I have stayed here quite some times before, and I'm almost sure I have evaluated this hotel beforehand. My overall impression of the facilities is positive. I am enrolled in a semi-presential postgraduate program at the University of Texas at Austin, and this hotel is really affordable, nicely placed by the I-35's Frontage Road, with easy access to all sort of stores and restaurants, plus access to every imaginable food through Uber Eats. The hotel/motel is quite simple, but really straightforward. Bring your own shampoo, they do provide soap but not shampoo for guests. It's just a 5-minute drive to the university campus, 7 minutes if you go to faculties or buildings on the Guadalupe side of the campus, downtown is close as well, so the Capitol building, museums, the entertainment district, and lots of things to do are nearby, just a 10-15 minutes drive away.

The bed was a bit soft this time, but not really bad. I was so tired all the nights that I slept like a baby anyway. The curtains do a great job darkening the room, and there is good noise isolation from the freeway outside, so you end up sleeping tight.

I didn't like the fact that when my husband got locked out of the hotel room the front desk lady gave him an attitude and told him he can't be in that room and that she was going to lock the key to keep him from going back in there. And the bad thing about it was that our daughter was with him she was being very rude and giving an attitude but finally allowed him to go in after he talked to me on the phone. The TV also wasn't really working well it kept saying no signal and then the TV would turn off. Then the shower head had very low pressure so it was kind of difficult to take a decent shower. But overall a good stay

Clean room, comfy mattress and pet friendly. Short drive to downtown. The price is very competitive.

I’m personally fine with no hair dryer, but some people might find it extremely inconvenient. If you like to travel light and expect to find an iron, a coffee machine, a fridge, USB outlets, shampoo and conditioner in the room, you may want to consider other options.

the price and location. was convenient and affordable. room was clean. bathroom was nice and stocked with clean towels. no evidence of bedbugs

The air conditioning unit was loud, and basically non functional. I had to sleep without any covers because it was hot

Clean room. King bed. Plenty of outlets. Speedy wifi. First floor room. Plenty of parking.

Sharp edge on the door lock. Sharp wood on the edge of the bedside table. No microwave or refrigerator.

Very well lit up. cameras in every corner.

The WI-FI is horrible most television channels were scrambling and would not work.

A good Motel 6 conveniently located within Austin. Not the nicest neighbourhood around, but was perfect for our short stay at the motel. The rooms themselves were fine - not super comfy, but once again fine for our 1 night stay.

Check in took no more than 2 minutes. Everything was right on point. No delays no misunderstandings whatsoever. Room was nice and clean. A/C nice and cool, and surprisingly the TV worked!

Although I didn’t pay “extra” for the microwave or fridge, I believe the price I paid should’ve included them.

I like that they don't ask for security deposit and I like the Darren also asked for a cat deposit that every animals is horrible it's the owners who don't keep up with their animals

Did not like that the rooms are not super clean at least the restroom everything needs to be wiped down more

Very clean, it's not luxury but it was very neat and clean and convenient.
