The Candlewood is a great option for anyone visiting Syracuse University. While out by Carrier Circle, it’s an excellent value and very clean and only takes about 10 minutes to drive to campus. They don’t offer a lot of extras but the price more than makes up for it.

Very clean, the same women at the front desk every time we stay and she is absolutely awesome! Great personality, friendly, just a great person greet you. Feel terrible that her name escapes me!

This is our second stay at the property and it was even better than the first. For starters, we booked a one-bedroom suite and got a two-bedroom one that was very comfortable. The property is easy to find and while the reservations included no breakfast the reception hall actually had free coffee and, in the morning, freshly baked donuts from the Geddes bakery. The staff was friendly and the value for the money was excellent.

The staff greeted us with a smile and was very courteous. I felt welcomed when I first walked in.
Nothing. Everything was great. Outside of the fact that I like a firmer mattress, but other than that my stay was great. Everything was clean and quiet. Just the way we like it. Location was great too.

The location was great, but to my recollection we didn't know bout no breakfast but overall my stay was good
The remote control for bed room tv don't turn the TV on you have to turn it on manually

No complementary breakfast. For the price of the room, the breakfast should be included with the stay. You should not have to pay extra very disappointed.

The hotel was easy to find and the check-in experience was very positive. Our original reservation was apparently cancelled and replaced with a room that was less than ideal but the receptionist was very attentive and found a suitable replacement. She also provided the extra bedding we needed for the living room couch and gave us a good hint on where to find a missing coffee pot decanter (in the dishwasher).
Unfortunately, the room billed as non-smoking did smell of smoke but since we needed a suite with an extra bed we had no choice but to stay in it.
