Conveniently located. The desk clerk was friendly and smart. Comfortable bed and pillows. It’s an older motel in a small New Mexico town. The property is a decent value considering the area. Great ice machine.

Towels and washrags were older and scratchy. I wish the air conditioner, not just in this motel, but everywhere, was much more quiet. The floors could have been mopped a bit more regularly. There was no breakfast. We had brought our own breakfast along, though.

Check-in and check-out were handled by friendly, attentive, and efficient staff, The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The wi-fi worked great as well. I was very happy with my choice to stay here, and the entire experience was pleasant. The owner/manager works hard to make sure guests are satisfied, and he succeeds.

The only tiny thing is that a soap dish or somewhere else to place the bar of soap in the shower would have been nice,

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped and had all amenities that I am looking for in a hotel room. I particularly liked the relatively large table that allowed me to set up my laptop and charge the plethora of electronic devices that accompany modern-day road warriors. I would gladly stay at this motel again.

Updated facility with easy access. The large flat screen TV was an added bonus. Our room had all the amenities we needed with ample tech charging availability. The arrangement of the bathroom allowed two people to utilize the sink and shower separately.

Things were a bit dusty due to recent renovations.

The rooms was SO clean!! And the shower was amazing!! Instant hot water, no letting the water run waiting for it to get hot! And the water pressure was wonderful! I have long hair and it took seconds to rinse the shampoo out! The price was very reasonable too! The room had a microwave and mini frig, not all motels do. We will be staying again for sure!

We liked everything! Room #17 would be more efficient for the owners with some weather stripping around the door. It was not an issue for us, we stayed nice and warm!

Accommodations were made and shared with guests to view the solar eclipse. Carrizozo has a great little business district with much character, and a personable mayor who was also very accommodating.

There was debris in a corner of the shower.

The owners are A+, the rooms were super clean and very orderly, the room even smelled so good. This is a perfect place to stay, a short scenic drive from the park, and the price was very good compared to the prices in Ruidoso. Next time I’m in the area I will stay here again.

This is personal preference and I know that half the people out there would prefer a firm pillow. I prefer a soft to medium pillow. So it was a little hard for me to get comfortable but it wasn’t bad at all.

I had never stayed at a Motel. The renovations were great. Bed was comfortable. If the outside was renovated it would not feel like it's sketchy. Overall it was a pleasant stay. I would stay again.

The building looks really old. The trash can was right by our door.

We had a pleasant stay. Facility was clean and appeared to be recently renovated or it was very well maintained. Room was comfortable and very clean. A/C did a great job keeping the temperature comfortable, it was a hot weekend.

The TV didn't work, had to call front desk to be walked thru the reset process, had to reset several times before it worked. The young lady we dealt with was pleasant and seemed friendly but wasn't even dressed or had her hair combed the day we checked out. It was later in the morning, around 9-9:30. This was a bit unprofessional.

Good value for money and the room had everything needed and was spotlessly clean. Near to the Honey Girl’s cafe which is worth checking out for good coffee and ambience.

The shower was a little dated but very spacious and the water was hot. Not much going on in Carrizozo!
