Better than I had anticipated and really quite good for the price. Room had a little bit of a strong antiseptic/cleaning smell when I first walked in but otherwise quite ok. Towels were pretty thin and well worn but the shower pressure was strong, the ac/heater worked well, and I liked the large fridge and microwave. Most importantly the bed was comfortable and I didn't hear much of any noise from other rooms.

Would have loved a kettle or coffee machine in room.

This is a motor lodge. It is dated, probably not updated from the 1970s or 1980s. It is not fancy but it was clean. The beds were comfortable. No breakfast included, no coffee maker in the room. For the price, it was perfect for a cheaper place for an overnight stay. The office is only open till 11 pm but if you call and let them know you’ll be arriving after 11, they will stay open. We arrived at 12:30 am, no problem because I called ahead of time.

Was well kept, clean, friendly staff. Room was spacious and had a nice desk and 3 chairs in a double queen room. Microwave & fridge. Property was very well lit at night which was comforting when coming in late.

A bit outdated but was still clean and comfortable. Curtains worked well for privacy but had pin holes all through them; just older I assume. No coffee pot in the room but coffee was provided at the office.

The location was perfect and the rooms were clean. Housekeeping came around every morning to spiff up the rooms and provide clean linens. I've been to this hotel twice and have has good experiences. No breakfast is included, just drip coffee in the lobby.

The rooms were extremely dry during our winter stays. That was my only complaint.

Location close to PSU Altoona, Mount Aloysius College and St. Francis University. Older hotel where you park in front of room but very clean!! Beds comfy and every room has fridge w freezer and microwave. Staff is super friendly too. We keep staying here several times a year.

Have to turn on heat/ac on window/wall unit when check in to make room climate comfy

The staff was very nice.. Great location. Room was very clean but outdated. The bathroom did have some updating done and was very clean as well. They did offer coffee in the office.I did not take notice if they offered anything else. Overall a very pleasant stay

For me everything was fine. It was pretty much what i expected

The location was excellent. Close to nearby small towns for restaurants and close to the Lower Trailhead for bicycling. The room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. The grounds in front were attractive. Easy parking right in front of the room. Although the furnishings were old, they were all in excellent condition.

No faults with it.

Location is great close to Mount Aloysius, Penn State Altoona & St. Francis colleges. Sheetz close and Meadows ice cream too. Its an older hotel you drive up and park outside the room but always super clean and beds comfy! All rooms have mini fridge w freezer and microwave. Staff super friendly too

Need either newer pillows or more pillows as they were pretty flat or clumpy.

I stay at the Wye frequently and it is in a perfect location for my needs when visiting. Quiet, clean facility with a "70s" vibe. I know the staff from staying with them frequently and feel safe.

I prefer a softer mattress but that is preference specific and also a comfortable chair would be a super addition for comfort.

The location was perfect for us; right near the main highway. All the staff were very friendly. The room, number 23, exceeded our expectations with a stovetop, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a desk. It was very clean and stock with plenty of towels and toiletries.

The door locks were very old, but functional. The deadbolt was particularly difficult to turn.
