Enjoyed the fireplace in the front lobby. Breakfast was much better than a typical hotel - hot and cold items, pastries not wrapped in cellophane. Coffee and tea available all day and fresh cookies at check in. All areas were very clean and well kept. Location is perfect if you’re going to the VA hospital.

Person who checked us in was not very knowledgeable. He said there were no restaurants in town. We found at least 3 online. He didn’t tell us about breakfast times or offer wi fi information. The room was too hot. We put the thermostat on cool. The fan ran all night, but the temperature never dropped below 70.

We loved the location. It was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, as is expected at Hampton Inn. We loved the room set up. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

The bed was very firm which made it hard to sleep or get really comfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch or pulling the sofa bed out to sleep at night. Even with the air conditioner on, my husband and I were still hot and would get sweaty. The wifi was fine for the standard person, just need a little patience for any streaming. If you're looking to do big downloads or expect really fast speeds, I recommend you do those before you get here.

I really appreciated the laundry facilities. The area was very clean and the machines were in good working order. One of the two dryers was out of order however. The staff at the front desk were so accommodating and helpful. Laundry supplies were plentiful at the front desk and it was obvious that a store of quarters is continually kept at the ready for guests using these facilities. Our room was very clean. I can’t comment on the breakfast provided as I didn’t partake in that aspect.

I wish there had been a better option of eatery choices, however this is out of the control of the hotel itself.

Well, there was this odd wet spot on the carpet by the fridge. I think the fridge had been left open and it leaked. I informed the front desk when they texted me to ask how the room was and asked if we wanted a different room (which was really nice of them). I said, "no thanks, that wouldn't be necessary." I made sure the door to small fridge was closed and put a waste paper basket over the wet spot. No big deal.

Breakfast was great and had plenty of choices to start the day! We also loved that there was an outdoor eating/hangout area where we enjoyed some takeout for dinner. It was perfect for our kids to sit and color and to have safe outdoor space to play vs being kind of cooped up in our room (though the room was lovely)! Also... in the lobby there were a near constant supply of complimemtary chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven - a thoughtful treat for guests :-)

Clean and comfortable

That the front desk -manager on duty Vicki rudely said “ I need your ID for check in” with out even saying hello or welcoming us to Hampton Inn. I just stood puzzled as I worked in customer service for 20+ years and was shocked by my greeting. The other worker said “she said she needs to see your ID” I said “I know, I was just shocked that you all didn’t even say hello to us” she tried to make up for the complete rudeness by striking up a conversation with me but it was too late. It was by far the rudest interaction I have ever experienced. And to see her name on the board that says “manager on duty” haha what a absolute laughing joke.

It was a last minute booking due to dangerous driving conditions. Check in was easy and I couldn’t have expected anything better looking for an affordable night stay since I couldn’t finish my drive home due to snow. The hot breakfast included was a nice perk and the rooms were was nicely updated.

Very nice, standard, to be expected Hampton Inn. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast. At a highway intersection, so handy stopping point.

Room was missing shampoo -- but I didn't let the desk know. I suspect they would have cheerfully produced it. But the stay was marred by a fire alarm going off around 5AM, apparently the result of a faulty smoke detector in the lobby. It would have been nice if they had offered even a small discount for that level of discomfort.

Clean, close to the center

.1. The bath in a disabled room does not have manual shower control. 2. Though we asked Specifically for an accessible room, and it was promised us thru the booking support team, the room that was assigned to us was not an accessible. The guy at the reception was very responsive for our request and luckily found another suitable room, but such a mess should not have happened

Beds are extremely comfortable, free breakfast is delicious, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pool is family friendly. Nice lady who checked us in arranged for 2 adjoining rooms. Hotel is very clean. We had a great time.

No restaurants within walking distance. But that is no fault of the Hampton.
