Hosts were cordial and friendly, but not overbearing. They gave guidance on where to park, places to go, and local products. The breakfasts were delicious and enough to hold us over to dinner. Started with fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade granola, OJ, and different fresh baked goods every morning (croissants, blueberry muffins, scones) with local jams. Followed up with hot food - omelet, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, smoked salmon, potato pancakes - something different every day. Open to accommodating food allergies or preferences. Quiet neighborhood and off street parking. Very clean, comfortable room.

Some guests might be put off that you are in the owners' home and share living spaces (entry, yard, sitting room) with them. We enjoyed their company, and had ample privacy and space to relax in our room with ensuite bathroom.

We were so spoiled with delicious home cooked breakfast very morning - cold and hot! Love the omelettes! The location is fantastic - only 15-20mins walk into the main town! And only 5-10 mins drive to so many wineries 👌🏻

This was my first stay in a B & B and it felt like staying in a home away from home. The hostess was very welcoming and gracious. The breakfast was amazingly delicious!!! I wish I remembered to take pictures of the tasty breakfast, but I was too busy enjoying every bite. Our room was clean and comfortable - true to the pictures:) I would not hesitate coming back:D

Lovely breakfasts; relaxed ambience in a quiet part of town; congenial hostess with excellent knowledge of the Shaw plays. No problem with charging our pluggable hybrid car. The distance to the Festival theatres looked slightly more than ideal but wasn't an issue since we could use the ample free parking half way there on King Street.

The owners are very pleasant and accommodating, and are lovely to chat with. There is a resident cat whom I adore, and would sometimes visit at night. The bed was firm enough to support and soft enough to be comfortable. Plenty of pillows, and there were extra blankets in the closet. Bathroom is modern, very clean, has good water pressure and very hot water. The toilet paper is decent 2-ply, not nasty cheap stuff. Breakfast was quite filling, and varied each day. It consisted of a variety of foods:. croissants (home made, I think), home made banana bread, berry filled muffins, back bacon, smoked salmon, waffles, apple pancakes, potato pancakes, baked apples, coffee tea, and orange juice.

There is nothing that I didn't like.

What a wonderful experience at the beautiful city of Niagara on the Lake. The host Daina is very welcoming and the home feels like ‘home away from home’. The home is cozy, clean, and tidy. The friendly black cat Mabel is a great addition to the house. Daina was so generous to provide a breakfast that is tasty, creative, and hearty. We look forward to our next visit to this peaceful community of Niagara on the Lake. It is one of the most beautiful towns we have visited in North America.

Our first breakfast was a tasty omelet with asparagus and a croissant along with homemade jams and our second breakfast was ginger pear pancakes with fruit along with sausages. It was so good we have the recipe. This hit the spot fortifying us for our 4 hour journey home. The conversation with our host was stimulating and interesting. Our host was interested in us and knowledgeable about Niagara on the Lake. The Shaw room was spacious and comfortable with an ensuite and walk in shower.

Nothing really. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. All our needs were met from delicious early morning coffee with Oat milk creamer. Our dietary needs were easily met.

Our hosts Daina and Heinz were wonderful. Dinah's breakfasts were delicious down to the very last bite. Every morning included jams made from the fruit grown in their garden. She also included local ham with our scrambled eggs. Her recommendations for a local farmers market, wineries, and meals were greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again.
