It was my husband's and my choice to come to such a beautiful country hotel. And we did not regret it! We plunged into the home atmosphere and met the wonderful hostess Sari. We were greeted very warmly and offered dinner. We happily agreed because we were hungry. The buffalo wings were excellent, my husband had beef steak and it was very juicy and soft. And what a gorgeous breakfast! A large selection of dishes for breakfast and very tasty! Delicious pastries! The room was warm although it was very frosty outside, comfortable beds, clean and there were bathroom accessories. Of course, in the summer you should definitely visit this hotel because the lake and nature near the hotel are very beautiful! We are grateful to all the staff and especially the hostess of such a wonderful hotel for a pleasant experience! We will definitely come back to you again! Thank you very much!

Inn exudes a step-back-in-time country bed-and-breakfast flair although each room has its own private bathroom. Each room has its own character, uniquely decorated as different bedrooms would be in an old, stately colonial, adding to the historical charm throughout. Sari, a most gracious hostess, received us warmly and upgraded our room to an available recently updated family suite which added extra degrees of comfort and consolation after an exhausting travel run and late check-in. As a guest, you are served a full breakfast off a menu with delicious cooked-to-order options at a formally set linen-covered table in a lovely dining room with beautiful lake views; all this is included with your room reservation - wow! We felt we were drawn into in a Norman Rockwell scene where details of what is natural and good were important and brought to life by the artist and were noticed and valued, then experienced by the beholder. We will definitely visit again!

If you prefer the perfectly organized, stale atmosphere you find in most American hotels, then this place may not be for you. It is, as some other people described, like walking into a large family home. Lived in, a little topsy-turvy and very welcoming. They have a kid's play room with a ping pong and pool table, and can be a little chaotic at times. My kids loved it, however. They also have a couple of kayaks and a row boat that you can take out on the lake. The breakfast is good, with a standard American diner style menu. Everything was fresh and good. The dinner was good too. We enjoyed the stake, salmon, pasta and soup. The hotel rooms are old style with no TV or fridge. They are clean and comfortable. The mattresses are new, but old style. I slept like a log there. The staff were great and seem very happy that the owner allows them to bring their kids to work. We would love to return.

The outdoors could do with a spruce up and a little paint. The bikes and equipment need to be maintained more. Maybe it just adds to the charm. There is little to do in the area around the hotel if you are not into hiking, boating, fishing and hunting.

The overall atmosphere, style, and design. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Great restaurant. We didn't have a chance to use it, but having boats for rent is a very big plus in my opinion. And we were glad to have possibility to play pool and ping-pong in the game room.

I understand that it's the end of the season, but we would expect the windows to be cleaner. I have slipped on the stairs at the entry of the inn and fell during the rain - some anti-slip protection could be helpful.

Had an excellent pork schnitzel dinner there at the restaurant. For breakfasts; Had a Bagel with Lox that was very good, their french toast needs more egg on it though. Really enjoyed having a cigar with scotch from the bar there on the front porch that overlooks starlight lake. I stayed there between seasons and was upgraded to suite that had a super nice bath tub and shower. This establishment seems like a family owned and family staffed operation, it's like being a guest in someone's rather large home.

I have no complaints. I suggest paving a portion of the parking area for those on Motorcycles.

the location and the price but the surprise was the food. The menu and the food were exceptional. and the staff was a pleasure

The treat of the personal staff was incredible. They were so attentive, and nice. Especially mention to Patricia, thanks for all, you’re the best! We also had dinners, breakfasts, and lunch on the hotel, and food quality-price was excellent. Also as a vegan person, I had the opportunity to eat different dishes perfectly!

Sari and her entire staff were amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and every meal was exceptional. If you are looking for an old-school resort experience this is it.

If you are looking for every modern amenity this is not for you. However, if you want to go back to a simpler time where you can take out a boat, eat great meals, or read a book on the dock this will click all the boxes.

You can’t ask for more quiet. The Inn sits across the road from a small, serene lake. Good choices on the breakfast menu. Comfy bed. Large, modern bathroom attached to the room.

You can’t blame a property when there’s a heat wave going on, but it would have been a little more comfortable if the room had air conditioning instead of a window fan.

My second time back it's a 3-hour drive from where I live but it's worth it the scenery is beautiful the staff is great and very friendly and they have a great menu thank you Adam for making a delicious dinner and breakfast. I highly recomend this establishment and once you go chances are you are going to come back....Thank guys for your hospitality..see you guys soon.
