The location is great, cute shops and restaurants within walking distance and within minutes to the Sight and Sound Theatre. Have stayed here before and it still remains one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in, inside and the property itself

Honestly a very small gripe but would be nice if you had bath gel. We had forgotten ours and they only provide a tiny hand soap for the sink. The hotel is on a very busy road which makes it a little tricky if your trying to pull across traffic but there is a middle turning lane which is advisable to use at least to get you started and then someone always let us into the lane we needed.

It was clean, comfortable and close to everything. We wanted to see quiet at night.

When we checked in the lady was a little ignorant, I tripped on the carpet in front of the desk told them it was a trip hazard they didn’t seem to care. We were supposed to get a balcony, but this place does not have balconies the receptionist when we left was friendly cleaning staff was very friendly and patient.

We loved the motel. It was beautiful and the staff was amazing. I don't know his name but the guy at checkin and checkout was awesome, friendly and was amazing toward my daughter. He alone makes us want to return for a weekend.

The water was a little slow coming out. But besides that we had a late 12pm checkout. The cleaning people knocked the door at 1140 and I told them. After I turned the key in I told the front I will be 10 mins. I told the cleaning people and the guy said ok but the woman was like no no 12 12. Then they practically stalked us by standing out front waiting making us feel uncomfortable.

We stayed overnight to go to Sight and Sound Theatre. It was very convenient to getting there. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean and well kept on the outside and very charming. The room itself was very clean and smelled clean which was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Check in lady was nice as well. The only suggestion I have is to maybe add a table with 2 chairs or a desk area. There was only a tall dresser and a large space where a table or desk could go. Makes it convenient if you're dining in or trying to work.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself but the road in front of it is a very busy road. We had to go in the opposite direction of where we needed to go and turn around as we couldn't get across traffic and the cars fly down the road.

their maintenance. place was immaculate in cleanliness and renovation. I appreciated that a lot. we only stayed overnight so didn’t need too much so it was good for us.

needed iron to straighten my shirt and it was the only time I needed it in my entire lifetime of travelling. but this place didn’t have it. not a big deal tho since it wasn’t a dire need. I also wished they had a table and couple more chairs for lounging but they were very frugal and left out the unnecessary things like, microwave, iron, tables and chairs. for a overnight stay, it was fine. but to stay for couple of days, it may be questionable but nothing to really complain about. my priority is cleanliness and courtesy of the staff, and the price.

We actually brought our cereal with us. It was so convenient to have the fridge in the room. The room was the perfect size for us. We could not hear the neighbors next door.

We had a wonderful time. The only thing that was even remotely lacking was a heavier bedspread/blanket and the bed was a little too firm for our liking, but it was fine.

The facility was nice. Not really very modern, but it was homey and comfortable. We did not get a breakfast with the room but across the street there was a great restaurant that we ate at all three mornings. Well worth the money and so nicely treated. Not sure if they are related but nice team if they are. The room were very quiet and the curtains kept the room dark in the morning sun. Water pressure and the heat of the water was great in the morning and more than enough hot water for two showers. So if you need a place to stay and not for a crazy cost, this place is great. Well worth the money and close to Sight and Sound too!

There needs to be some repairs to the sidewalks. A few updates would be nice. a few machines for soda and candy might be a nice addition too.

The TV would often freeze and turn to snow when changing the stations. The sound on the TV was not perfectly clear.

It was very clean, it was in a good location, and it was very quiet and comfortable.

The only thing I could say I didn’t like was the tiny bar of soap that they left was barely enough for a few showers.

I'm writing this review because, to be honest, I was a bit scared to book here. As you'll see when you look around for hotels in the area, they all cost a lot of money on the weekends. These prices were beyond what I really cared to pay for a stay. Soudersburg Motel was in the range of what I normally pay for a hotel. I saw reviews from about a year ago claiming bed bugs, dirty conditions, etc. I personally experienced none of this. Our room clearly represented a budget motel room but it was clean, there were no bed bugs (we checked), Brenda at the front desk was very nice and explained everything to me, there was plenty of hot water, the furniture was in fine condition, and I slept just fine. I would absolutely return.

The ONE thing said in reviews that turned out to be true was that there is a SLIGHT musty smell when you first walk in. It was not bad at all and would not deter me from booking or returning.
