WE enjoyed breakfast and Victor was an excellent waiter. Both the continental and hot breakfast was delicious.

At check in the young lady stated "I need to see your driving license?" I suggested to her it would sound much better to say "May I see your driving License. It sounds more invitational and respectful to the customer. She followed, " I need to see your License. Sometimes there is such a resistance to finding more appropriate ways to saying what we need to say. For years I worked at a Five Star Hotel, and I appreciated any feedback I received. The Lodge is such a beautiful place and our experience was delightful from Warren at dinner to the family history.

Room was spacious and very clean. The views were amazing from the rooms. Staff was wonderful, everyone is very friendly/helpful and in a good mood. The tours offered were also very nice and informative. Wish I would have had more time to do everything available there. The dinners at the lodge were also very nice, as was the brunch.

The Kaffeehaus is disappointing, do not waste your money on food (the coffee is good). The last few times we have eaten there, the quality of the food is not the greatest. We went for breakfast, the Applestrudel you get served is cold, you need to ask to warm it up, and they use a microwave making it lukewarm and soggy. The breakfast sandwiches are all pre-made and sitting in a warmer wrapped in aluminum, you end up with a soggy bread, at $10 it is not worth it.

Loved the pictures and history of the Von Trapp family. Comfortable bed. Good pillows. Nice shower. Lots to do - the small family rooms with fireplaces and puzzles were charming.

Terrible snow - ice control in high traffic areas. Not every one is an athlete and at almost 70 I was hesitant to walk to the pool area because of all the ice. I was very disappointed at how poorly this was maintained - very unkempt. It is on a slight hill and if I fell I could have broken a hip. I had planned to swim everyday and wasn’t able to. Lack of inexpensive food option. We needed to leave property for breakfast and dinner most nights. At $27pp plus tax for breakfast we could both eat for same price as one. we had dinner at the restaurant and brewery. Meals were good and staff was fabulous.

A lovely place to get away to with lots on offer. Beautiful surroundings and rooms, and the food was amazing from each dinning outlet. Also, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting the Trapp lodge!

The lodge is in such a beautiful location! We stayed for a wedding which was held in the meadow and was such a magical event. We loved the hikes, animals and gardens and even played some tennis. We enjoyed morning coffee on our patio which overlooked a small orchard and the woods then a walk down to the Kaffeehaus for a pastry and a gorgeous valley view! The Lodge is clean, the rooms are large and the staff friendly.

Some interior updates and out door maintenance is required but the lodge is rustic and feels comfortable, not kitschy or corny.

We liked having nothing to do...no schedules. Although, we did enjoy the spa, pool, room and balcony, reading the history of the Von Trapp's through your photographs, having a nice cocktail before dinner and a wonderful lunch. It was good to get back to the ole' bratwurst again! We're originally from Wisconsin and our German fest always had the best brats around, now including yours. We liked how you used old tree boughs for ground cover and marveled how clever that was. We liked waking up to a beautiful sky and sunshine and quiet music that was piped in throughout the Lodge starting as soon as the birds woke up. If I forgot anything I can't imagine what that would be.

I can't think of a thing.

The breakfast was good. I would have preferred that it last until 11:00, but otherwise, no complaints.

The extra charges for every activity.

The lodge and scenic setting are beautiful! We loved the von Trapp History tour! Sooo interesting! It was so nice to meet Kristina, Maria's granddaughter! Enjoyed the ice cream social!!

Had trouble trying to reach the dining room to make reservations for supper. Kept getting a busy signal or a a message saying this number was invalid! Finally just went to the dining room. The cost of a room seemed expensive to us. We're not used to paying so much!

We didn't have breakfast at the lodge but at the cafe down the road.

If there had been a small coffee bar available in the hotel that served breakfast...coffee, tea, pastries, egg bites, fruit.

Breakfast was great, and having an indoor pool option saved the two day trip with the kiddos due to the rain. My favorite part of the whole thing was having a shuttle to take us to the Bier garten where we ended up eating dinner there two nights.

I wish there was more of a discount on the buffet for people staying in the lodge. Breakfast was great, but I don't feel like I can or did eat 26 dollars worth of food. 18-20 dollars would of been better in my opinion.
