If you want to stay in town and not pay lakefront prices, this is a great place. Newly renovated, with easy parking. A five-minute drive from the lakefront and just a few minutes from downtown. We got a suite with three beds (one bathroom) for what I would expect to pay for a room with two queens.

Not a great place for an evening walk, but just a five-minute drive from lakeside walks.

We like that it is pet friendly and there wasn’t an extra fee. It is close to many attractions, has plenty of parking, and the check in staff member was super nice! Room was clean and spacious. Has a very nice pet area. Beds were very comfortable with a lot of pillows.

The bathroom was a very nice large size, but the sink was a stand alone and had no counter space near it. There are a lot of sirens from emergency vehicles at all hours.

I loved that it was close to all my areas I wanted to visit. It was 4 mins from downtown I went there for the celebrating Erie festival. So close to most of the attractions. The double locks on doors made me feel safe. And the suite had 3 queen size beds a kitchenette which they provided pots and pans.

I hotel was pretty much clean but there was hair on the floor and bathroom. A couple things were broken but it didn’t ruin our stay. Also the area was a little sketchy but we were usually back before dark.

Value was Great. Pet Friendly option without extra fees was what sold us. Cleanliness and comfort of the room was good. Location was convenient to many downtown attractions.

Cleanliness of parking lot and common hallway/elevator area was not very good. Location didn't feel the safest but we managed.

The front desk staff were outstanding. They were more than happy to help and very friendly and were fast with helping customers in line. The rooms were very comfortable and secure.

The only minor complaint that I could possibly come up with is that the parking lot and exterior had some litter and didn't look very kept up with. That gave me an unfortunate first impression which was quickly changed by the exceptional customer service.

Clean bedding,I guess when booking I didn’t know it would be two kinda separate rooms. Nice surprise and a kitchenette. I don’t think the wordage was clear on that, if we had know we would have been able to bring more food items.

A hook or two in bathroom to hang stuff when showering . There were tiny ants on floor near toilet, for some reason. A mirror in the staying quarters, so others could still get ready if someone is in the shower room.

Large clean room. Excellent value. Easy check-in with friendly staff. Very dog-friendly facility. Lots of parking; short drive to all the activities we had scheduled.

Very quiet area except for the occasional emergency vehicle (there must be a station nearby) and train passing by. This did not bother our family at all - just a brief mention for others who may wish to be aware.

Staff was great, but you could tell they didn't have adequate or quality staff. There is a lovely garden (patch of grass) area with two areas protected from the elements. This was great for walking dogs, but the dog poop bag location did not have any poop bags. The room was mostly clean, except for the three dirt streaks on the shower stall, the soapy (slick, dirty feeling) floor (needed to be cleared with a water sponge), and the make up foundation on the blanket (I don't wear make up). The bed was comfortable and the room was adequately sized. The bathroom door could have not been facing the room, but what are you gonna do?

The hotel was easy to get to and easy to navigate around. There we're many restaurants and bars close by. It was very clean and there were no issues of any kind checking in or out.

If you are on a fishing trip with a boat or have a trailer of any kind, the parking lot isn't really trailer friendly. Just so everyone knows. The only thing that I had a problem with was this being a new hotel, the plumbing fixtures were installed incorrectly. Nothing serious but the sinks hot side was cold and the cold was hot. The toilet was hard to flush because the 'guts' were in the way of the handle in the tank, and the shower diverter was installed backwards so you had to make sure the water was the right temperature before you got in. Simple fixes and hopefully they get them taken care of. Room 221.

The front desk crew was very friendly and also accommodating to a special request. I've never stayed in a Red Roof before so if others are like this location, I can look forward to a good experience. The room was just right for our stay. It was spacious enough, clean and comfortable.

I truly can't think of anything that was displeasing.
