Lovely hotel! Very comfortable, large room. Great value. Loved my screened in porch with a view into the trees. Grateful they allow small dogs. My pups and I enjoyed exploring the nice grounds with the creek and trees and eating on the patio. (FYI I did have to request to change rooms bc my original assigned room had an open porch/ not a screened in one like the photos show for a King Suite which is why I booked that room so my dog could enjoy being loose on the porch. But I got switched easily as I requested) The different rooms and suites are spread out which is nice. I was in the Old central building upper guest suite which I really enjoyed (I love historic hotels). Though I imagine when dinner is being served downstairs it could be a bit noisy - but there was no evening meal when I stayed so it was very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay here and recommend this lovely hotel.

Some liquid creamer pods for the coffee would be nice (as opposed to the provided powder creamer)

We love the authenticity of the property. The property is a successful blend of historic “cowboy” and modern comfort. ie air conditioning, ice and a pool etc. It is close to everything one needs yet has a feeling of a slower more relaxed lifestyle. Kimberley and staff are friendly and ready to go above and beyond what required of a host. When a small issue arose took care of it immediately and did not make us feel uncomfortable about anything. They are delightful. When I asked about a hairdresser and the staff member called all over town trying to get me an appointment. I’m very appreciative. We are already planning our next trip.

We could have used another chair.

Charming and authentic old buildings in a close community style! The Meyer Hotel right in the middle of the entire quaint and charming Texana town. The whole town is decorated for Christmas. Added bonus is the view on the river. This place is a flash back in time!! Our room was large and bright and painted white! The linens are luxurious ! Plenty of pretty areas the look out in the river! Some of the rooms have a river view! Plus there is a great pool but it’s too cold for swimming right now. The now have one of the best restaurants in town on their property. Breakfast was southern and delicious with large old paned windows looking over the river!!! I am coming back and would even make this a destination chill out vacation

We had a large beautiful room. The grounds were amazing, lots of deer and geese even an armadillo visited our fire. They had great fire pits with wood and starter supplied. There were big beautiful trees on a hill down to the river. Great location very easy drive to Fredericksburg or Kerrville. Eat at Comfort Pizza easy walk and amazing pizza! We would definitely stay again, will try for a river view next time.

The bed was really hard and not comfortable and our toilet did not seem to work properly. No coffee cups so the coffee maker wouldn't work.

The Meyer Hotel is very vintage and cute! The staff was very friendly and sweet, the location is perfect right in the middle of coffee shops and restaurants with in walking distance. We stayed there because our friend was getting married that weekend and it was great, there’s also a nice view of a creek and trees where we took some pictures, definitely something different than a regular hotel and Kimberly was so helpful she showed us our room, it’s like you’re staying at friends house.

The water pipes are old so you will see some brown water coming out first, but we didn’t have to shower there.

Everything! I was traveling with my two dogs so this dog friendly gem was great. I was in the king suit with the screened in porch. The view of the grounds with the creek was great. It rained and it was so relaxing to sit out there. Also the 3 resident turkeys were fun to watch daily. The manager was so kind and attentive. I actually extended my stay 2 days because it was so relaxing there. The cafe on the property (food for the soul ) was AMAZING!!! true HOMEMADE soups and sandwiches. DELICIOUS! The ladies there are so kind ! This is a hidden gem for sure and I’ll be back

We could not be more pleased with the location. Have been coming to this area for years and had overlooked the small town of Comfort. So glad to find this quaint town, interesting location and great accommodations!

Booking through this service prevented us from being able to ask questions about the room before we came. We would still have stayed but probably picked a bigger room and one with a better view. The rooms were available - we were one of only three couples on the premises.

The Meyer Hotel was classic Hill Country. We had a cute cabin that was quiet and private. The pool was great. It was right in downtown area to walk to restaurants and shops. It would be a great place for a large group or event. I loved everything about it🌹

They have different rooms, and the one that is shown on the pictures may not be the one you get. That can be disappointing. The staff was great and worked with us for a room change.

The Meyer Inn's property has a very comfortable and inviting feel. Each room is uniquely designed. I booked a premier king room, although I was a little disappointed at first that I didn't get the room that I booked according to the booking.com's pictures, the room given worked out great for us. The rooms were spacious, doors open out to the back patio and open terrace. The staff was very sweet and tried every effort to make our stay awesome. We truly appreciate it very much. The property is a comfortable walking distance to local restaurants and bars. There's a cute coffee house/antique store and an awesome Mexican restaurant nearby for the early morning and late evening stroll. We did a day trip out to Fredericksburg. Our stay at the Meyer Inn was just absolutely wonderful.

Loved the location and the property. Wonderful places to eat, shop, and get coffee all with in walking distance. Also, it was a short drive to a few other nearby towns for shopping, hiking, and places to eat. We loved the screened in balcony! We ate out there and had morning coffee while watching the deer and other wildlife. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was wonderful. Pool area was very nice, but to chilly to swim.

Mattress was a bit hard, but that's just personal preference. The daybed had a memory foam on it, so just used that for reading and watching TV. Also like a really dark room for sleeping, but brought along an eye mask, so that helped.
