the space, the quietness, location, convenience stores nearby, across from specs 👓 park nearby close to Toyota music factory if you just must get out. Windows open if you want fresh air, high enough that small children can't hurt themselves. Ice machine and reasonably priced laundry no vending but they have snacks and drinks in a small glass frig. Carpeted hallways and stairwells so that definitely absorbs noise. For the most part you don't hear a thing.I love that. I felt safe. ICE MACHINE near downstairs elevator inside laundry room it's 3 floors middle of hotel bottom floor to thenright on left side from lobby. Phone in room even if you don't need it. I like the towels their not luxury but they're hefty get the job done and they are clean the bed is huge more for the firm bed sleepers not very cushy I'm cool with that. Serious minded staff. They remind me of the Adam's family but their cordial they may not smile but your needs will be met.kinda monotone not very warm friendly or sociable, but you feel like you're kinda at home?? the roomkeepers do a great job however. I'm a tad bit OCD raised that way so if you are just bring sani wipes or lysol for the headboards and door handles, toilet. That kinda thing. Barefoot my feet weren't dirty walking around the room. I'm earthy like that. So they keep a tidy room away from home 👍

I liked how when I got there the gentleman at the front desk let me go check out the room to make sure it was to my liking before paying.

The remote control didn't work properly for the TV but to us it wasn't that big of deal because we weren't there to watch TV anyways. The lock was broken and the deadbolt was broken so anyone with a keycard could have just come right in.

The elevator was not working and my reserved room was on the second floor. I explained that I have some joint issues and could not do the stairs for the entirety of my stay. They said that they only had a bigger room available on the first floor (which cost more). The manager gave me the room for the same price. It was a difference of $20 but I appreciated that they did not give me a hard time but instead were hospitable.

The elevator did not work. This is something they should mention.

Big spacious clean room

Staffers overly attentiveness to my sitting outside in a format of trying to find a quiet comfortable space to be alone , think and get a little paperwork completed. (Didn’t end up taking place for me due to unexpected unnecessary concerns of staff

The employees shown hospitality,my room was pleasant with a view to the interstate,and near by was a convience store & retuarant in walking distance,and most of all very peaceful atmosphere.

No laundry site for guests!

A very nice place.a little dated but nice.very clean,bed is comfortable,I'm staying a 2nd day.here on Work related business.when in the dfw metroplex will choose Tropicana motel and suites most definately.i give it 5 big stars overall very pleasant stay so far.front desk very up on there duties.kudos you guys.great job overall...one of best accommodations room had love seat type couch desk and nice office chair.coffee table nice not too big not too small flat screen TV with full blown cable service and all the sports channels.great place to lay your head and relax.quiet!!!

Only didn't like was the room did not have a discounted weekly rate,only day by day rental rate....blah! The Tropicana

I have stayed there many times, maybe 7 or 8. I love that the room is spacious and has tile flooring. I don't like hotels with carpet because of hygiene/cleaning reasons. Quiet location

I could smell cigarette smoke from next door which defeated the purpose of a non smoking room. Usually, I am located near the end of either side of the hall. This time, I was in the middle so I believe that made the difference of me smelling smoke.

I did not eat breakfast there. I loved having a microwave oven and small refrigerator in my room. That was a great surprise.

I have no complaints, especially with the great rate I paid for 5 nights.

Staff was friendly, microwave and fridge were working properly, room and bathroom was clean, ac was good. Ample amount of parking. Felt safe. Great value for money! Lived for 15 days!

This was a great place! Yes a little out dated but I highly recommend them! The rooms clean, I seen it was family ran and love that it is! The staff was all very nice and understanding! The rates were amazing but my all time favorite was the staff! I appreciate them very much!
