It was close to everything Alamo, Riverwalk and the mall with shops and restaurants

You had to valet park I was not informed of that and the construction going on in the hotel, and a day without water from 11-3

After the second night, we asked for more face cloth and towels, which took over an hour to get, and we had to be somewhere,.,called down to the front desk 3 times and even asked if we could go pick them up ourselves…nope Also, it is only valet parking at an extra $45 nightly! This was not clear when booking stay.

The location is fantastic, just a few mins walk to the Alamo and few more to the Riverwalk. With it being a few streets away from the bars/restaurants the location was quiet which was great. I travelled alone but booked a 1 bedroom suite and was not disappointed. Kitchen facilities were ample and the living space was more than enough. The bedroom was a decent size and i found the bed super comfortable so got 2 really good nights sleep. Breakfast was included in my rate and hit the spot! The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again on a return trip!

Im an early riser usually but breakfast stopping at 9am would be a bother if i wasnt! On my 2nd morning, there was obviously an issue in the kitchen and the buffet was served upstairs but had to be brought downstairs to eat. I must have missed the signs advising this as i had to ask anothet guest where to go. Minor gripe though and not really an issue in the grand scheme of things!

It is well located, can drive up easily and walk to the major atractions.

We found some leftover staff under the bed (gummy bear) and some old bakings next to the table, but well, it isn’t Four Seasons. As for the parking - it is expensive valey and don’t even bother to try finding other public parking lots nearby, they all are approx the same price but you face the evacuator if forgetting to top up. I found by luck that the street right next to the hotel (4th street) has a stree parking with free parking from 6pm to 8am and for the whole day afterwards costs 3$. If you arrive midday, then there definately will be spots available

Our room was huge. The staff was all so very nice. It was within 5 minutes of the riverwalk. We went to the riverwalk many times during our stay. We also visited Mission San Juan, the San Antonio zoo, and the Japanese gardens. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again one day soon! We definitely recommend the Sonesta ES suites!

Our hot water stopped working on the second day we were there. However, we were ever hardly in our room so we just pushed through. The only other thing was there was no free parking around. It cost $40 a night to valet park at the hotel. I would say it was worth it. They bring you your car anytime you need it you just text the number provided.

Every single staff we interacted with or were even in an elevator with was genuinely kind. We were displaced by the hurricane and needed to extend our stay due to many days without power at our home. Jenna walked me thru how to extend our stay thru a 3rd party. Our room was comfortable, and clean even though a bit dated. But good news they are renovating! So next time we come it will be even better . The breakfast every morning was well put together , not much variety but hey it's free! They had gluten free and sugar free options as well! The valet staff were helpful every single time we needed them and the housekeeping staff were prompt and kind with meeting all of out needs. The corner is also a parking spot for the electric scooters that are fun to zip around the area. The alamo is literally down the block! We will 100% stay here again!

Bed was a bit hard but, the remodel has new ones coming :) we saw several being loaded on elevators.

This will be my new go to hotel when I'm in San Antonio. Room was clean and spacious with stove top plus refrigerator. Had a nice view. Didn't eat breakfast their but it looked okay. Staff was very helpful and some young Hispanic guy that when we pull up that work there and had an electrician job also was very helpful and made it easy for me to check in.

Parking was a bit out my range not a bad thing but for me I park on the side of the street with free parking after 6pm. Which work out fine me. Check out was very slow. Maybe need a way to check out faster maybe something in the room. Still nothing bad this is to be expected.

The breakfast was good but I was a little disappointed because I assumed from the menu they were serving breakfast tacos but it was actually folded egg instead of an actual taco. The location is great because it’s close to everything, the Alamo and river walk are right there.

The beds are very firm and not comfortable, they look good but once you lay on them you realize they are not comfortable. The ONE thing I didn’t like is the parking, it’s valet only, I’m not a lazy person and I don’t mind walking to park my own vehicle, they tell you once you arrive that it’s $40 for parking but it’s $40 per day, I think that is ridiculous because parking is usually provided for the guests, this is an additional cost for travelers to plan for.

T staff was very nice. The room was large enough for 3 adults. The breakfast is very good. The parking (we rented a car for out of town activites) was an extra charge, is average for the location. The car was parked and retieved by tge valet, an extra convience. The hotle is one block from the Alasmo, and within walking distence of the San Antonio Riverwalk. A very good value for family traveling with children. There is a full kitchen, with a stove, a dishwasher, a full refridgerater, and cooking utensils.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was relaxing. The staff was nice and courteous. Location was great. The food was good. For the price I paid I received what I paid for and was satisfied with the service.

I did not like the price of the parking. The cost of parking was high. The area was not great for parking. It did not offer much for safety for your vehicle. The pool was small and not in a pleasant location. The workout area was also small and did not offer much in weights.
