We've stopped here multiple times on our way from Virginia to Michigan and enjoyed it every single time. It was much more than we expected and Kathy and Marc have always been very kind and welcoming. We especially love that it is NOT a hotel room and doesn't have a television. The biggest bonus is the walking distance proximity to the shops and restaurants in Canal Winchester so that we can unload from our trip then get some fresh air and exercise on our way to get a meal.

The only complaints I can think of are that the toilet seat doesn't stay up due to the design of the bathroom and shelving--but this is not a big deal at all. And as someone who likes firmer mattresses, the mattresses have been a little too soft for my comfort, but my wife and kids did not mind.

The Guest House is a beautiful historical home in a lovely neighborhood. It has a quaint little parlor when you enter the home for hanging out and relaxing. The rooms are cozy and have several amenities, including shampoo and shower gel dispensers in the shower. They also provided water bottles, cookies and danish!! We thought that was a nice touch! Karen and Mark are get hosts and responded promptly to all our questions! We thought it was a great value and would definitely stay here again!

The staff went above and beyond. Their communication before, during and following our departure was exceptional. They left us a goodie bag, information on the area, restaurants, bars, things to do, etc. They even communicated with us and let us know that if we forgot something or need something to not hesitate to reach out to them.

Nothing. If I HAD to say something, the air did not work great, but that could have been user error as well :-)

My upstairs room was comfy and private. The bed was very comfortable. With only four rooms the guest house is a nice quiet place to stay. I spent two weeks there while attending a nearby workshop.

The fridge was small and not cold enough.

It was so thoughtful of the hosts to provide a bag with water and baked goods, although honestly the cookie I had was just OK, so I didn’t try the roll. But it was a very nice gesture. Liked the books and guides, history of the house, comfortable bed, and the obvious care taken to give us a good experience. Nearby restaurants and neighborhood were wonderful.

The toilet paper was extremely thin, and the one lamp between the beds was fairly dim, so I couldn’t read in bed.

This guest house is immaculate. Clean and comfortable and it felt ‘like home’ the moment we walked it. There were treat bags on the bed when we arrived which was a nice touch. It was easy to find in a beautiful neighborhood. The owners go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. The self check in is smooth as you receive your instructions prior to check in time. We will definitely stay here when visiting the area.

We've stayed here twice and have really enjoyed each visit. It was just what we needed for our family of 4 and having it walking distance from downtown Canal Winchester has been such a treat. It's a beautiful small town with plenty of options for food, a park for the kids and more. The owners are very friendly and everything was just as we expected if not better.

It ticks all of the boxes for us, so no complaints.

This place is so cute. Very home away from home. We were greeted by Marc, the owner. Who was so nice and gave us a little bit of history. Then later, my daughter talked to Kathy, who seemed equally as nice. The rooms are cute and cozy. With a little drink cart. Which offered coffee, tea, water and oatmeal cream pies. Such a nice touch. There were tables and a firepit outside for guests to use. There are no tv's in the rooms. Which we did not know until after we booked. But made due. It was actually nice to unplug. And although there is central ac, they offer a wall unit for you to set at your desired temp. Which was great. Kathy and Marc are both very personable and give the feeling more of welcoming "friends" as opposed to guests. Overall, it was a great stay. I wish we could have stayed a little longer. I highly recommend.

The only negative is, I had the room on the 1st floor, right next to the parlor room. If anyone had conversation, I could hear every word. Luckily, remembering that I was in there, the conversation was carried to another room. Which was considerate. As I had an early flight.

This is a historical house turn into a guesthouse that is charming, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the little downtown bars and restaurants with friendly people all around. The owners are very accessible and live in the same lot, and they are such nice people.

Somehow a small room packs a punch with storage and creature comforts. The roll of paper towels was key in cleaning up after our kids. The coat rack was sturdy. Loved the window AC, itty bitty frig, microwave and charging station.

There seemed to be a wasp nest in large bush along the route to the entry from parking. We avoided it so all was well.
