Great location for snowboarders who want to ride the Cottonwood ski areas. Three blocks walk to a bus stop that takes you to Brighton and Solitude. The bus stop is before the transfer/park and ride stop. This allows you to get on the bus before the horde especially on the weekends. Help and friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Spacious and modern room.

Not many day to day changes to the breakfast items. It can get old fast if you are there for a week. The hotel is located on a busy up hill interestion. I had to change room because of the traffic noise.

The most comfortable hotel bed experienced in a long time. Great shower and sink. Decent breakfast. Very clean. In a great location - fast to Downtown Salt Lake City and also Park City.

The TV and especially the remote control could have been better. Minimal channels to choose from and if you want to use a Fire stick or something similar, it's hard to figure out. And the remote control is the worst remote I've ever used.

Everything was great; check in staff was incredibly accommodating when I asked for down-free pillows, and went as far as replacing ALL the bedding to feather free which is usually a nightmare and many places won’t do so. I was very grateful and got a fabulous night sleep. Jojo at reception was also very kind to walk me back up to my room right after I had checked out, because I had left my wedding ring up there!

Wonderful hotel. The property was clean, staff helpful and friendly. Our corner room was nice with awesome views. Breakfast was nothing special but good. A number of decent restaurants within easy walking distance. Could use a few USB connectors in the room, but only a minor inconvenience. Pool and hot tub were great!

Great location for accessing the ski areas.

Was told hotel shuttle would be available starting at 8am to take my wife and I to the UTA bus to Solitude, but when we needed it, we were told the van driver hadn’t arrived yet. The reception staffer was unfriendly and unhelpful. When the driver did arrive, she was friendly and apologetic, but it made us late getting to the mountain.

The breakfast options were above average for a "free" offering. Ready early for the business and skier crowd!

This hotel has been a great option for car-free skiing in the past, because they offer free shuttle transportation to the ski bus. This year the shuttle doesn't run until 8 AM (much too late for weekend skiers) and the driver didn't show up for work so we were stuck. We hitchhiked to the ski bus.

I was on the first floor, and it was very loud- I asked for extra pillows and never received them or had the request acknowledged. Staff was fine, but felt very overwhelmed and stressed. They did not make me feel like I wanted to interact or ask for anything.

Convenient location and very quiet

The mattresses too soft, and the mattress cover cheap and would not stay in place. The pillows are extremely heavy, they feel like they are a combination of feather and some other material. Just too thick and too heavy. There were hair in the shower.

The floor in the bathroom seemed sticky. The mattress cover kept bunching up, it needs to be improved. It doesn’t fit the corners very well and therefore it pops up. The breakfast could be better, they could offer better French toast and waffles

We chose the Hyatt Place for its location. On a trip to visit family, it was well located near the 215 and 80 fwy. Also, there were several restaurants within just a very short walk that made it nice for the end of the day when we were tired. Good staff interaction throughout the visit and for those who enjoy skiing, this is a great location to visit ski areas. The hotel seemed quite new and staff went out of their way to make sure everything was to our liking. Good breakfast each morning as well though available only until 9:00.
