This appears to be a former standard motel style building that was converted so each room now composed of two room side-by-side. On the room we got we had two separate bedrooms, one of those with its own bathroom (there are two bathrooms in the unit), a combined kitchen and living room area. Overall the space has a cabin in the woods type feeling to it, which blends in nicely in the environment it’s in. But just forewarned it’s a little bit on the older side, so expect some rough edges and non-Modern, more utilitarian and spartan design There is also a great breakfast spot across the road and over a short bridge for your morning needs. Shower water, temperature pressure and showerhead height were all good. Wi-Fi didn’t work in one of the bedrooms, despite showing a signal. Though it did work in the rest of the unit (a great place for the kids).

Probably the biggest downside for us were the two main beds, a full and a queen were very hard. A single bed I believe it to be twin size was in the normal bed range of comfort and where I chose to sleep. The couch also has seen better days.

I've known this place for years, I even knew the previous owner. The hotel is always clean and friendly. The owners are very kind. they have a nice layout - there are 2 rooms, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen connected to the dining room. on the 2nd side of the street you can eat the best breakfast in the north (highly recommended!!!) the hotel is in a good location - close to lake placid, keene valley and keene. around major high peaks

I love everything about this place my go to place when we are in the area. Jimmy the at the desk always helpful and accommoding great value great place to stay in the cold months. Two bedrooms full kitchen.

Nothing bad to say really in the summer no AC it gets uncomfortable especially with my service dog.

This is an older motor inn that has a retro feel... However, it is clean, comfortable, and spacious for three people... could have accommodated two more in a stretch... a little off the beaten path with a lovely brook and patios away from the noise of occassional passing cars... Each room had its own toilet and shower. Friendly staff.

The retro feel is charming... A few updates might be nice though.

It was a cute little suite with a stove top and fridge. Made for a convenient stay it was stocked with silverware and dishes. The property was quiet and everyone was super respectful. The staff was also very nice!

The bed was a little uncomfortable but that is typical for a bed when travelling no matter where you stay. Overall a great place to stay! I know where I will be staying next time I travel to the area.

The room was comfy, it needs some repair. I think they are working on fixing things. It certainly looked that way.

The shower leaked water all over the floor. We had plenty of towels so we were able to use them to keep the floor dry.

The property is super cute with great amenities and conveniently located close to Whiteface and a short drive away from Lake Placid. The suite was warm and spacious.

The owners were kind enough to provide me with new pots pans and crockery so I could cook xmas dinner!.

The decor is dated but they seem to be renovating!

We thought it was perfect distance to all of the Olympic sites. My boys loved how the could go right to the river in the morning and fish, my favorite was laying in the bed with the door open listening to the rushing water

Could use updating and a few repairs but overall pleased with space cleanliness and comfort. It exceeded my expectations for a rural and dated roadside motel. Friendly and responsive to questions.
