We stayed in the Garner Suite which was lovely. Location is super central to The Commons which is only a couple of minutes on foot. Linen and bathroom were clean and the host had very kindly accommodated our last minute request for a pull-out bed. The room had everything you could want including a good coffee maker, air-con and hairdryer. The main bed was very generous in size, very comfortable and offered a great nights sleep. The afternoon tea cookies and coffee are a lovely touch and it was great to check-in just after 3pm and have a cup of tea with a sweet treat in the living room area. Breakfast of fresh fruit, orange juice, frittata, slice of ham and fried potatoes was fantastic but the stand-out were the freshly made waffles with syrup.

The sofa bed in the second room was not comfortable and unfortunately did not offer a good nights sleep. The pull out bed however was fine.

This is a wonderfully preserved period property in the heart of Ithaca around a 10 min walk from the Ithaca Commons area where most of the pubs and restaurants are. It is further away from Ithaca College (where my daughter is a student, which was the reason for my visit) about a 30 min walk or a 10 min drive. Limited parking was readily available on site. The room I stayed in was spacious and very clean as well as preserving many original features. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 with coffee available from 7.15. Complimentary cakes are available in the afternoon. The staff were excellent and service top notch.

Being close to the centre of Ithaca, there was some traffic noise at night but this did die down later on. Also parking on site is limited and on street parking is only available after 6pm and at weekends. This is not a major issue but requires some planning or luck with parking spaces.

This inn was a deliberate choice on our part to eschew the corporate offerings nearby in favour of something more local and typically "Ithaca" - in that regard it met our expectations. Lovely old house and delicious homemade breakfast. Parking was easy and convenient. Hosts were awesome and engaging.

The bed frames creaked often enough that one of us chose to sleep on the floor. (The mattress and bedding were lovely, this is just about the old frame.)

The communication from this property was excellent. My room was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was recently refurbished. The propietor was very congenial and the breakfast was the best I’ve had in years!

This inn is a beautif old victorian home! At night, I could hear the TV in the next room, which is fine. Just know going in to it that this is the nature of it.

Cleanliness of rooms and wonderful staff ( Lily and Debra)! Breakfast was ample.

Would have liked to have met the owners. Didn't like having to park on the road because all the spots at the Inn were taken. Had chosen a garden view from the window, however there really was no garden to see - it wouldn't have taken much to add some color. Saw they were starting a flower bed in the front of the property though. Would have liked the ability to hang our clothes; I did see a wardrobe in another room.

Breakfast was amazing and the dessert treats were a lovely touch. My dietary limitations were well taken care of. As a tea drinker I loved having access to an electric kettle to make tea anytime I liked (there was pod coffee as well). Comfy bed, lovely historical building, located right in downtown and with parking...highly recommended and I hope to get a chance to stay again.

The William Henry Miller Inn is the perfect place to stay when traveling to Ithica, NY. It is a very comfortable inn, plenty of space to hang out on the first floor, and very nice rooms. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff very nice. It is located in town, so you can walk to all the shops, restaurants, and bars.

The only quibbles would be that the location can be a little noisy as it is downtown on a major street. But that makes it extremely convenient to restaurants and other things to do, so it is a compromise.

Friendly and professional services and welcoming attitude throughout our visit. Great location to town central, restaurants, as well as walking trails. Evening desserts were scrumptious. Ithaca is "Gorges."

A city map in welcoming letter would have been helpful.

The hotel is located in an old house with a yard and parking and another adjacent building. We stayed in the adjoining building which included 2 rooms and a large bathroom. It was clean and tastefully furnished
