We chose the location so we could have a very nearby enterprise pick us up- for that it worked really well. There were many restaurants and shopping options nearby. The rooms were nice and getting extra towels, etc. was simple. After a long day of traveling, the food at the restaurant in the lobby was delicious.

The photos/name are a little misleading. This is more like a theme park hotel with lodge theming, in the middle of a business park/major shopping area. It was wooded and relatively quiet, but just not exactly what it shows. If you are arriving via UBER or other ride service, it is super unclear where the actual entrance is to the hotel because of the restaurant/patio. While the restaurant onsite was delicious, it was pretty pricey. Even though there are lots of things that look "nearby" the area is not really as walkable as it looks on the map to access other options without a car.

Very clean. Comfortable bed and shower had good water pressure. I arrived earlier in the day before our check in time to drop off some flowers. I asked if the staff could put them in my room so that they were a nice surprise when my lady walked in. The staff agreed and made sure they were in fresh water in the vase I also purchased. They didn’t have to do that, but it was very thoughtful.

There was nothing I didn’t appreciate about the property.

The bed is comfortable. Stairway to 2nd floor room very accessible. Friendly staff at front desk. I appreciate that the front desk is available 24 hours. Hudson Grill is good! I like that it's in Heathman Lodge!

Our shower/tub drain was very, very, very slow. Despite our daily request to front desk to have it fixed, maintenance did not fix it. It was pretty disgusting standing in ankle high bath water. The ATM was out of order.

I love their rooms. I get a room with a King-sized bed every time. The hallways have nature sounds and it's relaxing and beautiful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They were able to shred some documents for me and direct me to the closest hair salon.

I always get the feeling that they just hate having to work with booking.com, which is awkward for the guest. Also, they've started charging an extra $10 per day for parking. When I said I didn't have a car and would like to not be charged for parking, I was told that it was really for everything they do, like the coffee at the front desk, etc. It was waived this time but I was told it was a one-time-only courtesy because it was listed only as parking on booking.com.

For starters.. I stay in more hotels than most people...so I've become much more critical of them. The entire hotel has been well maintained and kept up with...pleasant surprise these days.. All staff was very helpful The hotel is nothing extraordinary but certainly a good choice for those who value their money and want nicer than the "average"

The only issue I had was wheeling my luggage carrier through pull open doors because they have closed off the main entryway and converted it to outdoor dining area...kinda cool but leaves you wanting an automatic door or push-in door as you check in. The rooms deck is in need of a good sweeping...but the trees were dropping cotton during my stay.

Very close to the office I was working at for the day. Cool design, looks like a log cabin. Onsite restaurant and bar. Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional.

When I first turned on my TV the volume was set at around 50 and was extremely loud. I turned it down and it was a normal volume. At around 11 pm at night the volume suddenly turned off and no matter what I tried would not turn back on. I think this is why the volume was so loud when I first turned it on. It was not much of an inconvenience as I was going to bed soon but I like to watch TV when I wake up and couldn't so this was a bit of a bummer.

The location was great, next to all the important shopping centers, but my stay was more about relaxation! The room was cozy, the bed super comfortable! Didn’t try the breakfast, but have ate at the restaurant before, the food is exceptional!

The boy that was checking me in was the nicest com-endearing staff! The checkout was met by cold faces and hauty attitude from the ladies!

I would’ve preferred a free breakfast. I liked that I was not charged to use the washer and dryer. I liked that when I made a request or some thing my request was met. I didn’t like that it was fairly quiet.

I think it would’ve been easier if someone would’ve handed me a brochure or pamphlet, that explained where everything was and how it worked. I did not like the idea that I did not have movie stations.

Great restaurant. Large and welcoming lobby. The rooms had their own private balcony’s. There was a bathroom with a huge mirror, sink, toilet and huge shower. And there was a vanity area with another huge mirror and sink. And then there were another full body mirror in the room as well as yet another mirror which was so handy to have so many options. There was a microwave, good sized mini fridge, Kuerige coffee maker, and tons of lamps/ lights options. We had a dog friendly room and it was huge (with very high ceilings) which was awesome so the dogs had some room to walk around and it didn’t feel cramped.

We were in Vancouver for a 3-day / 2-night wrestling tournament and our son’s school had booked 15 rooms for the team at this hotel, so we booked our room there as well separately. When we were all checking in, our single reservation was in the system but the hotel had mysteriously canceled all of the 15 rooms in the group reservation for the team without any notice. They had given the rooms to another team so we ended up scrambling and calling around to find another hotel that had 15 rooms available for 2 nights. Thankfully the Best Western came to the rescue with enough available rooms, but Heathman Lodge really left the team in a bind when they cancelled the reservation even though the coach had a confirmation.

The decor but it was sparse in the room,

The restaurant was poorly staffed , it took a long time for a person to take our order, she was running between the outside seating and those inside for happy hr, half an hr after asking for my bill did I get it. Later came back to restaurant for dessert, was told I had to go to the other side, needless to say I didn’t move!
