From the moment I arrived the team were incredibly welcoming and helpful. This is a relatively low-cost hotel for the area and in line with expectations In terms of the overall building, the room and the complimentary breakfast. The room was large and the bed was really comfortable. It was immaculate and the cleaning service and the replacement of towels etc. was exceptional. I had read previously that the breakfast was fairly basic which it was however, it was perfectly adequate. Coming from the UK, I was a little surprised to see disposable plates and cutlery But that aside I had the best scrambled egg I’ve had in a long time! While I was there, I Had a bit of an incident where my phone died on the Metro and I had no way of booking an Uber to take me the 10 to 15 minutes ride back to the hotel. Long story short I approached someone at the station who was incredibly kind who called the hotel for me and the general manager himself drove to the station to pick me up and take me back to the hotel. 🙏🏻 That is one example of how the team put themselves out to make sure the guests are not just comfortable but properly cared for. I was there for work and travelled into central Washington DC each day by Uber for the most part until I discovered the shuttle service from the hotel to the local station which runs in the morning and then in the afternoon was incredibly efficient. Thank you Mr. Trey and the rest of the team for your hospitality and care!

The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was clean. The price was very reasonable. Nice to have CVS & IHOP right next door.

I knew this going in so I wasn't upset about it, but be aware that this hotel is quite a distance from the metro station. Budget for uber to get you to the metro.

The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were clean and maintained. I liked that the double bed rooms had two sinks. One inside the bathroom and one outside of the bathroom. This was a very convenient feature to have while traveling with several people. They offered a limited variety of breakfast choices, but just enough to satisfy any traveler looking to grab a quick bite before starting the day. The standard waffles, danish, muffins, eggs, sausage and potatoes were offered. There was supposed to be yogurt in the refrigerator, but apparently they ran out. Coffee, tea and juice were available.

The breakfast was nice. Better than continental! They had sausage and eggs or ham and eggs each morning. You could make waffle or toast or choose cereal. There was fruit and yogurt as well. Location was good for trips to Washington DC. They shuttle us by van to the metro and we rode i to DC that way. The shuttle to and from the metro was great. Shuttle ran from 7-11am i believe and then again from 5-9pm. The only thing I didn't like is that we were stuck in DC til 5 if we didn't come back before 11:am. However the staff was super helpful and if i had asked to come back early I think they would have tried to make that happen. You could also drive to east falls church metro and leave your car there for a small fee(around 5 dollars). They you could leave when you wanted. The hotel also let me check in earlier than the 3:pm check in since they had room available. This was super helpful since we got there from Alabama a lot earlier than we planned.

Would have been nice if shuttle was available for return earlier than 5 pm. We got tired and hot around 3pm the first day there.

I choose this hotel for the value. It was clean, quiet, easy access with free parking and the front desk staff were very helpful. Beds were comfy and there was nice equipment in the fitness room. We took the shuttle to the metro and back one day, which was very convenient. The driver was super nice!

The breakfast had no dairy free milk or yogurt and no oatmeal or gluten free cereal. There were scrambled eggs, potatoes and a meat each morning.

The staff was very helpful and apologetic about a broken elevator and offered to put me on the first floor. Several options were suggested for dinner off site which provided healthy options and carry out for dinner. Also enjoyed the gym with the TV news in the morning!

The sad no pool available as I cancelled my first reservation when I found out this same sad fact as I wanted to relax in the pool in the evening. Would have preferred the second floor with an elevator as people above me moved around a lot as I was trying to go to sleep early. The gym floor padding needs to be fixed around the door as it is hard to open because it moves and requires some extra effort to push open.

Clarion Inn I had a week-long stay in Washington DC in July 2023 and I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel than Clarion Inn. Each member of the staff was welcoming, polite and friendly.They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff at the front desk was very patient and helpful! Odko gave me a room which suited my health conditions. Sam understood my predicament of not knowing where to get vegetarian food from and ordered food for me. Lori was quick to respond with a smile. Eric was a dependable presence! Night or day , the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff remained unfaltering ! The housekeeping and kitchen staff worked diligently behind the scenes but their efforts were visible. Kyra and Trey were very friendly and supportive and made every effort to help me. Each one contributed to my wonderful stay and I have the deepest gratitude for all. The premises, including the rooms ,were comfortable, well designed and very well appointed. I loved that there were two basins in the room. Very practical indeed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets very soft. All very clean. The swimming pool was a bonanza. If there’s one thing I would request for, it would be an elevator! Travel-weary guests need that!!

The location is perfect for me. The place I visit is literally across the street. It couldn't be any closer. Free parking and breakfast are a definite plus. There is a shuttle that will take you to and from the Metro if you are working / visiting. Inquire at the front desk.

The room could use a refresh. Ventilation in the bathroom could be better. I wish the doors had better sound proofing. Some guests are simply loud in the hallway.

The breakfast was ample and well presented. The breakfast room doubles as an event space. The room was immaculate, with both a bath with sink, as well as another sink just inside the room. Two queen beds appear to be the standard. Adjoining rooms can also be reserved for larger parties. Finally, the property is midway between Arlington and Falls Curch , and offers shuttle service from the hotel to a nearby Metro station.

All was to my liking.

We stayed for 3 nights, some of the rooms still under renovation but luckily they got us the newest rooms. Comfy bed, clean bed and room, new bedsheet, towels. Pool is open till 9pm with pool guard in present. Free hot breakfast and free parking. Fast check in/out. They only clean the room every 3 days unless requested. Friendly and professional staffs. Location is very convenience, CVS is just next door, ihop, chinese food, shot walk to all kind of restaurants+gas station. 20mins drive to DC. This is a great deal, Clarion inn Fall Church, thanks for making our vacation memorable. Keep up the good work guys!
