Amy and her staff were VERY friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions. Our suite was free of pests and our children enjoyed the outdoor area.

While the rooms were clear of pests - no trace of spiders, ants, bedbugs, etc - my children discovered several remnants of previous guest under/behind furniture during hide and seek. Also, there were some things that were broken (the pull out bed of the sofa) or not working properly (the bathroom fan, and then the kitchen freezer that stopped working half way through our stay) that needed looked at or replaced. Amy had not been aware of these issues, and assured us she was taking action.

The location is super cute!!!! Right across from the lake, you can hear the waves crashing while you sleep 😴 room was decent size for 4 people, esp for what we needed it for. We went to Cedar point over the weekend so we just needed somewhere to lay our heads after. Was about a 38 mins drive from Cedar Point, so a little far but not bad esp for the price for 2 nights. Beds were actually SUPER comfy. They supply ice in a little cooler outside u can grab if you need it. There was A TV with cable, coffee maker, a little chair and 2 full beds. Shower was a little small but like I said, perfect or what we needed. You can see cedar point from the lake shore if you go down to the benches. It is not a beach area but still so wonderful to hear the waves crashing and I recommend going outside at night to see Cedar Point all lit up. If you turn left out of the Motel, there is a little Laketown where you can go get coffee at Coffee and Cream, do some shopping and get a little of the lake life. We stopped at a little soap shop called Marblehead Soap Company after we got coffee and I definitely recommend stopping in!! So many organic options from soap to face creams, local honey and so much more. I highly recommend staying here, the owner was soooo friendly and we were able to check In late, she just left the keys for us. 5/5⭐

Honestly, not really anything I didn't like for my stay here.

No breakfast here. Beautiful views from the front of motel with Adirondack chairs to sit in and sip your made in room coffee. Plenty of outside seating and a quaint older but refurbished motel. Our room was darling, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom was handicap acceptable...a plus for us . The owners are very nice !

The front door inside had some paint issues that need immediate attention. Bath towels needed replaced. Sams or Costco sells really nice ones for about $6-7 ea. and would make a huge difference to your guests. You are off to a good start !!! Really liked this place and would like to see it be a hit !

Location was wonderful, walk across the road to the lake and could hear the waves from our room. Easy check-in. Decent parking, had a yard with lawn chairs and firepit for guests to gather. Quiet neighborhood. Close to other activities, could see cedar point across the lake just down the road.

would have liked rugs on the floor to make it warmer and cozy. Bathroom does not have ventilation and mold is on the walls. Couch is small and kind of comfortable, bed mattresses are covered in plastic wrap and very noisy when adjusting in bed.

The location was phenomenal! The view of Lake Erie was perfection. Literally super comfortable and welcoming. The owners are the kindest and sweetest people, and their dogs are super cute too. They treat you like they want to be treated and that it very important.

Only thing I'd recommend is having extra pillows on the beds, and extra blankets for the beds. Some people are the type who get colder and need extra blankets. Other than that, they legitimately need to just keep being amazing.

What an amazing place to stay at, affordable, clean, friendly and the views of lake Erie just jawdropping.One of the best places to see the sunrise, or make Smores with the fire pit provided by the owners. They also have grills on sight. It is about 25 min from Cedar point and 10 from the downtown area. I didn't bring my pole but also a great place to fish. The owners are friendly and help you out with any questions or concerns, definitely would stay here again

I should have stayed longer.

Location along one of the 5 Great Lakes, Lake Erie, was the attraction to the location as well as just a short drive to Cedar Point One of the Best Amusement parks in the country. This location had a very New England feel with a Great Lake in place of an Ocean. The room was maintained well with great water pressure and a bright clean beach cabin ambience . A small adorable " wood burning stove" space heater was very clever and appreciated.

I wish we stayed one more night.

Our stay at Lake Point Motel was wonderful!! Great location. Close to the ferrys and most attractions!! Our visits to Put-in-Bay were great...especially the Jelly Roll concert!! 20,000 people on the island!! It was unreal!!! Above all...the managers Mike and Amy are the most friendly and helpful folks! They were fabulous!! Next time we are renting one of the mobile homes there. All you need for a fun filled vacation!!!

Great spot right across from the lake, very close drive to the lighthouse (can even take a nice walk to it). Pleasant staff, and the easiest check-in I've ever had. The bed was very comfortable. Even with back problems, I had a good night's sleep. Great place for an overnight stop on my road trip, had everything I needed.

Saw a little bit of mold on the ceiling over the shower, so I left the window open to air out the bathroom. Other than that, a very clean and tidy room.

This motel gets a huge thumbs up from me! While the clean room, the comfy bed, and the lake view were all fantastic, it was truly the management family that made the stay exceptional. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience. A special shout-out to Amy, Mike, and Payton! Their genuine kindness, warmth, and care always makes me feel right at home.
