The staff are absolutely wonderful. We left an iPad behind by mistake and they called to not only let us know but also offered to ship it us. Luckily we were passing through on our way back and we’re able to pick it up/stay another night. Very welcoming, helpful, and warm. Comfortable room, the king suite was large and the set up made it feel more homey than most hotels. You get a cute little basket of water and snacks as well as a welcome note/candies waiting on the pillows. Again, special day touches that aren’t done much anymore in generic hotels. The indoor pool was also great.

The breakfast was not the best, definitely something that could be improved upon.

The place is absolutely beautiful during Christmas time. The wood cabin vibe was awesome. When we arrived they had our names in a key holder with our name on it. We had a printed welcome letter on our bed, and good bye letter given under our door upon check out. The heated pool was well kept had towels on the arm of every chair. The staff went over and beyond to make sure our stay was great! Very convenient to the interstate. The rooms were stocked with your unconventional complimentary items such as popcorn, packs of crackers, bottles of water, and more. We had the king suite which included a full kitchen with all the kitchen items, and our king room was separate from the living space that had a pull out bed. Everyone was incredibly gracious and helpful during our stay.

The wi-fi was spotty. It barely worked on my phone. I did get it to work on my laptop as I had some work to do while I was there. The televisions weren't super clear. They need to upgraded to the type of cable that is being used. The breakfast didn't include a waffle maker or fruit. Those would be a great add on from the hotel.

The breakfast was Awesome. The whole experience was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was terrific. The beds were very comfortable. Very clean and smelled fresh and clean. It had a kitchen that was better than mine at home.I would highly recommend this spot to everyone The grounds were also amazing, waterfalls, courtyard and plenty of room to walk your pets. Also the television was huge unlike the usual small ones in other places we've been.

I can't think of anything that I would change.

I had high expectations...and they were met! Super clean. Our studio room had an entire kitchen in it! Beds were super comfy and we didn't hear a sound all night. We slept like logs. If you're traveling Interstate 26, the hotel is just one minute (or less) from 26 with a Waffle House and ABC store next door. If you stay here, don't miss Jump Off Rock...a lovely place to watch the sunset and relax after your drive.

The decor is a bit dated and the breakfast had no bread or fresh fruit. But these are easy give-ups for a hotel this clean, friendly, quiet, convenient, and with such unbeatable value.

Staff are awesome, that is one reason we come back here at least twice a year. The entire overall feel of the The lodge, it was like being at home. You could be in your room, downstairs having a coffee or just sitting in the main area witha good book and a roaring fireplace.

I have only two items I did not like during our stays each year. one would be breakfast, it falls in the middle of the road. I feel that breakfast is a huge part of any stay so it should have a good selection and be as fresh as possible. Secondly, the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint. Colors that are some what brighter than they have now.

Very happy with the entire stay. Loved that there were ceiling fans in all the rooms and mini kitchens for our meals. All of our needs, including having rooms beside each if possible - which they did - and questions were answered. The staff was extremely friendly and kind and able to answer all of our "touristy" questions and always with a smile on their face! We were on a family trip and enjoyed the indoor pool since it was so cold.

NO complaints here - if I were being picky - a bigger pool and a jacuzzi After reading some reviews, we were a little hesitant but loved the look of the lodge and location for us to do the things we wanted. However, we had no issues and HIGHLY recommend staying here.. We WILL be back!

Taylor, at the front desk reception, was wonderful from the first day we walked in. She was very helpful advising us of good places to eat lunch and dinner. Always greeting us with a smile and kindness. The entire staff was wonderful. Stephanie and Sonia always had a smile for us in the morning at breakfast and they both were amazing making sure everything was clean and tidy and well stocked. The main manager, Scott I think was his name, was very nice too. It is a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay very much.

There was no vent in the bathroom (just an observation, not a hardship)

Staff went out of their way to make one's stay an exceptional experience. From the personal note on the key card holder to the welcome letter with mints on the bed, to the enjoyable conversation, all made my stay a memorable and extraordinary visit.

I would have preferred window coverings that provided full privacy and darkness in the room. As sheer curtains only could be drawn to cover the entire window, a well-lit parking lot brought much bright light into the room at night and still left me feeling a bit exposed.

We have stayed here mnay times over the last few years. We feel in love with the setting of the hotel, mountains, has gardaen waterfall, log cabin feel in the main entry way. Staff are all wonderfull and accomidating all your needs. We like our privacy and we get that here.

As I have said we love staying here but it couyld do with some updates. Interior and rooms a little dated.Breakfast could be better. I have stayed at chain hotels that serve full buffet style breakfaast for less per night.
