kid friendly, picky adult friendly menu. Wish there were more places to eat within walking distance but of course this isn’t Iconas fault.

I like that the place was immaculate. Staff was very helpful. You asked for towels and shampoo and she came with 5 towels and a bag of shampoo. Parking was very good. Reception staff was very helpful. My granddaughters enjoyed the pool. The convenience of the umbrellas and lounges was wonderful. Didn't have to cart 5 chairs and umbrellas to the beach. Music was nice. Getting food by the pool was great for the kids. I like Diamond Beach. The sand is clean and smooth. I'm in my 70's and it was easy to walk on the beach. All in all it was wonderful. I usually stay in Cape May but decided to stay in Wildwood Crest and go into Cape May for restaurants and shopping. Thank you for a great trip.

My only suggestion is to put a grab bar in the bathtub/shower. It feels safer to be able to hold on to something to get in and out of the tub.

Visited during Memorial Day Weekend 2023 and it was my first time here. All the other reviews are right! This place was great! I stayed in one of the Premium Poolside King Studios and the room location couldn't be beat! Practically private elevator right by the room that went to the door of the on-site restaurant; stairs even closer to the room that went down to the restaurant patio & pool; and limited other rooms & traffic for a quieter experience. Service was superb both while there and afterwards. Due to an emergency, I had to leave early and the hotel gave me a partial refund (probably because I'm a Vet and it was Memorial Day). I also forgot some items in the closet and they worked with me to get them sent out!

The entire hotel looked like a picture from a magazine. Absolutely beautiful and super, super clean. I had no major issues about the hotel or room. Beds were very comfy. Loved the kitchen layout. Hallways, elevators, stairwells were clean. Did I mention everything was super clean! The hotel staff from the front desk to housekeeping were really nice. We did visit during the off season. I will have to come back during the summer season to get the full experience.

I must say that parking was pretty tight. If you leave out then return later at night you might not be able to find close parking. Since this was off season, I wonder what the parking is like during peak summer time. Also, I wish the bathroom was a little bigger but it was very clean.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. We were there in winter, but you can tell it's an amazing place to stay in the summer for location alone.

2 things were not up to par. 1) The bathtub ran orange/rusty when we turned it on - we had to flush the water for about 5 minutes before it ran clear. 2) Our booking was for 4 people and included breakfast - however, the hotel said the voucher is only for 2 guests, the other 2 guests had to pay full-price for breakfast. This was definitely NOT expressed anywhere in the booking or confirmation - it made me angry and decreased my overall satisfaction.

The property was very nice, well maintained, and more up-to-date than a lot of surrounding hotels. We had a slight issue with the first room, and they quickly accommodated us with another room. It's right on the beach, which was a huge draw, and the beach bar was very nice to have nearby. We had our kids with us and they loved the hotel. The staff was also really wonderful.

The restaurant wasn't finished yet, so there was a lot they didn't have yet, but what they did have was great! There was a horrible leak in the ceiling above the entrance and every time we walked in or out of the hotel we had to dodge it, which was difficult with our 3 children and massive stroller in tow. I don't even know where the water was coming from, it didn't rain the entire time we were there.

I have my own vacation rental & I needed a break! This was spur of the moment & off season. The staff was exceptional. mgr. Jonathan, front desk help as well as the Mgr. in the restaurant. I never would dare to have everything white, however you pulled it off. Great cleaning staff as well. The only things I would change if you ever could. The loud heating/cooling unit?? in room/balconey. Little larger bathrm. add a fan to drone out noise. Loved that the Restaurant was flexible with what I could eat (diabetic) made me special drink & even brought food to my room. Kitchen was well equipped. I would have added aside table between couch & chair. Beautifully decorated.

The view from our room was excellent. There was plenty of space for our luggage and a pack n play and a 48" x 48" playmat for our infant, we had the king bed. We saw staff cleaning everything - corridor carpets, elevators, etc daily. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The restaurants had one of the best crabcakes I've ever had, great staff and ambience. There's a cafe across the road at The Grand if you want something lighter for breakfast. The Star beachside restaurant has live music and is an excellent place to kick back and chill especially with an infant.

The heated pool was too cold for our 6 month old baby and his first pool experience didn't go down so well :(

staff was super friendly. the beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. the pool is heated and very comfortable. The best part was the private beach and the chairs and umbrellas they provide for no cost.

I didn’t like that they had a wedding every night, which isn’t a problem but they would shut down the beach bar to the hotel guests and staff asked us to walk the long way to get to the beach so that we couldn’t be seen by wedding party guests. We paid a lot of money to stay here and to use the accommodations that we thought were provided.
