Very clean and comfortable. Nicely remodeled. Convenient to Hurricane Ridge and local attractions. It had everything I needed for a welcoming stay (microwave and fridge, pleasant surroundings, nice shower, accessible plugs, all the basics and an upgrade from a Motel 6 experience.) That said, iPad and AirPods were my go-to solutions for entertainment and noise control. I gave it a 9 for its class, keeping in mind it's not a $200 a night motel.

Manage your expectations This isn't a resort. I stayed three nights but was out for dawn and dusk photography. Be prepared to deal with minor inconveniences like street noise, cramped parking, and sometimes tight quarters for bigger people (I was in a standard queen room.)

Our room was a basic hotel room with two queen beds. Very clean and spacious. Check-in and checkout was easy and quick. Location was perfect for our needs.

Parking was at a minimum and the parking stalls were tight.

Don’t let the outside appearances put you off, this was a great stay! The interior is clean and updated. (I’m very thorough checking cleanliness, specifically for bed bugs) The mattresses and pillows are comfy. The bed spread was nice and not one of those typical creepy motel blankets. Though located on a busy Main Street, noise was not an issue for me. The walls are solid enough and the newer windows seal well so I slept soundly. I love the retro style fridge/microwave, it adds to the look and they worked well. ( major bonus that the little fridge has a separate freezer! ) the manager was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!

Overall, I loved it! Being nit picky, here is one thing that could be better: the wifi. It worked, but was a little slow. The place was fully booked, and it wasn’t a major issue for me, but it could be better. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring ear plugs as it’s on the main road. Traffic isn’t bad too late or too early it seems, and I wasn’t bothered at all. Neither of these “issues” affected my stay, I had a great time.

While the rooms are small, they are newly refurbished, nicely organized, very comfy beds, very good shower, excellent homey restaurant across the street, and 6 minutes drive from ferry.

Ignore the worn exterior, the inside is what you’ll appreciate. I’m not sure if this happens to others, but my remote key fob did not work in the hotel parking lot, and while there another guest had the same issue. Drove a block away and it worked fine again.

The owners of the motel have done a great job renovating the internet (rooms) of the motel. The LVP flooring, the bathroom, the decor were all very nice. The staff was also accommodating when we needed additional items.

The exterior of the property needs a lot of work. I was actually a bit frightened when we pulled up. The bed was that heavy foam, which might be better for mitigating the possibility of bedbugs, but isn’t a favorite. The standard complimentary soap/shampoo/conditioner was the worse I’ve ever used. And the ashtray, attached to the side of the building, was a daily stopping place for drugged up homeless men.

Plenty of beds for our familly of 5. Great location for the area. The bathroom shower was excellent. Beds were comfy. Twice we saw deer walking through the town... that was a trip! There was a "patio" at the end of the building which was nice to sit out on for some fresh air.

The outside was pretty run down. While I appreciated the 3 beds it was a little claustrophobic with 5 of us in there. Luckily we weren't spending much time inside.

Upon first impressions of the exterior it would not be my first choice. However the interiors have been updated and were great. The staff was friendly and courteous at check in. We had a service dog and had no hassles. We were even given the option of downstairs for our service dog which was amazing.

It was a tad noisy. We could hear other people in the other rooms around us. And the parking was tight since the motel was fully booked. Make sure to back in park for easy exit.

I liked the location and staff and the inside of the room was nice as well as clean.

I don’t like the outside. It could use updating…the sign looks like it’s on its last leg and it’s right next to the alley where I made eye contact with a group of guys clearly up to no good. Made me feel super uneasy instead of getting a head start on packing the car at night we just took it back up and opted to pack up in the morning.

The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Loved that the bedding was not the typical heavy quilt over a sheet which is just too hot and instead had a nice blanket and lighter bedspread which was perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The stairwell could use some lighting and tightening up of the handrails. The heating/a/c unit was loud and glad I travel with earplugs.

Cute little motel with the multi talented lady they helps everytime. My room was renovated with a new mattress. It was really clean (also the fridge and under the mattress… that’s happens not all the time in high class hotels) and comfy. The Wi-Fi is not the best, but was totally fine for me :). I need the room to sleep and check my mails. If you have a light sleep, you should use ear plugs. I forget it and I can sleep all the night. As woman I feel safe in the hotel and in the city. Tried every evening an other bar and have had no issue to walk alone on the dark through Port Angeles.
