The building restoration is amazing. I loved that some original features were maintained. The size of the suite was awesome! I really liked having a full sized refrigerator/freezer, especially since we were there for a PSU football weekend and had food to take to a tailgate. The location in Bellefonte was excellent--a quick and easy 15 minute ride to State College. Also, Bellefonte is changing in a good way since I lived in this area as a child!

Everything was great--except that hike up the stairs with heavy suitcases. It would have been nice to have an elevator option if it was still possible to maintain the historical features of the building. I thought not having a front desk would be weird, but the self check in and electronic entry to the rooms/suites worked very well.

The Inn was very quaint; well decorated, the room was very comfortable, bed was perfect for me ( 0n the soft side) It was clean. The little kitchenette was well stocked with dishes etc. Very cute. When I got there I was greeted by one of the wait staff in the bar, who was very nice and helpful. The room was quiet in spite of having a bar and restaurant downstairs.

For older people ( Like me) there is no elevator and my room was 3 floors up. Parking on the weekends was difficult as the restaurant/bar was crowded. I had to wait for someone to leave so I could park on Saturday night. They should have dedicated guest parking for each room. Bellefont is not convenient to State College, there were no stores and very ew restaurants nearby. There is no front desk and no one to notify if there are problems.. like not being able to find a parking spot.. There is no where close to eat breakfast, but the little kitchenette was fine if you bring breakfast food such as oatmeal or yogurt..

The rooms are beautiful. Each bedroom had a comfortable king size bed. We had plenty of towels. The living room and kitchen made a great space for the family to hang out. We used the kitchen to make dinner and breakfast. The location is perfect. You have direct access to a beautiful Victorian park.

Just be aware that is a centuries old building so there is no elevator. Also, while the kitchen has a lot, it doesn’t have a pan or spatula, so it’s hard to make pancakes in the morning.

The place was very nice - cool old historic vibe with modern décor. Comfortable and good to have the little frig and coffee maker. Enjoyed all the old pictures and information posted around. Bar and restaurant looked fun but we did not try them.

There was not enough lighting in the place and the bathroom needed more room for towels and kit bags. Also the shower door did not seal well.

This is a fabulous location, a short walk to a great coffee and breakfast place and the local town. the restaurant and bar on site are a terrific addition. i would definitely stay here again. The room is spacious and had more than what we needed for the space.

Super comfy bed and loved the kitchenette. Loved that my room was private and by itself and so close to the restaurant and bar. Definitely recommend and will come back.

I wish the bar upstairs was not open so late on week days. The night before I left for my 11 hour commute home there was a lot of shouting, stomping, and loud noises upstairs until around 11:30 PM and I could not sleep :(

I expected to be able to find a few photo-shopped areas in the apartment but I found none! It is gorgeous, beds were comfortable, it's spacious. The whole building is gorgeous and clean.

The listing should mention there is no elevator. Also, I'm a plump woman, the towels didn't full cover my goods

The property was unique with its room set-up, and combination of wood and industrial features. The surrounding town area was quaint, and easy to walk to from the inn. The restaurant staff was exceptionally friendly.

I was disappointed to see an additional $40 cleaning charge per room (we had 2) added to my bill a few days before we left. I would stay again, but would wait to reserve, as I found the base cost to be significantly less expensive a couple days before the trip. Unfortunately, waiting wasn’t an option for this trip.

The architecture of the building was absolutely stunning. It gave us a place to stay that we didn't have to squeeze around our beds. The rooms were large. The views, and the creek side walking area was a bonus. Everything we needed was within walking distance.

Luckily we are in good shape, so lugging our stuff up many flights of stairs was doable. Another TV would have been helpful, as we brought children with us, so cartoons were on the TV, until then went to bed. The Creekside restaurant was very nice, but seemed to be suffering, like most institutions, lately, with lack of help

The design is elegant.

bizarre that MSNBC does not exist on the television. You wasted 30 minutes of my time trying to find it. You may love Donald Trump, it doesn’t mean everybody does it, so why can you not give us that choice on the television? rrrrrrrr
