Breakfast was better than most at hotels/motels. We were given coupons worth $6. That covered several breakfasts or you could use the $6 towards anything else on the menu. The view of the parking lot was a bummer, but I expected that as I didn't pay for a room with a view. The room and bathroom are dated, but adequate. Beds/pillows comfortable. Heat/air was very good and didn't blow us out of the room as some do.

Wonderful location, right on the water. The room felt clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, served in their restaurant with a view of the lake. There was a limited menu, but the items we ordered were well prepared and I had an excellent pot of tea! So much nicer than the usual self-serve buffet.

I wish the window in our room was bigger so you could sit and enjoy the lovely view of the lake. The property is a little dated feeling.

Breakfast choices were good—we had French toast and omelette cooked to order and were included in the room rate. Portion sizes were not too large just right as we had an early lunch meeting with relatives. Room was clean and quiet. The large width of the hallway on the second floor seemed to indicate that corners were not cut in the building design.

We waited about a half hour to be seated for breakfast. We had time so that was not really a concern. The motel appeared crowded, but it seemed staffing was the limiting factor. We are not traveling much now. I guess this is the new reality.

The Lake view from our room was amazing. It felt like you were staying with family/friends. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We had originally booked another place to stay however the staff was so rude, unprofessional with a nasty attitude, we had to leave and book somewhere else. From the moment we walked into the Lighthouse Inn we were greeted with a friendly smile and some wagging tails! The room had everything we needed and was quite large. When we return to WI from Arizona, we are only booking our entire stay with the Lighthouse Inn. Also, I'd like to add a "free" real breakfast in their dining room was a huge plus and started out our day of visiting family helpful. If I could give you more than a "10" star review, I would!

We were traveling with another couple including wife with ALS. Overall this was a very good stay. Staff was friendly and Check-in was easy and smooth. WE had requested rooms close to each other and 1 handicap accessible room and got it with adjoining rooms. Rooms where clean and beds very comfortable and quiet. Our rooms where on road side of Hotel so view was not real great from room (but we made no specials requests in this area. View on other side was beautiful with view of Lake Michigan just 20ft or so outside window. Room came with breakfast ... Able to custom order from menu and take $6 off for each person or order one of 5 select meals at no cost. Food was good and nice sized portions Price was one of lowest for 3-star in area at the time. Beach was ok and indoor pool very nice along with hot-tub.

Wooden Swing along walkway on Lake side of Hotel needs serious repair. Need more seating along walkway by Lake Michigan behind Hotel

Everything was nice. Rooms are clean, however, there were some large cobwebs that should not have been in there. I cleaned them myself. Bed was comfortable! Staff were awesome! The view is spectacular, and the beach was nice too! I did not partake on the free breakfast they offered, but other guests stated it was very good! I did dine at their restaurant for an evening meal and the view of the lake is great! The food was good and their margaritas are excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will return again next summer.

Such a perfect location.!!Right off the lake. You can hear the ocean waves.Your able to walk along the lake.It's very beautiful and it's in such a nice area.Surrounded by water!I love that this place gives you a voucher for a free breakfast or a percentage off on your meal to eat at the restaurant that's connected to the Inn.Wonderful food.Lovely restaurant.Family environment. Friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely rooms. Love the decor.Clean.Comfortable. Nostalgia. Felt safe and very happy. I rather stay here then at any high end or more modern hotel.

It smelled musty. Like if you were going through one of those historical places. No supervision in the pool area. A family had been throwing a foot ball around. Almost hitting other people who were trying to also enjoy the pool.Even hogging part of the pool at times.Rough playing.Bothering other families but what could you say.Without causing a scene or making that family target you for telling on them.Another person wondered in the pool area intoxicated and had an open bottle of alcohol.Getting very short tempered with people. There might be a small wait to eat at the restaurant. So plan according.Didn't have to wait that long though to eat breakfast. Go between the rush if possible.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They have laundry on site and soap is given complementary. That is heloful since we are on a motorcycle and can only pack for two days. Breakfast was through the attached restaurant. Very tasty. Our motorcycle had an issue and the maintenance petson helped my husband fix it so we could get back on the road. The view should need no explanation.

If you are a person who needs everything updated this may not the place for you. The beds were comfy, but the headboards and furniture maybe from the 80's. I found it cool and retro, but others may find that questionable.

Breakfast was more than you get at most. Several choices or a discount if you wanted to order from the extensive menu. View of the lake from the dining room, pool or walking, room was clean. Pool was actually heated and hot tub was great.

No hair dryer provided. Mattresses were not as comfortable as newer hotels. Water pressure was little low.

had an issue in the morning for breakfast. waiter took our order and we waited a very long time for food to be served. the other people that arrived after us had eaten and were all leaving. asked waiter what happened and he blamed the kitchen. he gave us the breakfast for free for the inconvenience but put our schedule for the day behind
