The price was affordable ($60ish during the week in October). The location was close to where I wanted to be (ferry). Room was as pictured. It was clean (no dirt/dust on the floor, no stay hairs in the sink, no stains in the tub) , no smells, beds made up well.

If you are sensitive to noises, then you may not want to stay here. Even in a room on the back, furtherest from the road, you can hear every car, truck, semi drive by. If there is someone above you, you'll hear just about everything: footsteps, anything dropped, and conversations. The rooms beside you are less than that but still could hear the hair dryer and various noises. None of this really bothered me as everyone seemed to be considerate and not make excessive noise. The traffic noise did not keep me up. It helps to play some white noise, thunderstorms, etc (I use Spotify or YouTube to stream background noise like this).

Overall a GREAT value! Easy access to Olympic NP. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and always had a smile on their face! When we needed more shampoo I received it in seconds, when we asked for an extra pillow it took less than 2 minutes and it was hand delivered to our room. Will 100% stay again.

Showers were a little small. The bed was firm. The TV stand and other furniture were dated and had some damage. The AC wasn't great so it got a little warm but we cracked a window and had a fan going which made it the perfect temperature to sleep in. Honestly, for the price you get what you pay for. It was nothing that would deter me from ever coming back! In fact next time I'm in the area I 100% plan on staying here again!

Pretty basic motel but good price and location for hiking trails in Olympic National Park. Dated look and the bathroom is very bare bones, the bed is comfortable enough and the room was clean. Prices seemed high considering the older motel with few amenities but it was actually well priced for other hotels/stays in the area and it was great for a one night stop. Check in was fast and there was parking onsite, check out was just leaving keys in a a lot so super easy.

Dated rooms and really basic bathroom

Location, central and close to all. Mattresses; not super soft, decently firm and that’s what we like. Slept like a baby. Fridge; A-they had one. B - it was quiet and did not have to unplug it to sleep.

It’s a motel that shows signs of wear but honestly I would come back. It’s clean, it’s comfortable and despite the fact that it’s showing signs of wear and it’s not perfect you can tell that the owners care. I would rather stay here 10x over thank a chain.

This motel is way better than it looks from the road. The sign is old and needs updating, but that's about the only thing on the property that looks old and needs updating! The grounds are well kept, the rooms are super clean, the linens have a new feel, the beds are comfortable, the furniture is not dated. From the moment we opened the door to the room our expectations were exceeded.

The location and the staff were great! The place was clean and it was what we were expecting in general terms, with a microwave and a mini-fridge.

The room in which we slept was cold and we did not see any kind of heater around the place. We did not see there were extra blankets or something to make our night a little bit more comfortable. Also, In the bathroom, the Shower Curtain Rod fell on my head when I was trying to get out of the tub. Last but not least, the bath plug didn't work, which means, you couldn't have a relaxing bath after a long day exploring the Olympic National Park.

One concern was the bathroom light. It at first appeared that the only light in the bathroom was the light switch outside the bathroom which also was wired into the loud bathroom fan as well as the mirror light. Only during the second day did we dare try the switch which appeared to be an old unused fan switch. This was in fact the switch for the overhead light in bathroom that was set with a timer. It would be better if this switch was actually labelled "overhead light".

The price is a bit steep. I am used to prices being half of what they are today. This applies to all motels/hotels today. Problem is that my wages haven't doubled in same time frame as motel prices have doubled. My wages are the same. Another concern is that there was no phone in the room in order to make local calls to restaurants, etc. We are from Canada and our cell phone doesn't work in the USA.

Older hotel but room was big enough for a table and two chairs plus a desk. A/C unit, nice bath, and the bed was terrific! Very nice sheets (whoo-hoo, not white!), expensive-feeling and very soft. Bed was very excellent, firm. I hope they (and other hotels) don't get sucked into "upgrading" to pillow-top beds, which just kill my back. Good TV and easy channel guide, nice towels and hair dryer in bath. Town isn't walkable from the hotel, but Port Angeles is small and easy to navigate with lots of parking by the harbor for shops and restaurants so this wasn't a problem for us. Short drive to Hurricane Ridge, Port Townsend ferry, etc. Pic from Ediz Hook.

The upstairs king suite was spacious, newly renovated, and squeaky clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The fan and freestanding indoor air conditioning unit kept the temperature comfortably cool and masked the traffic noise very well without the window needing to be open as in other older rooms. After experiencing the star viewing event up on Hurricane Ridge, we came back to the motel and slept like a rock!

Nothing to not like.

Room was clean and beds comfortable. For a motel it was very good. Management team was excellent. We left something in the room and were able to retrieve it a couple of days later. Location was very close to the ferry to Victoria. Rooms do not have air conditioning but enough fans to keep you cool.

Our room had a window screen with holes in it so suggest those can get replaced to prevent insects from entering.
