Property was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Pool was nice and not crowded. Complimentary breakfast very nice with a good assortment of drinks, pastries, fresh fruit with a hot selection scrambled eggs and sausage links or pancakes. There was a Dunkin and Baskin Robins in the parking lot. It’s nicely located just a short drive to Fredericksburg historic district and Mary Washington College.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

Very clean and pretty. There were little gardens outside the rooms in case you wanted to sit outside. The bed was very comfortable and the pool looked lovely. the water pressure was excellent. The best thing was homemade breakfast. We had omelets with spinach, cheese and salsa. There was fresh fruit and yogurt. There were a few options, French toast was one and i don’t remember the others, but they cooked in front of you. The owners take excellent care by keeping it spotless and so many beautiful flowers. I was pleasantly surprised and definitely recommend.

Our room was pretty clean (saw one spider in corner ;0) and overall comfortable. The breakfast was very good and a large variety of selections. Check in and out was easy.

Neighboring homes to the location were having a loud party our first night. They played very loud music well into the late night. also didn't like a pizza delivery man knocking on our door after midnight only to realize he was at the wrong room.

Location good , immediately off the I 95. Room was quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were good; room dark to sleep in. Plenty of towels.

The bathroom and sink need to be updated. Toilet didn’t flush well. Switch from bath faucet to shower head was incomplete, thus less stream of water. Tiles around the bathroom floor need repair. Sink was also iffy.

I was very pleased with the overall cleanliness of the facility. Despite the on-site amenities were a bit dated, the notable lack of dust or scent of mold you might find in other places made up for it along with the well situated and stocked free breakfast. Real eggs and sausage and mini-pancakes are a delight.

I had a moment that a next-door guest was drunk, loud, and sobbing as she argued into her phone at her X-boyfriend. With a call to the main office however, she was asked to go into her room to help stifle the sounds of her baleful wailing. The prompt response of the main office staff even at 3 in the morning is the only reason my rating of this facility isn't below 6.

I hate motels but this one was clean, convenient and bed was comfortable. Most importantly I felt safe.

Could not tell from the pictures that it was a motel. I typically do not stay in those and almost lost my money to look for another hotel. Glad I gave this a chance.

Although I had not realized that it was a motel when I booked, we were pleasantly surprised by how everything was clean. There was an issue of no telephone in the room and no heat which the front desk addressed and resolved in time. Breakfast was excellent, staff pleasant and happy which says a lot about the property and management.

I had a room by the pool, though it was October and too cold for the pool it was a lovely setting with a bench to sit in the sun. The room was spacious and comfortable. Eggs were cooked while you wait at breakfast. There was a lot to choose from , something for everyone. We were able to walk to dinner at a diner, which was also very good. There were several restaurants in walking distance, and I'm a old lady. It is convenient to shopping.

It is close to the road so there is some noise, but is convenient to many restaurants and shopping.

Love the fresh fruit and the nice woman who prepared the eggs

Floor in our room was missing laminate in places. We showed a photo to person at front desk although it does seem the person who cleans the room would have already told maintenance. The bed was very comfortable

A nice hotel to stay the night. Nothing fanny but good value. A good breakfast in the morning before travelling again. We were in the off season but its looks like a great spot for a swim....nice pool.

Missing shampoo in the room.....had to ask at the desk and received one little bottle. No other complaints.
