Location, clean rooms, common room for playing games

Staff. Not friendly. Cold and should have been more accommodating. We booked online and were traveling in same vehicle with friends. They were placed at the “annex”. Well guess what…the Annex Is a five minute drive away from the main location (where our room was). When asked to put us together it was $80 more PER NIGHT. Cold and lack of compassion for sure. Unpleasant surprise when visiting what we thought was a warm family owned facility (we have family owned businesses and try NOT to be this way)

Beds were comfortable, we stayed on the bottom floor around back and could park right in front of the door , so convenient to carry things in , I was concerned about noise from the room above but we never heard anything. Maybe nobody was staying in that room but it was very quiet, beautiful view of Amish country , convenient to shops in Berlin , easy to walk around.

I did not like the $50 incidental fee , Of course we got it back a couple days later , but I think that’s a bit high , what is it even for ? Used to be long distance calls , or buying snacks in the room 😟 Don’t have that anymore

Very nice place..we stayed in the Carlisle..it’s a please that looks like a two story home (not the pictures brick) we checked in at Berlin Heritage and then drove about a 1/2 mile to East Street and stayed in what looked like a home that was hello/tan colored..was charming, only thing different I would recommend to the property is they need an end table on the other side of the bed as we had to scoot a chair from the table to beside the bed to be able to have a place to put the phone, keys, water ect..and the room did not have a microwave which we could’ve used…did t really like having to drive back to where we checked in for a breakfast that had sandwiches to heat up, biscuits and sausage gravy, boiled eggs, cereal, and bagels and u could make your own waffle, would’ve been nice to have had some scrambled/fried eggs and either sausage or bacon..

The room needed another end table as there was one on one side but not the other and we thought they had a microwave but did not although there was a small fridge..be sure to take u some bottled water as the water tastes like iron water and there is no ice machine on the property..breakfast could’ve been better with some scrambled/fried eggs and some bacon\sausage..all in all was very clean, no roaches seen, bed was comfy but reminded me of a water bed as it seemed when u turned over u rolled to another part of the bed…was quiet and would stay there again, just remember u have to go back to the Berlin Heritage to check in as this property was not at that hotel and u had to drive back there for breakfast as well

The room was spotless. The breakfast was great, although the person that worked the breakfast for you was not friendly at all as a matter of fact, she was pretty miserable. And she was miserable at the front desk as well.

I was really hoping for a nice hot breakfast, rather than just toast and bagels and waffles. In my travels, I find that most hotels have gone back to a hot breakfast. Your website states that you serve a delicious hot breakfast but I didn’t find that to be true. Covid was almost 4 years ago. I think we’re over that.!

The location is wonderful. Convert to everything in Berlin. The people were very pleasant at our arrival. She showed us around explaining things about the breakfast. Times it was serving. We found a beautiful deck just through the dining room. Beautiful view. There isn't a bad view. Our room was very clean beds comfortable. You do need to replace the pillows. (Or bring your own). When asking for more towels etc they were right there! Very good service. I will stay there again. Thank you to all the nice employees

The pillows are horrible. Lumpy. Toilet is very close to the door. A large person may have difficulty going in and getting out of the restroom. Otherwise the place is top-notch

The breakfast was wonderful, they had the most amazing food and everything is labeled so that you know how to cook/heat it up. I loved that little extra touch. The room was very clean and felt like no one had stayed there before us.

The only thing that we didn't love was that if you are checking in after 7 you have to call and set something up. And all the restaurants close around 7. If we had not had to be there by 7 we could have had time to get to one of the restaurants. No big deal, but it would have been nicer if we could have went to one of the local fairs. We ended up going back to Millersburg to eat. We could have called but didn't realize the food establishments all closed at 7 also.

Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is in a fabulous location and is a great value for the money. The front desk staff are wonderful, kind and so accommodating. Appreciated the tea, hot chocolate, and coffee available 24 hours (but the coffee was terrible). The room was cool because it had a door to the outside and a door to the interior hallway so you didn't have to go outside. The king mattress could be replaced sometime soon. For the most part, we would stay here again.

Room was fine. AC/heat easy to manage, quiet, reliable. Breakfast was well organized. Four hour window.....with many choices similar to other hotel buffets.. Available on Sunday, unlike other Amish hotels/stores/restaurants in the area.

Like many other lodging places, shower/bath faucet was a bit of a puzzle. I could not change from one to other despite diagram help. Maybe problem with my hand strength. Helpful front desk person demonstrated, then offered to come turn it on for me.

The Heritage Inn was perfect!! Couldn’t recommend enough! Breakfast was delicious! I had a bagel, yogurt, and a muffin. It was individually wrapped with all the “fixins” there. They had a toaster & cream cheese for the bagel, granola for the yogurt, & the muffins were huge! Super friendly staff and very clean rooms! The shower was nice, they included a shower mat rolled up that you could put in there to avoid any falls, the location is great. I honestly could keep going and going.

The only small complaints that I would have is when you arrive, you check in at the desk in the lobby where they require you to pay a $50 deposit. That was a little surprising, but understandable. We booked on at Monday night, checked out on Tuesday and it is now Friday of the same week and they haven’t released our $50 deposit yet. The only other thing I would suggest is to book on the “lower level” if you’re looking for privacy. We booked a room on the main level, which landed us a room right beside of the lobby. Breakfast was served in the lobby area which means trying to sleep in was nearly impossible. I would 100% book this location again!

We love, love, love Berlin Heritage Inn. This is “our place” every time we visit the area. The facility is welcoming, clean, beautiful and in a great location. The breakfast is perfect.

For the first time in our many stays we were disturbed by loud people very late at night (2 separate nights). On the second night, I reached out to the staff and they very quickly located the room and resolved the problem ❤️
