The place was awesome even if the pool was not available this year the hot tub was and they made a good choice in keeping that during the remodel

dinner options and breakfast options are always limited at Timberline. The café at the day lodge is pretty bleak for breakfast and sporadic as to what is offered it is always confusing to me. The Cascade dining room is top notch and the bar food is great bar food but there’s nothing to just walk up and feed my children breakfast or dinner other than the sandwiches and potato chips they need a better middle menu The hot chocolate and cocktails are off the charts wonderful

Exceptional hotel built in the WPA days of the Great Depression. Really amazing job, everything was hand made by Civilian Conservation Corps workers.

The hotel does not offer any type of casual dining, only a sit-down restaurant with fairly high prices and (to me) an odd, overly fussy menu. It would be much better if the restaurant were both a little less chef-oriented and less expensive. They should offer family-friendly food options somewhere within the hotel, even if only in the basement or other out of the way location. In my view it is not acceptable to tell guests they must drive to a gas station at the base of the mountain to get casual food.

Food was good. Beds comfortable. The location and lodge itself were beautiful. The people were always friendly.

The price for what we recieved was way too high. The area around the lodge never got snow swept and my car almost slid down the hill just driving in the parking lot. All water is from the tap and tastes like it has been kept in a large plastic barrel. The priciest rooms have 20 inch tvs and my bed broke on the 2nd night. Food was so expensive I felt like I was being held hostage for 80 dollar meals. The vending machines were 4 dollars for any beverage, and 3 dollars for any snack. I saved up for months and overdrafted on the 2nd day.

Easy check in, room well appointed, and clean. Large shower with plenty of hot water. Nice staff.

Bathroom doesn't have much storage, but was expected, given the age of the hotel. Our room did get fairly hot, but we also knew it didn't have A/C.

We love the grandness and history. The craftsmanship that went into building such a large lodge and of course being on top of a mountain is seriously epic!

We stayed in one of the chalets with bunkbeds and were only given a miniature pillow each bed. Thankfully we found someone to request more but again all tiny pillow. If we had known we would have packed our own, but for $175 I think we deserve each a pair of standard sized pillow!

Beautiful opportunity to stay in the historic Timberline Lodge, with excellent amenities that are expected of the current century. The hot water never seems to run out. The Cascade Dining room has good food, and better drinks. The staff was very friendly, allowing me to use laundry facilities for free. I was in the lowest cost room, with shared bathroom facilities (which were plentiful compared to the number of rooms -not at all like a college dorm), so I was grateful to be able to use the other amenities (spa, hot tub) at no extra cost. Also, the woman at the gift shop gifted me postcard stamps. Incredible.

My room was far too hot, and there was no way I could ajust the thermostat in my little room. It will be really cozy once winter sets in. However, in October, it was a bit too much. I had to put the fan on next to my bed.

The staff we interacted with were all exceptional. Friendly, knowledgable, and inclined to say yes. What more could anyone ask for.

More salad selections in both the Ram and the Cascade dining room. I had to be out the door for work at 6:30 am each day. There is nothing open that I found. It would have been nice to be able to get hot water to make my tea.

The room was OK size, it was warm while we were staying there, so we ad our room door and window open when we were in the room. Breakfast was fabulous. The lox, smoked salmon, and eggs were beautifully prepared and delicious.

our room was warm, too warm for me. And the power went out so we were unable to use the pool, sauna or hot tub, which we planned to use.

Historic site. Location. Old rooms kept in decor of the time. Excellent if pricey breakfast buffet. Good value for money. Helpful staff.

Soft beds. Cafe and restaurant food was uninspired.
