So well managed. Every department was run with the same high level of professionalism all centred around the guest. Perfect location for visiting Bryce Canyon. So many activities to keep you enjoying your visit to Ruby’s.

We were enjoying our stay so much we asked to extend by one night. Unfortunately they couldn’t let us stay in the room we had, but offered us a more expensive room in the main building which was more expensive. This room was generally more noisy during the night and was right above the main loading bay for the resort with huge trucks delivering stuff and fork lift trucks beeping as they reversed and the workers/drivers talking. A disappointing last night/morning to what was a great stay.

Could be a little more choice for breakfast. As stated in Booking, I gave a card for the reservation but wanted to pay with a different card. Result: my card used for the reservation has still blocked the total amount +/- 450£, the card that I payed with has been charged for this amount and at the same time has the same amount reserved. Which means that both of my credit cards have thus amount blocked. I called them (UK to USA) and said that they will take care of it and should call back in 2 days if amount still blocked.

The hall with the front desk is very nice. Actually the whole setup with lodges around the main building is nice. Parking right in front of the room. The place is located very close to Bryce Canyon national park, even the bus shuttle into the park is departing in front of the hotel. The room setup is a bit old fashioned, and this is just perfect for the location and general style of the place. Breakfast was tasty with many choices. Dinner at the Cowboy's Buffet&Steak room was just great and also the service there was worth a note.

It was disappointing that the live country music dinner show was adervtised, they even sent me a message offering that, but it was not yet open at that time of the year. Also, information if the bus shuttle into the park is already running was confusing (but that may not be the hotels fault). The main hall could perfectly use a bar to have a drink or two in the evening.

I wish the soaps and shampoos could come in large dispensers fixed to the walls. Large dispensers are easier to use, cheaper to fill up, and more environmentally friendly. Small soap bottles are difficult to use, environmentally wasteful, and often don’t contain enough soap. I really recommend that the hotel implement a system of large dispensers that can be fixed to the wall in the showers and bathrooms. It will ultimately save the hotel, quite a bit of cost. The pillows were very comfortable. They sink down pretty easily. I wish there are memory foam pillows at various thickness.

It was very nice altogether. It's quite a big populair facility actually, with a lot of staff. But we came from Las Vegas on a little roadtrip and went from sun to snow and the whole vibe was just so fun when you're a tourist from Europe! haha. The lady in the restaurant gave me some advice on food as I didn't want to eat another big plate of meat or a burger and she helped me very well!

I do think it has lost some of its charm by growing so big. Which is understandable, but I pity that sometimes. At breakfast in the morning we still had a big cup of coffee in front of us but were asked to make room as people were waiting in line for breakfast. So we excused ourselves and when leaving the restaurant there was no line at all..

Lovely hotel, very well located close to the entrance to Bryce Canyon. We stayed 2 nights, earing in the restaurant for 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Used laundry facilities and on site shop which was really well stocked. Main staff interactions were in the restaurants, and they were very friendly and helpful.

My only suggestion for improvement would have been for a little more variety on the buffet, it appeared to be the same offerings each day. Although we were able to have some of the a la carte offerings to mix it up bit, so not a major issue at all.

Easy to find. Room was quiet no noise from adjacent occupied rooms. Spa, pool and fitness center included. Hot breakfast in the morning. Very close to Bryce Canyon. All staff members were polite and welcoming. When it snows they are very quick to get parking lot and walkways cleared!

Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn advertises the winter activities and provide maps of groomed cross country ski trails - and share maps showing the trails come near Best Western - but Best Western has 6 buildings and a large parking lot - where is the trail? No one at Best Western knew :( (here is the secret - the groomed snow trail begins at the end of the Lakeview Lodge building). 6 buildings - with no covered connections - means you must walk outside in winter (or drive) to get that hot breakfast.

The location was great. The rooms were really comfortable, as were the beds. The hotel has a restaurant. It was pretty expensive, but the meals were good, including the buffet. There is a little store in the hotel, a photographer for old time pictures, a pool, lots of art and, during peak season, a booth to book activities. It was very nice.

The refrigerator in our room was loud, we just unplugged it for the evening. The pool was in the main building and we were in another building. This would not be an issue in the summer, but it prevented us from swimming because we did not want to walk back to our room, which was quite a ways, in the snow after swimming. As mentioned, the restaurant is pretty expensive.

The convenience to the park, the on-site restaurant was good, other restaurants nearby, liquor store on premises.

Asked for no housekeeping when checking in, but they came every day early in the morning when we were there, and told them not to come again, they came the next day and clean the room while we were gone. Told the check out desk in the morning again that we kept getting housekeeping and intrusion into our privacy. Need better communication about that. I can make a bed and I don't need new towels and soap everyday.

Great location at the entrance to the park. Excellent amenities and layout. Desk staff were courteous. Restaurant food was surprisingly good, and included options that were “safe” for gluten sensitivity and vegan members of our family.

Not much to dislike. Only negative was, I paid a little extra for Lake View, but got moved to first floor due to family pet with us, so couldn’t see the lake past all the cars parked in front of the first floor rooms. Shouldn’t be charged extra for something we didn’t get.
