The Continental breakfast exceeded my expectations. I wasn't expecting scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, and surprise..delicious biscuits and gravy. Great coffee too. Comfortable bedding and soft linens. The place was quiet (second floor). Friendly and helpful reception (and shuttle driver, too).

Needs USB outlets. I noticed there wasn't a blow dryer, but I didn't need one this trip. I didn't realize the place was undergoing a remodel. It was probably stated in booking.com but it was late at night after an airline cancellation and I didn't see that. It didn't matter as far as what I needed because it was quiet and comfortable and included breakfast and the airport shuttle.

I like the room size and it was comfortable, very clean, and the staff was exceptionally nice. Catherine morning receptionist was very helping I had checked out my room and forgot my jacket in the closet. I phone the hotel back and Catherine was very kind she went the extra mile to go check my room 511 closet and found my jacket and brought the jacket to the front desk for me to pick up. She is 5 star customer service, with a friendly smile. Thank you LaQuinta Kimulita Mann

There was noisy neighbor right next to my room during the day hours but later it got late evening the noise quite down, just few people in &out of the room door I could here. I was able to get some rest & it was a comfy stay at LaQuinta.

Room and hotel were as expected. The buffet breakfast was generous and enjoyable. I had someone in the next room who liked to watch TV late but that's not down to the hotel. I was very tired so I slept anyway. There was a microwave in the room and a little shopping area near reception. That was good and also a decent price. I got a personal pizza for lunch for $5 and zapped it in my room. There was a very reasonable late check out deal.

The person watching the TV late in the next room - there were communicating doors which probably made it worse as there would be less soundproofing through a door than a wall.

Check-in was fast. Room was very clean and spacious. My girls loved staying here. Staff was helpful, Laundry is on the 3rd Floor $2 in quarters to wash/dry (laundry detergent & dry sheets not available for purchase on property) Pool was open, but didn’t get to use (weather one day it was too windy, the next it was too cold outside)

Breakfast is only served from 6:00a.m.- 9:00 a.m. (not 10:00 a.m.) during the week. Electric went out in the whole hotel and I was stuck outside my room till it came back on.

Close to airport, less than 10 minutes drive. free shuttle ( be sure to book a spot in advance for your return to airport at reception ) room big and very clean, comfortable bed. Coffee, fridge and microwave in the room. Friendly staff especially shuttle drivers! ..Easy check in. It looked like there was plenty of onsite parking. Breakfast included. A good range of snacks,drinks and frozen meals available for purchase in the little shop.24 hour diner next door..I walked to Taco Bell in 15 minutes. Good value for money!

Hallways and elevator a bit tired and grimy looking. Very noisy peoole in next room kept me awake until small hours, but that's not the hotels fault. I left to go to airport at 6am so can't comment on breakfast as it started at 7am on weekends. When calling for shuttle pick up choose the reservations option, I tried the front desk option and no one answered. I'm not sure they pick up from international terminal, I went to terminal B on the subway from terminal D just to be sure.

My reservation was made for the wrong location in fact I'm fixing the book another booking there the lady that helped me was very helpful she corrected the reservation and the other Rochelle Continental the one in humble the receptionist there was rude this one was very polite it's the one I always stay at and I'll be staying there tonight

The refrigerators in the first room that I went to didn't work and the room that I went to better switch to from the first room which was a room over it's refrigerator didn't work either but I was okay with that I guess

The place is clearly understaffed. Common areas are generally dirty, tho the room was very clean and comfortable. However, it is expected given the cheap price. Good if you are a solo traveler or spending the night. They have a free shuttle to the airport that can be very convenient.

Common areas are not clean, rugs smell. I don't blame the current staff they seem friendly but it seems they are understaffed for cleaning.

I have stayed here before and so I stayed here again. I liked the free airport shuttle, quiet spacious rooms, free continental breakfast, proximity to the airport, wifi, comfortable bed and amenities, price, and friendly reception staff.

Bathroom caulking could be cleaned up better but this is simple and can be easily improved. The elevator in the back is also old and slow, and that is something to consider replacing in the long run but it is a nice big elevator for carrying luggage.

This is the only La Quinta location that I know of that does not charge a pet deposit that's what makes sense so unique the rooms are extremely clean the staff is very professional and friendly you know if you're going to stay at La Quinta and you're in Houston Texas stay at the location at JFK they have a pool the pool is wonderful they have ice machines that are on the first floor the rooms are spacious they have a couch they have a desk the bathrooms are clean the carpets are clean even though they don't charge a pet deposit this is the most valued place I've stayed at and if you have a pet please be kind make sure your pets go outside that way the rooms stay as nice as they are it's all about training people and if your dog does sometimes make mistakes stop before you come and buy a doggie pad so that your dogs can use the restroom on it so that you don't take advantage of this hotel because it's a blessing to have a place like this

Isn't anything that I did not like about this location

The location of the hotel is great, the shuttle from the airport reliable. The hotel equipment is older, but the beds are comfortable. Nice pool. Helpful staff.

Be careful which room booking offers you. We wrote 3 adults and a child, and the room had a large bed, but a sofa was not sent. So it is necessary to arrange the details directly with the hotel. Breakfast is limited, everything is packed in individual plastic bags. It is not ecological.
