The breakfast was the standard hotel fare, but it was good enough to start the day. The coffee was good. The rooms are clean and everything worked. There was plenty of hot water and the a/c kept the room at a good temperature for sleeping. I liked the layout of the room that separated the beds. Staying with family, it felt like there were separate spaces. The balcony was nice also.

The bed sloped on the sides if you got too near the edge. They weren't the most comfortable mattresses I've slept on. Also, the office and breakfast area is on the other side of the road. We had a toddler with us and it was a little nerve wracking getting across the road without carrying her.

I love the “bear quilts”, bedding is comfortable, view of the river from the balcony is probably my favorite thing, clean, and free breakfast was exceptional!

Courtesy of early check in now carries a $50 fee. We checked at 1ish to see if they would allow us into the room early… no go. There were plenty of unoccupied rooms as we later walked to our room at after 4pm. We were only there one night (Wednesday/midweek) so pretty quick turnaround to be out at 10am next morning. The statements about being charged for early check in or late checkout almost seems harsh and inflexible. Kind of sets a negative vibe. But… besides that, we really enjoyed our brief stay!

Love the balcony over river. Good location, quiet on right end, close to everything. Staff are excellent. Breakfast is good. Rooms clean but dated, smells mildewed

Rooms dated, mildew smell. Very small bathroom

we loved that the property was on the River, the location was perfect for us because we wanted to be close to gatlinburg and pigeon forge, and the staff was helpful and kind.

Not so much dislikes, but more inconveniences. It was a little outdated, and had a slight musty smell when we first entered the room (like it had been vacant for a while, but the room was super clean) but we left the balcony door cracked for an hour or so while we went to eat, and the fresh air had cleared the room when we got back. Also for future reference, the double king beds are in a separate, older hotel building across the river. The double queen beds are in the hotel building close to the office which is also where the continental breakfast is served. If you stay in the double King rooms, you will be driving, unless you like walking in the freezing snow, for about 5-10 minutes (probably a decent walk in spring/ summer) but parking is tight and limited when the hotel is booked.

The sound of the river running and the view off your balcony. The ducks, pigeons and even a groundhog.

The bathroom could be bigger. Pull the carpet up and just have tiled flooring or hardwood laminate. Build a bridge so that visitors staying in building #2 can access the office/ breakfast by walking across the bridge instead of having to drive. A chain lock on all doors as well. For guests staying with smaller children. Safety precaution!

Our stay at Creekside Inn was a pleasant surprise- we will definitely stay here again! The room was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was very good. It was also conveniently close to the attractions we had planned in Pigeon Forge- literally could have walked to Dolly Parton’s Stampede. The geese and ducks around the creek were a nice little bonus for our kids!

The rooms were spotless, the staff and response of service calls was absolutely exceptional. We were contacted within 5 minutes of check in to see if we needed anything. The king bed room sizes were great and the amount of charging stations was great. The view overlooking the river was refreshing. WAY more pros than cons to staying here!

Breakfast wasn’t the greatest in the world, more options and flavor would be beneficial. The tv’s barely had channels when we scrolled. The buildings being separated were a struggle as we met family from out of town and were hoping to be in the same building as we didn’t know they were split.

The location was great! We had a short drive to all the places we wanted to visit in Pigeon Forge and were able to avoid the traffic nightmare called, Gatlinburg. Room was clean and smelled good. The breakfast was nice and what we expected for a free hotel breakfast. The air conditioning in the room worked great for the 90+ degree days.

The river was nice and family-friendly until dusk. We made our kids come inside when adults in the river were drinking and participating in adult 'activities' without any regard for the people (including children) around them. I'm not sure what the motel could do to stop this, but it's just sad that adults will act in such a way. Also, the breakfast room was clean and comfortable, but the servers/food prep crew should maybe wear hair nets? Each of our 3 mornings, at least one of us found hair in our food, that didn't match our own.

I loved the fact that all rooms have a balcony overlooking the river, and the beds in the room are separated by the bathroom, which seems to give each sleeping area more privacy. Also, the rooms have two tvs. That way, the kids can watch whatever they want, and the parents can do the same.

The only negative thing I can say about this hotel and it's not really their fault (other than the location they chose to build it at). The pool is located right beside a busy go-cart track. It is very loud and noisy. So, if you want to relax by the pool, bring some ear plugs or noise canceling headphones.
