The look and feel of the hotel was more of a community. Like staying at a friends house not a hotel. The pool area, bar, and all common areas were very inviting. The staff was very sweet and helpful. The outdoor seating and tables make a nice place to hang out and watch the sunset as well.

In the beginning, when checking in, I was informed our room did not have a private bathroom or shower area. It was a common restroom in the hallway. I didn't like this idea. But after seeing the facilities, they had many private restrooms with showers. I never had to wait to use one and they were all kept clean. So in the end this changed my initial thought on this idea.

Loved the fantastic atmosphere, super relaxing and safe with a fun beachy vibe. Staff couldn't have been nicer. The shared bathrooms for the cabins were super spacious and modern and each one locks. I never had to wait for a bathroom to be free. Met lots of other lovely travellers there in their 20s-30s which was nice too.

Location is great in a street with lots of bars but this meant it was kinda noisy at night with partygoers on the road outside. No noise from the other rooms though. Also to get to downtown you have to walk past a slightly dodgy area and I wouldn't have felt safe walking alone in the evening there.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff was above and beyond (thank y’all)! The hotel is cute and spacious at the same time, as well as the room. We had one of the rooms that you share the bathroom and it was a really good experience. I recommend to select this option if you need to be on budget. The shared bathroom has 3 different individual rooms with shower and wc for you. We had no issues and there was always at least one available. The area was really really clean and everyone was really respectful. The pool area is super nice. The breakfast is super good for the price ($5) and the cafeteria area is cozy. The parking was $10 instead of the original $25. There was a misunderstanding and we parked outside during the night and the next morning they let us park inside for free until the check out. Again, 5 starts staff! The neighborhood is really cool and vibrant, and you are at walking distance from 6th St. a lot of cool places to have dinner and drinks and a lot lot cute shops. The area is safe! Again, I 100% recommend this place and can’t wait to be back! This will be our place-to-stay in Austin for sure!

The only negative thing is that the room got a little bit noisy due to pipe noises, but nothing disturbing.

the side of town was super cool vibes. I love staying there made us venture out of our comfort zone of downtown Austin. I loved the East side. so cozy, cool and just awesome. I loved and actually purchased their soap and lotion that were free to use while staying in the room. the bar and even restaurants were very good and a lot more impressive than the bare eye might first see. the staff was phenomenal from the front desk, to the manager all the way out to the lead maintenance guy. they have great great potential for a new property. I can’t wait to watch the place grow over the next decade. it is swanky and not your typical corporate feel. don’t judge it by the decor or the oddities… they are what made it the most enjoyable.

the lighting in the main part of the room was not bright enough when dark and I will never book a room on the East side of the actual property due to the sun being too bright early. also the water pressure & temp was AWFUL. but can be fixed. I just felt cold and unhappy in such an amazing huge shower w amazing perfect products!! stayed 4 days and tried multiple times of day and so on and each shower was not pleasant.

Has a nice cool vibe located just outside the main downtown area but lots of bars etc around. Rooms are spacious (I was in a Waller room which have own bathroom not the Cabins which I believe share a bathroom so can't speak to those) beds really nice, nice touches everywhere. Staff amazing and great pool/bar and the upstairs bar area a really nice place to chill out in the evening. The food is also really good. I honestly couldn't fault it and thats a rare thing indeed.

I couldn't think of anything - I guess its not that cheap but why would it be!

- Location is nice : walking distance to the convention center area, supermarket, and the restaurants in Eastern area. - Staff are friendly and respectful. - Facilities are clean and neat - Lovely poolside lounge (we 4 team members often used that lounge for are presentations preparation) and the restaurant.

- Room (Cabin) don’t have enough light to work (Use PC) . - Room (Cabin) has only thick curtain, no lace curtain, so we can’t keep it open (people outside can look at inside if the curtain is open). - Social club is just in front of the cabins, and loud sound in Sunday night

We ran into a problem at check-in. We had called before arriving and I spoke with the person working the desk and was told our room was ready. We arrived only to be told room was not ready. They had checked the wrong name. We sat by pool area lounge for a couple of hours waiting for rooms. Once we told the bartender our problem about how check in time had come and gone and we still didn't have our rooms - she immediately got with manager involved and we were taken care of right away. That is great customer service. Person working the desk was not at all a person for working with people. We had dinner reservations and had no idea if we were going to be ready on time to meet our reservation. Manager went above and beyond at that point to make up for our wait. She made our stay well worth it.

I appreciated the value option of a cheaper room with the shared restroom facilities. Felt like by making some concessions we got to stay in a nice fun hotel in a convenient area (didn’t have a car for the trip) for much less than other hotels in the area this particular weekend. Staff was great, pool was great.

The more affordable rooms are also on the side of the building facing a noisy street with partying and loud music on the weekend. But whatever, they had earplugs in the room ;) Might bother some people more but we were fine

Location , friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant and bar , room facilities are good eg coffee machine etc

housekeeping staff are not as conscientious and reliable as other hotel staff . eg they don’t always replace soap, body lotion , creamers and bottles of drinking water . they seem to do the minimum required and don’t always have attention to detail or use common sense . This was the only disappointing aspect of the stay , the staff in all other areas were courteous , friendly , diligent and extremely helpful .
