Our 3 night stay at Bluebird Cady Hill in Stowe was mostly positive. The location was perfect for easy access to the town, many restaurants, and the Trapp Family area. The room was spacious and the king-sized bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and responded quickly through email to any issues, especially considering our stay included Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

We did have some very minor issues with the room, however. There were 2 cabinet doors under the TV, but no drawers in them for storing clothing items, no clock radio or night-stand drawers, and no towel hooks outside the shower. The poorly designed water pot caused water to spill out the top when pouring, and the coffee packs were useless. The TV menu was a big mystery (I used to design user interfaces as part of my engineering career) and the remote lacked functions for streaming like fast forward and reverse. Outside of those few nit-picky items, we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and easy to chat too. We had multiple conversations with them over the two days of our trip. They provided recommendations in the area. Definitely made the stay for us. I wish I got the name of the amazing gentleman who works there. Absolutely adored him. The room was warm and clean. We found the bed and the sheets so comfortable. Wine was great and reasonably priced. The fire pit is so nice. We sat outside our second night and loved it, really nice to meet and chat to other travellers. It was my mums birthday and they were so kind and gave a little goody bag and really spoilt her. We sat out on the little area outside our door and had a glass of wine in the evening, and then again in the morning with our tea. We loved the communal area and how it was styled. Cute little shop as well with a few bits.

Honestly I really couldn’t fault it. Couldn’t stay anything bad. Do agree pool had a few bugs. But not a biggy for us.

A beautiful, relaxing, clean, and convenient place to stay.Near many restaurants, local movies, bike trail, hiking and skiing. The hotel is newly renovated. The room we're in on the hill is cozy, the bed is so comfortable, the facilities are inviting, and the views are amazing. The TVs are smart and connect to various apps., the bathrooms are modern, and I think the tile floor is heated.The pools, hot tub, sauna and locker rooms are all clean and handicap accessible. A set of mini chalets are being built, and look like they'll be very nice once complete.

The closet is big, but I do wish there were a few drawers in the room for clothing. I also wish there was a safe for valuables. I also wish there was a retractable clothesline in the shower to hang bathing suits.

We loved how accessible it is using the shuttle , food options at town was plenty and great The hotel staff were catering to our needs , rooms were in good size with microwave and kettle for coffee The sauna indoor pool and hot tub were a great addition apres ski and kids game area made it easy for my kid to meet other kids and enjoy his time Food options at the hotel were excellent for a quick bite if you dont feel like leaving the hotel

The Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge was in the perfect location for us- drivable to all of our favorite spots in Stowe with parking right outside our room. The room itself had a chill Vermont vibe, very cozy yet modern, clean and spacious. We loved that we could bring our pup with us! The extra $35/night was worth it. The facilities were very clean, the shower was hot, and the staff were lovely. We used the hot tub only once and enjoyed it. We also loved that we could communicate with staff via text- this was especially convenient when we had to check in later than expected.

The bed was a little hard for my liking, and the AC didn’t work great. Other than that, everything else was great!

Everything has been recently redone and renovated, and the room and common space in the main lodge are very comfortable. It's like a cozy, modern, mountain-town living room.

The indoor pool could use some love. The pool area is very dated, and the water had hair and bugs floating in it. The arcade seemed like a cool feature for traveling with a young kid, but since they were coin-operated, instead it was a few minutes of fun and a lot of disappointment. Overall, it's a lovely lodge, but not worth $350/night.

Great location facilities and amenities

The hotel did what they could and they were responsive but we had a neighbor that left their dog in their room and the poor thing was howling and barking for hours and hours. Again the hotel was I believe addressing the issue and thankfully the dog did stop yipping long enough for us to finally get some sleep. Bit other than that, place was fantastic!!

A last minute bargain for our little last minute road trip from Boston to Stowe, Australians wanting to see the colours of fall and a visit to the Von Trapp Brewery. The location is beautiful, a perfect spot for hiking if we'd only had time. The lodge is perfect, we pretended we were apres ski people, great pool and spa, plus fire pits outside. A highlight of our trip to America.

That we had to leave. Maybe one day we'll come back for the snow season.

Very cute, loved the vibe. The bike trials are right behind the building with immediate access to some of the best MTB trials in the region, and then able to walk to many cute restaurants. There were also some fires going and ppl making s’mores. Adorable place. Beautiful Mountain View’s in the back

Nothing really. Mountain road in Stowe can get pretty traffic heavy, but once you turn into the property you feel immediately removed from that

Rocky start . ..no hot water for almost 24 hours after checkin. Said they were having problems with it...so why not move us? Front desk nice but kept saying 2 more hours over and over. Offered us some of the prepackaged food items to compensate..we said no we don't eat that stuff. They did finally agree to compensate us for the first night. Should never have put us in that unit to start. We did love the place other than that issue
