Can count on a warm, clean & comfortable place to stay.

Reserved an ADA Disability room as I normally do. Due to mobility concerns & having a documented disability. When I arrived, the room was not available. The Associate was not concerned and said I could request an ADA room the next day. Chose to stay in the room I was already in for the remainder of my stay. I believe if I were in a wheelchair. This situation would not have occurred.

Overall it is pretty quiet minus the helicopters every 20 minutes that fly over the top of the building that's from the airport here in troutdale they have four helicopters that do that all day long and into the night but it's not too bad it's the train that might scare the crap out of you in the middle of the night when they honk the horns but other than that this is much better than most of the motel 6 is out there I've stayed at a lot of them and I got to say that some of them are pretty run down and disgusting but overall the front staff they hire is usually on point which is the same here the front staff I'm pretty impressed with

I didn't like the fact that when I came in last night the night audit lady which I've never seen her before which was strange but had a customer in there at the front counter and she yelled at me to get out she was supposed to lock the doors a while ago and pushed me out while there was still a customer inside all I was going to do was get an ice bucket and she was very rude and mean about it which it's a surprise because most of the staff are really cool not this lady

What I did like was everything is low-key staff seems to appreciate us as we are customers unlike some of the other motels

And when I don't like is nothing I'm going to have the curtains open only because when you're sitting inside and the staff housekeeping walks by they always turn and look inside your room so the privacy issue there could be a little different but the people who usually stay at the motels I've never had issues with them really looking in the room they kind of know how it feels other than that it's all cool

The other occupants smoking in the rooms. Occupants also do not clean up after pets as well as they should. It shouldn't be the motel staff's responsibility to clean up after your pet. Be grateful they allow pets.

Staff and management went above and beyond the standard customer service meeting and exceeding all expectations I have a service dog that was treated especially well. I recommend this hotel to anyone needing a safe peaceful haven.

Rooms were clean and the outdoor pool was clean and open for use. I paid half of what I would have anywhere else in the Portland metro area and I feel like I hit the hotel savings lottery

Staff did the bare minimum at reception and when checking in and out. Staff were not the most friendly but still managed to be polite.

I was in the hospitality industry for 17 plus year. Actually an MOD at this particular location for many moons. I recently checked in during the wee( audit) hours due to an unexpected event. It took me down memory lane for sure. However, it was nice to see the remodeled version of M6 but most of all enjoyed the conversation; with the young man that checked me in. I overheard him saying it was his 2nd day on the job and I have to admit he did great. I was impressed and kudos! Also, really enjoyed the GM she was training and very receptive to convo. Thanks for leaving the light on!

Swamp coolers. . . I know it’s an old building and impossible to convert but the AC still runs like a swap cooler.

The employees are all extremely friendly and helpful.Katelynn went above and beyond!! Its nice that they have Security at night. It gives a feel of that things are safe!!

Woman that checked me in was just so pleasant. I inadvertently left the dome light on in my car and security came and found me so I didn't have a dead battery the next morning! Wow!

Would have appreciated a coffee maker. Was surprised their were NO toiletries.

This motel is fabulous! It's a good value for the money and the staff is awesome. The location is unbeatable. It's close to the freeway, bus stop, restaurants, and shopping facilities.
