It was in a great location if it were summertime and we wanted to do Dutch Wonderland. It was also near a lot of shopping malls so we was great for finding good places for clothes.

I didn’t like the fact that it was more like a motel where the rooms were outside in the pool the indoor pool that is was not inside of and or attached to the main building that would’ve been perfect. however I understand why they made it more of a motel design versus closed in hotel design. There were lots of children trying to play outside and that would’ve been so annoying to have them run through the halls and a indoor building. Great outdoor space to play though.

The main building is cute, friendly environment. Has arcade for kids to play games even not that big but workable. Room is clean. Staff are friendly. The day I stayed had snow and the staffs put salt and maintain sidewalk really good.

The room's building looks cheap and doesn't have elevator for wheelchair. And working to the indoor pool in the winter is kind of hard with the small kids. Maybe should have the expandable dome cover the walking path in the winter and can take out in the summer for better vision. And stuffs at gift shop, the price is quite high.

Amenities were good, outdoor pool and attached hot tub were open, store was great added touch as well as location to shopping and restaurants. The firepits with seating was a nice touch to the hotel. Themed room decor was enjoyed. Staff were friendly and helpful. When we left, we forgot a bag in the room. I called the hotel and they went to the room and had the bag waiting for us in the lobby. Kids loved the arcade and I liked that it was open 24/7 so the bigger kids could play after the little ones went to sleep.

The indoor pool was closed for refurbishment, outdoor pool slide was closed the whole time we were there, there was old food between the bed and night stand so better cleaning should happen more frequently, most of the housekeeping staff spoke Spanish which made it difficult to get extra trash bags for our room. They do not do daily housekeeping (taking out trash, making beds, replacing towels, etc).

I loved how everything was clean! When we got to the property at check-in I realized I was in the second floor I’m currently 7 months pregnant and can not walk stairs! The staff was so nice and immediately found me a room on the ground level!

We paid $15 a person to eat the breakfast buffet and the food was all cold and hard! Kinda disappointed. We ate the buffet only because it had been our first time there with our kiddos and it was supposed to be breakfast with characters and we only got to see one. Probably won’t eat there again as that was very disappointing and money well wasted! The only thing good for breakfast was the sweet girl who came and delivered our drinks!

The staff was very friendly and obviously enjoyed their jobs. The bunkbeds were great for the kids and the tvs in each bed was a cute touch. The toon room was a great activity and always had fun stuff going on. We stayed off season which was a great choice. While the outdoor pool wasn't open, we were able to really enjoy the property without being crowded. The breakfast buffet was at a discounted price, for off season, which was a fair price. We even got to enjoy one of the themed seating rooms since it wasn't crowded. The employees really helped make our stay great.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, the "queen" bed was small for a queen and not very comfortable. There could be a little more ventilation in the rooms.

Staff was upbeat and friendly. There are a lot of activities for the kids and characters coming out at certain times of the day. The room was clean and decorated very cute. The beds were very comfortable. We had a family room, and having a tv for each bunk was awesome. My son could watch his cartoons while we watched what we wanted to watch at our bed. The shower was nice and big, plus shower pressure was amazing, the best I have experienced at any hotel. The lighting around the mirror had me intrigued. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

pillows on the queen sized bed, we had 4 small kid sized pillows, no microwave in the room. These are the only 2 small things we would change.

I liked that it was my 11 year old daughter's birthday and she was happy to stay at the hotel. She enjoyed meeting the characters, she played bingo, trivia and she enjoyed the arcade. She won some prizes and had fun. The location is great, so we ate at Golden Coral which we all enjoyed. I liked that they had movie night. The staff made my daughter feel special since it was her birthday, so that was a bonus.

We couldn't get into our room after we literally checked in because the door was jammed but the staff acted very quickly and fixed it. The schedule had meet the characters at a specific time and when we went they told us it was over. Then I showed them the schedule and they apologized that another event had went over and they were off schedule . Minor, no big deal. My family was happy, the day was great and the staff was extremely friendly. I would like a microwave in the room since we have a refrigerator.

They removed the lounge chairs that sit in the water. It varied when or if the restaurants and snack stands would open. There was paint peeling on the bathroom door and mold in the shower. We also didn’t have hand soap until later on in our stay. The grass outdoors was extremely dry and could use some watering. They also stopped showing outdoor movies on the huge blow up screen and moved them inside. Defeats summertime hangouts by the fire pits. The ping pong table was also missing from the pool house, which was something my kids were very excited to return to and play.

Everything!! The dual pools (and hot tubs!) helped keep the crowds divided and manageable, and the splash pad was awesome for variety and to keep the littles wet and engaged as well. The Activity Field/courtyard was an excellent surprise as well - room to run, play ball, games of cornhole or ladderball (provided!), and fire pits to gather around or roast s’mores…overall gave a very Summer Camp vibe and matched the Family Friendly/Play-friendly atmosphere of the whole facility. Throw in original artwork/storyboard artifacts in the main lobby, character themed rooms, bunk bed options, Character Meet+Greets, video gags on the elevator and in the restaurant, and it was just next level incredible for us. Best stay we’ve had as a family hands down

The only notes I suppose that I have are: - could update some character options (Craig of the Creek themed rooms?) - The connection and symbiosis with Dutch Wonderland was fairly understated, which wasn’t particularly a bad thing. Seemed like there were more perks at the park that came from being hotel residents that I didn’t come away naturally knowing or understanding. Probably my own fault for not digging deeper, but just a note!

I loved all the activities they offered for the kids and the themed rooms. All the staff was super helpful and friendly. Their pool and splash pad were great and I loved the fire pits set up around the property. Ashley took it upon herself to give my daughter a surprise treat for her birthday. Maddie at the front desk was super helpful as well . And Matt did a great job taking all the characters around and being super sweet and sociable with the kids.

When I checked in the indoor pool was closed along with no dinner options. Apparently, it was an issue of being short-staffed. Also when I went to the pool that Monday the snack shack by the pool was closed as well. I feel when issues like this occur guests should be notified and prices changed to reflect these inconveniences.
