It is in a beautiful area and is a beautiful property. We were last min on this stay, just a stop on a drive home from long trip; but we have stayed here about 5 years ago for a couple nights for our 30th wedding anniversary and was now reminded why I wanted to return. Our next stay will be longer as the accommodations are so perfect; water view and walkable to everything…such a cute town with so many restaurants! Do not expect a 5 star “Hilton” if you book; but if you enjoy a well kept, boutique hotel with old world charm you will not be disappointed and hopefully love it as much as we do. I wish I could remember the women’s name at front desk; we were so tired from travel and she was exceptionally kind. Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!!

The breakfast could be better; but it’s free and in all honesty it’s hard to find a hotel after Covid that offers anything better. Not really a “dislike” or “complaint”; but fear of Covid is over for most people that travel….add $5. to each person per night and go back to a better breakfast. AGAIN… just a suggestion not a complaint- it was fine!

The breakfast was good although there was 1 sausage left in the tray and it was only 830am, the tray was not replenished while we ate breakfast. Overall our stay was great, but was very surprised upon arrival to see the lobby under construction, it was a mess and very dusty, I feel the hotel should have given us a heads up regarding the renovation. I've been to this hotel approximately 6 times, it's the only place I stay when I'm visiting Lewiston and I have to say I miss how it was before the renovations, the charm and history of the hotel is gone. Will definitely stay at this hotel again as we love the location and rooms are spacious.

Not informed the lobby was under construction Very disappointed the original charm and history feel of the place is gone

The location was great. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. The continental breakfast was more than we expected. Yum!!

There were two things that could be approved upon. One thing, the windows need some TLC. They were very difficult to open and one would not stay open. The second window only opened about 2 inches. We like fresh air while sleeping. The second thing I would like to note is the popping sound from the pipes when some uses hot water. Being woken up at 6:30 from pipes popping wasn't fun but we made the best of it. Besides those two things we loved our stay and we plan on going back in the summer.

This is a lovely hotel. We have stayed here twice and every time it has been impeccably clean. The rooms are very large and each has an electric fireplace. The bathrooms are huge and the shower is a luxury in itself. I am very picky about hotel rooms being clean, and these were wonderful. Crisp clean sheets! One of our rooms had a perfect view of the Niagra River, the other one had a wonderful view of the main street in town. The included breakfast was great too - eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, bagels, yogurt, sweet rolls, make your own waffles, breakfast sandwiches..... PLENTY to please anyone.

I was completely happy with it all!

The best hotel in the area. It is pricey during the summer but acceptable from Oct to May. Beautiful location on the river and 2 min away from the charming main street of Lewinston with all the shops and restaurants and The Village Bake Shop:-).

For the first time, we were in a room facing some mud between the hotel and the house on the left on the first floor. It's not something you want to look at from the your window but the big terrace on the second floor, which all the guests can access with amazing river views made up for.

It's been 12 years since I visited the US, and I had forgotten how much I love it. This is encapsulated by the Niagara Crossing Hotel and Spa. The historic nature of the building means that some of the decor isn't perfect as you'd expect in a more modern hotel. For me this adds to the charm and the genuine nature of the property. The front of the hotel leads directly to the niagara river with the whirlpool jet boats (recommended) and several eating/entertainment places. A short walk up the hill is the village/town centre of Lewiston, with plenty of places to eat and drink. A 15 minute walk from Artpark and a free trolley service to Niagara falls mean this is in a great location. The room is spacious, and has a comfortable feel to it. Cleaning service is on request, which I haven't used. The staff are friendly and attentive without being over obtrusive. The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast which has a good choice, and has drinks and snacks available to buy throughout the day.

Going home.

The location was perfect for us to stay with a car, approximately 15 mins from Niagara Falls. Our room was large, with well equipped facilities and comfortable beds. Parking was free and there was plenty available. The staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast good and the hotel had a large amount of charm. It overlooked Lewiston Landing and the Niagara River with a grass area and benches to watch the water.

No dislikes.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Loved everything, the cleanliness, the quietness, the location. It's like 17 minutes away from the Niagara Falls!! We had an amazing evening at the bar/ restaurant that's just a few walks away from the hotel. The breakfast was healthy and kept us full for a long time. Rooms were very very spacious and so lovely. There is a nice retro touch to this hotel. Highly recommend. Stayed with kids.

I liked everything!

Great location with a good sized room. Buffet breakfast was tasty and reasonable choices.

Room strugged to keep cool, perhaps the AC was temperature limited? Staff did find a fan to help us sleep better the second night. The wi-fi kept dropping out repeatedly, so do not plan on any streaming or meetings. I tried to have a zoom meeting but had to turn off the camera to be able to try and stay connected.

Everything was pretty good. was a nice room with a fireplace and large tv. A really big shower lots of hot water. Much quieter than most hotels. Coffee tea and some snacks avail 24 hours has a little snack market with beer, wine and soda avail for sale too.

Parking could have been better was not able to park near the building. I'm disabled.seemed they only had four disabled parking spaces. Had to park at the bottom of the hill in an avail lot don't know if it's theirs or a public lot but it's a little bit of a walk and up a long set of stairs to the main entrance just a pain after a long day. Also had made a special request for a shorter smaller harder pillow for a back sleeper when I booked. Never happened. Got the big squishy std. feather Pillow. Didn't sleep well. Although nicely carpeted the floors creak and squeek pretty good in the area we were in
