The location was ideal, right off of I-77 and 5 minutes from downtown Marietta. We accessed Parkersburg (15 minutes away) and North Bend State Park (35 minutes). Although lacking in variety, the breakfast was good with waffles, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, yogurts, tea and coffee. It was surprisingly quiet, as we stayed here over New Year's Eve night. Very good value -under $50 a night!

Although it was adequately cleaned, needed dusting and thorough cleaning as my sinuses drove me crazy. I noticed lots of pets in other rooms. The hotel felt a little run down - needed a cover on our bathroom light. It is a long walk from the far end of the building to the front desk. There is no restaurant at the hotel as it has been closed for a while.

The gentleman Robert who was working the front desk was super friendly and extremely helpful. The first room we were given was horrible for the stench of cigarette smoke. We didn’t even make it past opening the door. Robert instantly switched our room and was extremely emphatic. The beds were comfortable (we slept like a rock) and the shower pressure was fantastic. The housekeeper who swung by in the morning was a doll and super friendly. I wish I caught her name but I do remember she was wearing a hot pink shirt with light brown hair. I would recommend this property 100%

The property had thick dust in the vents within the room and inside the light fixtures within the bathroom.

I liked the price and the location. It was clean. Our room didn't have any odors. It's the quietest motel room I've ever had, and we were 1 room away from the ice and vending machines. The staff was very friendly. We booked a handicapped accessible suite with 2 double beds. It was roomy and wide enough for wheelchair use in the bathroom and to the bed or desk. The television had lots of channels, including ones for kids. Our room had a mini fridge that worked. Our microwave also worked. We didn't try the coffee maker, iron, or hair dryer. The room heated up very quickly and stayed warm. The temp outside when we stayed was 21 degrees with a windchill of 12. The breakfast they have available is coffee, tea, apple, and orange juices. They have a waffle maker set up. They also have bagels, yogurt, fruits, and sausage egg and cheese biscuits to heat in the microwave. They also have packets of condiments, syrup, cream cheese, jelly, and others. I will also add that the hotel seemed to be pretty packed judging by the parking lot. Overall, I would choose to stay in the same room again.

So what I didn't care for was that our shower had a rubber? Plastic? Hose. So, there are no adjustments. Whoever did the paint job needs to refund them money. There was paint on the curtain, light globes, and on some edges of the furniture. Very slap dash. But that didn't affect our sleeping. So...

Rooms are good value for price. Overall was clean. Beds were comfortable.

The AC unit had only 1 speed, low. It took forever to cool the room. The AC unit was very noisy turning on and off. The telephone was older than dirt and did not work. Underneath the bathroom sink was nasty looking.. The bathtub faucet dripped constantly. The bathtub did not drain well. The caulking around the tub/shower was poorly done with missing pieces.

Property was clean and huge. Our room was large and beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was actually very decent and well tended to keep everything restocked in a large room.

Our roomed reeked of cigarette smoke even though all rooms were supposed to be non smoking. We informed the desk but there were no other available rooms. We tolerated the horrible smell since it was just one night.

In terms of hotels under $75, this was a stand out! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms were large and the AC great. Just remember that you're getting a budget hotel and you won't be disappointed! The location was just off the highway with a Starbucks sharing the parking lot and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Downtown Marietta was a short drive away, as well as all the great riverfront activities.

Staff was wonderful. Hallway and room was clean. Bed was comfortable and linens were fresh and clean.Surprisinly quiet for being right next to the main highway. A/C worked GREAT and quickly cooled the room down. Bathroom was spotless and water pressure was good as well.

Extetior doors were propped open allowing anyone to walk into the building where the rooms are. Ceiling in our room had large stains from water leakage at some point.

Chrissy was super friendly and extremely helpful!!! She made our stay fun and comfortable! She quickly took care of my requests for extra towels (which I unfortunately had to use to clean up a flooded floor later...) and for extra sugar and cream for coffee.

I required a walk in shower, which was available, however it flooded the entire bathroom floor. Used all the extra towels to clean up the flooding... Also you really need to provide more sugar and cream as well as coffee in rooms. I get that there's breakfast available but I just want a couple of cups of coffee.

I stayed at this property many times a few years ago, it seemed cleaner this trip and better maintained but....

.....this location used to have a very good breakfast with several hot protein options such as eggs, bacon and/or sausage. This time however the only protein option was a prepackaged frozen breakfast sandwich that had to be microwaved. Very disappointing. I also seem to remember the bed being more comfortable last time but I've gotten used to lesser expensive hotels having firm and uncomfortable beds.

I rode my motorcycle for a small getaway to cruise around Wayne National Park. It was a perfect location to easily get to the roads I wanted. The staff was awesome, the gentleman that checked me in was professional and I was earlier than the rush, so he was able and asked me my preference on what floor and I had questions about the area and without hesitation, he took the time to give me recommendations to what I was looking for. I use to travel for work and I wake insanely early. In the past, if I needed something in the middle of the night ( coffee packs for the room) I could never find the employee. In this hotel, I went to the counter at about 4am and the employee was right at the desk and was happy to help.

Ok, so this is a good hotel for the price. Yes, it is a lower cost hotel so of course it is not a luxury hotel. I could tell that they are maintaining it the best they can.
