It was convenient to restaurants and family as we were visiting for a quick turnaround trip. It was clean. Staff was friendly from the front desk to housekeeping.

There was a weird smell (like motor oil/fumes) on our floor as we exited the elevator. Can’t say if there was a smell on the other floors but didn’t not smell it on the first floor. It was a very strong odor and I couldn’t tell if it was from something be repaired or what but after a couple days the smell faded but was never completely gone. The ice machine didn’t work on our floor which was a little disappointing.

The staff is really awesome and accommodating. Offering a quick breakfast when you're traveling with kids is always a plus. Beds were very comfortable. Very close to Ft Jackson base.

They need a little more quality control on cleanliness. Simple things as wiping the glass around the bathroom mirrors. Cleaning webs from corners. Dusting nightstand shelf's would have made it a better stay. And to also mention the paint was fading off the black stains on the ceiling.

Staff was nice and the room was nice. Hotel was close to restaurants, gas station, and interstate.

The shower had a draining problem. Water would only go to the left side of the drain and start to back flow. Also made a loud draining noise and smelled like sewage. Air conditioning doesn't stay on automatically. Didn't get a chance to try their breakfast this time.

Room was spacious, ample lighting and clean. Staff was well behaved, and the person looking after breakfast was really pleasant and welcoming. Overall, we had a very good experience and great values for the money.

When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk was responsive, listened, and super nice. When I first arrived in my room, everything was clean. It looked to have been recently cleaned, there was no trash in cans, toilet and shower looked clean, no dust. The bed was comfy.

The shower needed soap. The u s b chargers next to the bed that are built into the wall outlet did not work. Unfortunately, I did not figure this out until the next morning when my phone was not charged. And finally they don't dust under stuff. I was having bad cramps in my legs from exercising so I needed to lay on the floor to stretch my legs out against the wall. Of course this is when you can see everything else. Considering how much the rates have went up on hotels I feel like there should be sufficient staffing to clean not only what can be seen but what cannot.

Great location with easy access back onto Interstate to continue our trip next day. Ample breakfast offerings with attentive staff member overseeing - large, clean, attractive dining area. Overall, the room, beds, pillows were comfortable - large clean bathroom with shower Staff at front desk were polite and helpful.

Room was very cold upon arrival, but climate control was easily adjustable. Door to room would stick and was very noisy to close. Our room at the end of the first floor hall had a door out to parking lot, but steps made it harder to access with suitcases.

Our room was next to the employees door and the side door of the building so all evening and throughout the night we heard every time the doors slammed shut. Did not get a good night sleep at all. Other than that everything else was great. We really loved the style of the shower!! Thinking about remodeling our on to something like it.

The hotel room was clean and well laid out. The rooms need more sound proofing--adjacent room occupant's TV could be heard through the wall. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful at ensuring our comfort to include assisting with quieting neighboring occupant's TV. We did not stay for the breakfast but, based on the layout, it appeared to be an excellent assortment of breakfast foods.

Poor sound proofing in the walls and, for a Holiday Inn Express, felt the price was a little higher than desired.

The hotel was lovely. It was very handy to be able to park very close to the entrance to our room. The complimentary breakfast was delicious....eggs, breakfast meats , biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt, cereal....wonderful! It was handy access to I-79 which kept us on track for getting to Florida on time. The Booking.com confirmation stated that there was no parking spot available....this is not true- there is ample parking all around the building.

The walls/doors were obviously not very soundproofed- we heard our neighbours making quite a ruckus in the halls at 1:30 in the morning. That would be our only concern.

The breakfast was decent for the actual price of the room and other amenities offered at this location. The overall room size is outstanding for this style hotel and having a refrigerator and microwave definitely came in handy.

I recommend changing the cup size used for serving juice at breakfast to at least a 6oz cup. The current cups are very small causing an individual to get multiple refills. Room Accommodations, the bed is very comfortable but just a couple inches too high for someone with back injuries. Additionally, whatever products housekeeping is using to clean/mop the floors leave a sticky residue on the floor when walking on it with shoes. Overall, the rooms are cleaned very well and you can definitely tell they have been sanitized as soon as you walk inside.
