We loved the motel. It was beautiful and the staff was amazing. I don't know his name but the guy at checkin and checkout was awesome, friendly and was amazing toward my daughter. He alone makes us want to return for a weekend.

The water was a little slow coming out. But besides that we had a late 12pm checkout. The cleaning people knocked the door at 1140 and I told them. After I turned the key in I told the front I will be 10 mins. I told the cleaning people and the guy said ok but the woman was like no no 12 12. Then they practically stalked us by standing out front waiting making us feel uncomfortable.

We stayed overnight to go to Sight and Sound Theatre. It was very convenient to getting there. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean and well kept on the outside and very charming. The room itself was very clean and smelled clean which was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Check in lady was nice as well. The only suggestion I have is to maybe add a table with 2 chairs or a desk area. There was only a tall dresser and a large space where a table or desk could go. Makes it convenient if you're dining in or trying to work.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself but the road in front of it is a very busy road. We had to go in the opposite direction of where we needed to go and turn around as we couldn't get across traffic and the cars fly down the road.

their maintenance. place was immaculate in cleanliness and renovation. I appreciated that a lot. we only stayed overnight so didn’t need too much so it was good for us.

needed iron to straighten my shirt and it was the only time I needed it in my entire lifetime of travelling. but this place didn’t have it. not a big deal tho since it wasn’t a dire need. I also wished they had a table and couple more chairs for lounging but they were very frugal and left out the unnecessary things like, microwave, iron, tables and chairs. for a overnight stay, it was fine. but to stay for couple of days, it may be questionable but nothing to really complain about. my priority is cleanliness and courtesy of the staff, and the price.

The facility was nice. Not really very modern, but it was homey and comfortable. We did not get a breakfast with the room but across the street there was a great restaurant that we ate at all three mornings. Well worth the money and so nicely treated. Not sure if they are related but nice team if they are. The room were very quiet and the curtains kept the room dark in the morning sun. Water pressure and the heat of the water was great in the morning and more than enough hot water for two showers. So if you need a place to stay and not for a crazy cost, this place is great. Well worth the money and close to Sight and Sound too!

There needs to be some repairs to the sidewalks. A few updates would be nice. a few machines for soda and candy might be a nice addition too.

Nice clean rooms. Manager was super nice. Great value . Will definitely be staying there again. Bathroom was nice size , good water pressure . Toilet was chair height , nice height with plenty of rails for use for disabled or elderly. Something you never see in motels .

There are motels with better locations (where you can watch the buggies and Amish farm ) but this one is right across from Deiners . The best restaurant in the area .

I'm writing this review because, to be honest, I was a bit scared to book here. As you'll see when you look around for hotels in the area, they all cost a lot of money on the weekends. These prices were beyond what I really cared to pay for a stay. Soudersburg Motel was in the range of what I normally pay for a hotel. I saw reviews from about a year ago claiming bed bugs, dirty conditions, etc. I personally experienced none of this. Our room clearly represented a budget motel room but it was clean, there were no bed bugs (we checked), Brenda at the front desk was very nice and explained everything to me, there was plenty of hot water, the furniture was in fine condition, and I slept just fine. I would absolutely return.

The ONE thing said in reviews that turned out to be true was that there is a SLIGHT musty smell when you first walk in. It was not bad at all and would not deter me from booking or returning.

Great location and clean

Housekeeping woke us up at 8am every morning banging on the door to give us one set of towels ( there was 4 of us 2 babies under 2) when it came time to leave housekeeping was waiting outside our door at 1030 watched us load the truck and mumbled about the check out time

Cleaner than many chains I've stayed in and decidedly more well-maintained. Bed was firm but comfortable. Shower was hot even at 9 AM. Quiet location, yet convenient to restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff. Easy check out.

The only possible negative I can think of is the parking lot, but it's a light negative. It was a full house and there was plenty of parking. I just couldn't park directly outside of my room. Not bothersome for me in the least, but may be for some.

We liked being far enough away from the busiest areas and the quieter location compared to other motels. The stay was quiet and we enjoyed time as a family.

The only frustration was at checking in. The front desk was not very friendly about a miscommunication from Booking.com. she was more brash than I expected considering a profession in hospitality.

The size of the room what very good, Bed were comfortable and bathrooms very clean

With the size of the room there is no reason why there could not be a small table and chairs like there is in most all motels. It's not very comfortable sitting on a bed when in the room for a while hours. Also there was 5 people in our room with only 4 towels we ask the office for another one but was told they don't have a more.
