I really liked that the property is gated and has overnight security. It’s also conveniently located near downtown and just south of a movie theater. There’s a Chipotle and a Whataburger right across the street, along with several other great food spots nearby! Over the weekend, I used the bus to get around, and luckily the 300, 803, and 3 bus lines all stop right across the street. The breakfast was delicious—they offer a great selection of food and beverages. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Debra for taking such good care of us!

I really liked the hotel, but the only downside was the fire alarm going off every two hours overnight. ): It first went off at 2:38 a.m. on Sunday, then again around 4 a.m., and finally at 6 a.m. I had a hard time falling back asleep after the first alarm. Other than that, it was still a great stay!

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very large. The property was located very close to the attraction I was attending, and easy access to the interstate for my departure. The price was reasonable.

The carpet looked stained, and one spot on the bed spread. The fixtures in the bathroom were scratched and I would have preferred a walk in shower instead of the tub... however they did have a grab bar in the tub for safety.

The location was good and close to where we needed to go.

There was only one entrance because the other one was closed off so when the map takes you there it takes you to the closed off entrance and you have to go all the way around which gets you a little lost at first. Not to mention when traffic is in front of the main entrance it takes a while to get in.

That there's only a 24 hrs wifi at the time for foreign tourists instead of the length of one's stay. So you automatically from check in at the hotel and when you connect to the Wi-Fi, you'll have access 'till you check out. Would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room to store fruits, beverages and snacks.

It was easy to check in and out, and the staff were very accommodating.

It was super loud. We could get used to the highway noises as it was on a freeway, but the guests on either side of us or on their way to breakfast were very loud.

The way they label the rooms on the site makes you think that a standard room is a smoking room when, in fact, it's all non- smoking property kind of deceiving, but everything else was 👍🏾 great.

Great staff , nice clean pool , rooms were clean and comfortable, good for public transport into downtown, and plenty of food trucks and restaurants within walking distance, area is a bit colorful but felt safe mooching round

I didnt like that they were a lot of homeless people passing by our hotel even tho in Austin there are homeless people everywhere, Our room was in the 1st floor, we were using some stair and the stairs region smelled like urine.

the staff was extremely accommodating, almost to a fault, The hotel is located in a bad drug-infested area so you kind of gotta be careful, but that is nt La Quintas fault. THE continental BREAKFAST was fantastic, especially the Texas-shaped waffles, loved them.

my room had a bad, smell in the carpets, but after a while we didnt smell it, we became acclimated to it

Check in and out was a breeze and loved breakfast buffet. They even had some gluten free stuff for my mom.
