The hotel was okay. However, the customer service was phenomenal. The airport lost our baggage. The hotel managed the recovery and had it sent to me in Sapa on our next leg of the trip. We used this hotel as a hub to move back and forth. They were great at coordinating everything for us. They kept our baggage while we went to Sapa and Halong Bay. On one of the nights, they put us in a louder room. I complained about it they discounted it.

The one thing I recommend is that you ask which room is best for you. They have a room that faces the party street. If you get that room, it'll be so loud that you'll have trouble sleeping. So, if you're tired and you want sleep, let them know so they set you up for the quieter rooms.

From check-in to check-out, the staff, led by manager Kelly, were incredibly attentive, making my stay enjoyable. Located in the vibrant old quarter close to numerous dining and nightlife options, the hotel provided a pleasant retreat at night despite the bustling surroundings. The room was clean with efficient air conditioning and a secure safe. The high water pressure in the walk-in shower, even on the 5th floor, was a pleasant surprise. Chosen after careful research for its prime location and value, this hotel offered a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, making it a top pick for my next visit to Hanoi's Old Quarter.

The old quarter where the hotel was located was a very noisy street which was quite chaotic in the evening and weekends.

The room was to our liking and matched the photos on the booking. It was spacious, clean and the private terrace overlooking the busy street made all our evenings richer. But what is important to highlight is that we have never seen nicer, more helpful and wonderful people at the reception. Specially Kelly acts like a family friend and treats you like her own. Thank you very much for a very pleasant days in Hanoi. We highly recommend and if we ever return to Hanoi, we would love to go back to Bella Rosa.

We stayed for 2 nights in March 2024. The room was spacious and clean. The AC was good and powerful. The water pressure was strong. The room has a dedicated hot water line, so we never had to worry about running out of hot water or having to wait for the water to get hot enough to take a shower or bath. I really wanted a bathroom with a bathtub and was not disappointed here. The rain shower was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is right in the middle of the old town and is roughly of equal distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Xuan market. It is just 50 meters from Ta Hien beer street, but it is far enough that the noises from late parties won't keep you up all night. All these positive aspects of the hotel and yet, the best aspect is the service for us. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. They really went above and beyond for us. As usual, you will need to insert the key to turn the AC and power on. However, we arrived to a very cool room as the staff had already turned on the AC before we arrived to make sure that we didn't come into a warm room, which is important as mosquitoes is a huge problem in the North of Vietnam at this time. We asked for some local food recommendations and were not disappointed. We got room 301 and would highly recommend it. It has a floor to ceiling window that sort of wraps around the corner of the building a little. This corner of the room overlooks both Đào Duy Từ Street and the intersection of Lương Ngọc Quyến and Tạ Hiện. There is a small love seat for you to sit and watch the streets without having to stay outside. I highly recommend it

From when I walked Nam was very welcoming even at 1am. The room was lovely and big, with a very comfortable bed. Kelly was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. When I injured my leg she ordered food in and got ice for me. Kelly and Nam made you feel right at home. The location is fantastic if you like food and a vibrant night life.

Nothing, only the fact I couldn’t walk to explore

Lovely woman runs this place and helped us coordinate things we needed around Hanoi like transport and tours. Room was great for what we paid, in about the most central place to access the highlights of Hanoi. Shower was hot for the entire shower (a rarity in our travels) and had good pressure.

There was a cold spell in Hanoi where the temperature dropped below 10C at night, and there is no heating available. Definitely a double blanket situation. Our room at the back of the building was good as far as noise is concerned, but I could imagine if you were at the front it could be loud - it's right beside Beer Street.

The Bella Rosa was a fantastic start to our two weeks in Vietnam! Great location if you want to be in the boisterous city center - the main beer street is right out the front door! A minimal amount of noise came through our big picture window looking out onto the street but we expected that...and we were dog-tired every day so sleep came quickly! The room was very nicely sized with all you need for a mid to long stay. Staff were great, the historic center of Hanoi is fabulous and we would stay there again in a heartbeat! Special thanks for the available shower on the ground floor to clean up before our night train to Hue!

The breakfast was discontinued after Covid...but if you can't find great food at any hour in Vietnam you are actually lost and on the wrong planet! :-)

Very comfortable and spacious bedroom, strong A/C and comfy beds, fast Wifi and perfect location, close to the main attractions and to the street bars/restaurants, but not noisy at all As red in the previous comments, Kelly is always there, always available, even when she's not working at the reception. Very kind and helpfull person, able to help you in your plans and your tours

The breakfast was very good and huge (buffet) but not in this hotel : You have to ask to Kelly to drive you by motobike to an other facility to get the breakfast. Anyway it's just 2min by motobike and 8-10min walking

Great stay. Large room which was comfortable and clean. Great location, right in the hustle and bustle of the old town and very close to Beer Street. The staff were amazing, especially Kelly who sorted us out with free walking tour guides and an excursion to Ha Long Bay. She was absolutely fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Stay in the Heart of the Action I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that truly embodied the essence of being in the midst of all the excitement. We had initially booked a room without a balcony, but to our delight, they kindly offered us a beautiful room with a balcony instead. The balcony boasted a stunning view and was incredibly spacious. I want to express my sincere gratitude for this kind gesture, as it truly enhanced our experience. The bed in the room was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Additionally, one aspect that we greatly appreciated was the fact that throughout our travels in Vietnam, the elevators always operated without the incessant bell sound. This was a small detail, but it made a significant difference in ensuring a peaceful evening without constantly hearing the elevator from our room. The location of the hotel was undeniably its standout feature, placing us right in the heart of the bustling city. The convenience of being so close to the lively Beer Streets was unbeatable, as it allowed us to easily immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the area. Countless dining options, bars, and entertainment venues were just steps away from the hotel, ensuring that there was never a dull moment during our stay. The friendly and accommodating staff, the generous upgrade to a room with a balcony, and the comfortable bed all contributed to an great stay. The central location, particularly in close proximity to the lively Biers Streets, made it an ideal choice for those who thrive on being in the midst of the action.
