I loved the in-house restaurant, great tasting food. All around cleanliness of the grounds and the staff is great. We had the pleasure of the executive lounge, which was wonderful. The lounge staff was great and super friendly.

I didn’t like the loudness of the surrounding area, which you can’t help since the hotel is literally sitting along the Riverwalk. The rooms are a little outdated. Restroom door didn’t close all the way; and the toilet; shower glass door; and restroom door proximity were way too close together, it was super tight. Our hotel room door was a little crooked & had a small gap on top, not sure what that was about.

Upon arrival the staff was so friendly & courteous & even took our luggage to & from our room & loaded/Unloaded our vehicle. The room was so beautiful, cozy & relaxing & the view was spectacular & everything was in walking distance. we didn't need to pull our car out for anything. The Pool area was very nice, Pool, Pool Table, Exercise room & relaxation. The food is amazing. I definitely will stay her any time I come to San Antonio. Good Price for the hotel

Bed was a little stiff, but it was still comfortable. Really No Complaints. Overall We slept good & still had a great nights rest. The bed was new so just need to be broken in LOL :-)

Our assigned room was still occupied (do not disturb hanger). So the bellman hurried down 8 stories and got us another room. When we entered it had only one bed. The bellman hurried down 8 stories. We were upgraded without charge to a 28th story room with a free concierge room with complimentary beverages, evening snack and desserts and breakfast. The whole experience was FIRST RATE!!!!!!

Nothing at all. Elevators were very quick, staff was very efficient, room was exceptionally clean.

Breakfast was rather expensive for what you got. There omelette making was very good and the chef very nice but otherwise the buffet was a bit disappointing for the price. Our room had interconnecting doors on both walls meaning that we could hear the next door rooms very easily. Not ideal especially as our daughter was then placed 4 doors down. We had not requested interconnecting rooms. It's mainly a conference hotel and on several evenings noisy groups in the bar meant that we didn't go down to the bar when we would have liked to. We had booked for riverwalk view. As the hotel is situated at the end of an offshoot of the riverwalk it wasn't quite what I had been expecting.

Friendly staff and nice perks like free room upgrades and room credits.

We had ALOT of luggage and didn't want the bell hop person to help us because we didn't have cash on hand to tip him at the time, so because he could not helping us and get a tip, we couldn't use the luggage tow :(

Excellent location for access to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, La Villita, the mall, and nightlife! Our king bed room was very comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic! Overall, the Marriott Riverwalk is a good value for a property in a highly desirable area.

The property and staff were very good and accommodating. The proximity to the Riverwalk and other attractions was an added bonus. We didn't use our car at all the weekend we were there and walked everywhere. Would definitely recommend this hotel in the future.

Alot of road noise, our room was hot(we'd set our room temperature on a setting leave for a bit so it had time to cool down some come back and the setting was set up higher) no water in our room like it was supposed to be, no free wifi or a small continental breakfast for the price you pay for the rooms a night...

Nickle and dime approach. Charging for Wi-Fi in 2021?! Please, Motel 8 provides as service to guests. By the way, Martiott used to have LAN connection and would even lend Ethernet cable if you forgot yours. What happened?! Would not mind the $25/person breakfast if there was something outstanding about it, like delicious? Meaning, for $25/person I expected some great buffet. Nah. Good old sausage, scrambled eggs, etc. Nothing wrong with it, just way overpriced. Have been at other Marriotts where the $25/person breakfast felt like a 5 star hotel. Wrote in comments coming down for 30 year anniversary. Nobody mentioned a thing. For that price I thought somebody would say ‘welcome, happy anniversary’. That little detail would have made my wife so happy with zero investment from Marriotts.
