All of the staff were friendly & helpful. Good location, plenty of parking. Probably the BEST towels I’ve experienced at ANY hotel. Decent water pressure with plenty of hot water. Great air conditioner. Appreciated the lending library in the lobby and left a donation of a book & puzzle.

The mattresses were a little on the firm side and really loud. Not sure if they were in a protective sleeve or something, but every movement echoed in the room (my friend& I found it humorous, but others may not). The refrigerator didn’t seal properly & water collected on the shelves & ruined some of our food.

Close to the beach, room was on first floor and close to the exit for convenient loading and unloading vehicle, rooms are perfect size. We LOVED the coffee!

Found a cockroach in the bathroom first night, and 2 more the third morning. Desk attendant said they were not cockroaches, that they were water bugs. Water bugs ARE cockroaches. It was real fun going through all of our things while packing up, to be sure we did not take any home with us. Because of the diseases they carry, we should've at least been given a free night, or a good discount off of our stay. We were refunded 20% for our last night, which was better than nothing. I really like this hotel, but I think the cockroaches should be taken more seriously. Also, the room was not decorated like the one I stayed in back in 2019. Nothing on the walls. Not "beachy" at all. Nowhere to put towels or clothes to dry.

The room and facility was beyond clean and in good repair. It was updated and pretty. Though small, the bathroom was updated with a modern shower and hardware. We enjoyed the spacious design where we had a place to sit and watch TV away from our bed.

The bed is a little stiff but not a deal breaker. We would have liked an ottoman or footstool for the sofa area. Though there were blackout curtains on the windows it was hung too far away and morning light was pouring in around the edges. It was a little hard to sleep past sunrise.

I really loved the way the staff made us feel welcome. I love the gazebo and the fact that you can watch the boats come in and out. And just enjoy the mornings and evenings sitting by the water.

The only complaint I had is when we got to the room we found a couple of large dead roaches behind the nightstand. There were ants eating the remains. Was a little disgusting, especially to my girlfriend. I did clean it up and had no more issues. Overall, the stay was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely be back.

It’s a cozy little hotel! We enjoyed our room and spent a good amount of time at the nice gazebo facing the sound. We enjoyed how we were a 13 minute walk from the beach so could save a little on parking. Also the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed seeing all the little crabs and wild life that were in the sound as well.

It’s definitely an older hotel so the plumbing wasn’t great and the AC was pretty loud. Also we found some bees in the pool. Not make or break and didn’t ruin the experience.

Great location with a short boardwalk to a gazebo on the water. Also a short drive to the beach. Loved having a small sitting area with a comfortable couch and convenient side tables. The kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, sink, and counter gave some flexibility for some simple meals. The bathroom was small but workable, and the shower had great water pressure.

The curtains should be bigger, our room faced the road, and we had to carefully place the curtains to make sure there wasn’t a gap at night for privacy.

The bottled water, nice and cold, was a perk! Everything we needed was available. We were asked to bring towels to exchange for new ones. When none were available at the front desk, the attendant went all the way to the storage area to retrieve some for us. Every staff encounter was met with a smile.

The bed was not the most comfortable. Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator, but some plastic silverware or even paper towels would have been nice.

I liked the pool, the water pressure was great. The room decorations were amazing as well as the fridge and sink and coffee pot. And the beds were actually comfy

Not enough pillows on the beds. Used the ones from the couch. The shower head was grimey I told the staff they said they'd take care of it. But I ended up having to go buy my own tilex bathroom cleaner and clean it myself. I left it clean like it should have been when I got there. And I also didn't like the fact their fire alarm system was extremely out of date and kept going off. I was there 2 nights and 3 days and the fire alarm went off 2x and we had to evacuate each time. Firefighters said they are there at least 1x a week.

Overall stay was very good. Priced very well, staff was nice, hotel and room were clean, walking distance from beach and shops.

No service to rooms. You had to take dirty towels, rags, etc to front desk for them to swap with new ones. There was a day we went to the beach early, came back and got in the pool, and wanted to shower and head to dinner. Around 4, I went to swap out towels and they told me I had to leave my room number and they would text when towels were available. As I walked back I pasted a room service cart and could see clean towels on the cart, so I asked the lady if I could get just 2 towels and she told me there were none available and I would have to put my name on the list and wait for a text message.

Lynn was the bomb diddy 💕she really takes time and take care of her of her guest!!! luv ya gurl!!😘 Best manager Evera will return. Rooms well decorated, Holtel was clean even though construction was going on. Loved the onsite gas grill. OH!! we can't forget them cookies OMG hot and good, but only on the weekend😒. Best part of all the alphabet store (ABC) is "cross" the street (70 feet). not across, cause that how you going to feel lol.

When I asked another worker if I could stay another night and she stated that they didn't have any more without checking, but I went online and got one?
