We did not eat breakfast because I am gluten free so there was nothing I could eat except an apple. If you had hard boiled eggs I could have had two eggs and orange juice and my husband would have had a reasonable good breakfast. A choice of fruit, orange or banana along with apples would be nice.

Here for work, the staff worked with us as we have a few rooms, very friendly, I would come back again

Quoted a price for our stay, and they wanted to change it to a different price than what was quoted, but we got it all cleared up, they are friendly and it's clean

Location along route, so good. Breakfast was ready and place was clean. Room was comfortable. Price was good

There was something spilled on the bathroom floor, looked like blood? I wiped it up, Traffic noise like trucks going by was very noisy in the morning, not very sound-proof room. Door looked a little battered, but worked fine.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to accomplish. The staff was excellent and made sure that we had everything that we needed.

Easily located on main road on the far east side. The check-in service was prompt and friendly; mattress was firm and comfortable. Clean room made me feel comfortable. It was cool enough for me to just use the fan for the room. Guests were quiet. The breakfast was decent and what a delight, fresh milk for cereal and coffee tea. Most appreciated.

You can't take the main road away but once in the room and the fan or A/C was on, the traffic noise was more subdued. The room needed a bit of fixing - carpet coming off the wall needed mastic one of the table chairs has a back that was unstable (room 109). There is no freezer compartment in the fridge no big deal unless you depend on one for your cooler freezer packs.

A lot of traffic noise steady all of the time. More breakfast choices, usually things like oatmeal and yogurt are standard

The room had all I needed for an overnight stay—a comfy bed, good shower, fine air-conditioning, and a coffee pot.

The breakfast was enough to get me on the road, but that’s about it. This is a very old motel with few amenities.

The staff was very friendly. As overlanders, we need to resupply and and the location was perfect. The room is simple but clean and perfect and to have the much needed rest. So much to explore in the area too! The lady who attended to us was so friendly! Not to mention her cute little kids. I would definitely recommend Split Mountain to my fellow overlanders.

Nothing to dislike in Vernal.

The breakfast was an incredible bonus. I expected maybe a roll & juice, there was that but also instead there was so much more. They had make your own waffles, fruit lots of extra great stuff, cereal etc. Along with the very nice staff Made it a great place to say at a very reasonable price. Only downside is it was right on the noisy main route thru town, but it was perfect spot to stay while visiting dinosaur national monument & flaming gorge

Good bed. I was in a room handicap accessible. Big bathroom yet table made it had to get around. Over all good place to stay for one night. Breakfast was good too.

Table to big. Need vacuuming around table legs..
